    Carrot Slice Pistachio Baklava
    Hannah R.

If you're craving baklava, this is THE place to go. I got the carrot slice pistachio baklava and it was a 5 out of 5. So delicious, extremely moist from honey, strong flavors paired well with pistachio, and perfect flaky thin dough. I could eat multiple of this! They have other menu items that I plan on trying in the future, such as different types of baklava, breakfast items/pastries, and drinks. The layout is super clean and aesthetic. They have indoor seating, service is quick, and the staff are open to any questions. Great for brunch/lunch or sweet treat with friends. Also, they are open long hours so if you're craving baklava as an evening treat, go here.

Quiet bakery. Made fresh from a Turkish family. The baklava carrot slice was delicious! Perfectly sweet from the honey and great flavor with the pistachios, reminds me of the baklava back in the Balkans. The spot is owned by a family and both the dad and son were helpful in describing their pastries and ordering.

A little slice of Türkiye! This quaint little deli offers some authentic Turkish ingredients in their paninis, borek pastries, and desserts. It seems to be family owned and the staff is very friendly. Great place to come and relax, have some Turkish or coffee and grab a quick bite or sweet treat.

This bright shop was a spontaneous stop. I needed breakfast, something light. I ordered a Ginger Snap juice with pineapple, green apple and Ginger. I picked up some walnut baklava and a spinach borek, (spanakopita) for my sister. She raved about it! The young man at the counter was friendly and fast. I waited for my to go order at one of the handful of dining tables and studied the menu. The scent of butter and baked goods permeated the air. The coffee machine itself was a showstopper!

I tried four different flavors of baklava, including the Dubai Chocolate Baklava. Even though it was close to closing time and not very busy, the service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was given a taste of the pistachio cream, that is in the Dubai chocolate, on its own and I was instantly impressed. The Dubai Chocolate Baklava is a must-try. This was definitely one of the best desserts I have ever tried. The other baklava flavors were also excellent. You won't be disappointed with any of your choices of baklava here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try any of the other food items, but I can confidently say that the desserts are an experience in themselves. The shop itself was charming, with neat little decorations throughout and even some small games for children. If you're in the area and enjoy baklava, you absolutely should not miss this place.

When you step into Blue Amphora, you are greeted with the most welcoming smile and wonderful smells of freshly made baklava. I have had a few baklavas before, but none compare to the ones here. I personally love the pistachio baklava, walnut baklava, and the Dubai chocolate baklava. Pairing it with a Turkish tea and youre in for a relaxing and happy time. Definitely a must do and must try in Orlando! I bring friends and family here almost monthly!

If you are looking for an authentic experience, look no further than Blue Amphora. My wife and I had an incredible time here. She tried the Turkish coffee with sugar, which was perfectly balanced--strong flavor without being overwhelming. I opted for the Turkish coffee with ice cream; it was delicious, though I think I actually prefer the traditional coffee on its own! The food was the real showstopper. The Kunefe was fresh, warm, and thankfully not overly sweet. But the Baklava... I'm not normally a baklava person, but this place converted me. We tried the Pistachio with Nutella, plain Nutella, Pistachio, and Walnut versions. The Pistachio and Walnut were easily my favorites. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. We'll definitely be back and will be bringing all our coffee-loving friends!

One of the best places I've ever been to hands down!!. The lovely gentleman behind the counter had the best customer service and was super sweet and helpful. As well as the man who actually owns the place was also very kind. The place inside is beautiful and well decorated. Ordered a lot of stuff and everything was hands down delicious. What I came here for was the Dubai chocolate pistachio cup with strawberries. This is an authentic spot and it was delicious I'd definitely come again. Nothing can compare or top this place. And the pricing is also very good for the amount you are getting

Wow!! This was my first time ever having baklava, and it was amazing! I was craving some dubai chocolate desserts and saw this place nearby. My dad and I were greeted by 2 very accommodating and welcoming employees! We tried a couple different types of baklava and they were delicious. Definetly perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The tea went nicely as well! I would totally come back and enjoy more :)

The knafeh trays were delicious and made authentically! We got 3 for Christmas and heated them up ourselves, and everyone loved it. It came with the syrup, and usually comes with crushed pistachios on top but we asked for it without due to a relative's allergies. The owner Selin was so sweet and accommodating as well.

Cute little cafe with assorted baklava and cake slices. Ordered the Dubai chocolate baklava and it was phenomenal. Gooey layers filled with honey, chocolate and pistachios on top of a pistachio cream feathered with kaitifi and pistachios dust. If the pistachio and walnut baklava, that we picked up, are anything like it I am officially hooked. Can't wait to go back and try more of their variety and cake slices. Their savory menu is also inviting

Since it is in the East End Market, you can simply waltz in with little to no line and order your delicious Gideon's treats. It is important to note that unfortunately they don't offer the cold brew here, however, as they don't have the facilities to make it like they do at Disney Springs. But, the cookies are just as delicious and they do always sell their limited edition cookies here in addition to their classics. It is also worth shopping around the market as well since there are many indulgences here ranging from sushi to cocktails to fun trinkets. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference.
