I recently took my Californian partner to get some Arkansan sushi after reading how fresh their ingredients were said to be! I made a reservation for two on a friday afternoon, since I read it can get pretty packed in such a good, small restaurant. Luckily we were only their third or so table and received very warm welcomes from the front of house staff. We ordered the edamame which definitely took a while, but nothing super concerning, it was great! I ordered a simple spicy crab roll and my partner ordered the Vandam roll which looked and tasted spectacular. The spicy crab roll, however, looked and tasted bland. I also noticed there was only crab and cucumber in the roll, though the menu listed microgreens and cucumber as well. It ended up just being so crab heavy I chose to stop eating it. I quickly asked our server just for some peace of mind that I was in fact missing some ingredients, yet I was told the menu was just misleading? No big deal, they took 90 cents off. i guess. I would like to try again but my hopes are not high:( read more

Amazing sushi, never disappoints!! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes. I will say the wait is worth it. You will wait to be sat and you will wait for your food to come out... but what comes with the wait is delicious. It's a super dope spot to chat and chill. Drinks are also spot on. We had a reservation for 5:30 Friday evening, Aug 11th. An hour and a half later we finally received our order with no apology or explanation why the long wait. After receiving our food we felt rushed to finish and vacate the table. The food was fair, however, the wait was miserable. It was hot and loud, and flies were buzzing about and landing on our food.
