This place never disappoints! From the juicy, meaty wings that are perfectly coated with the most delectable sauces, to the HUGE burgers with the crazy delicious topping options. No matter what you choose you'll be left full and happy! Make sure to see what weekday specials they have because they are quite the deal. We came on a Monday and got to enjoy their shrimp special! The vibes here are welcoming and fun with the bustling bar crowd. The service is always quick and attentive and seems to always be one step ahead from drink refill to extra napkins, they have you covered! BONUS: Always make sure to order a side of Garlic parm wing sauce as a dip for your fries or whatever you please! It's only $1 to add and its garlicky cheesy goodness will have you questioning why you haven't done it sooner!

A great burger joint right in the middle of town. The fact it is popular with the locals should say all you need to know. I've seen it crowded while other places nearby aren't. It ain't haut cuisine. what it is, is reliable bar food specializing in burgers with a civil war theme. yeah I know, shocking in Gettysburg, but it comes to the fore in the burgers where different themes are named for different generals. I forget who I had but it was supposed to have a dill flavor. It didn't seem particularly dillish to me but it was a decent burger at a decent price and fairly good service. I suspect the variations really only serve to pad the menu that wouldn't be hurt with a few less options. I mean do you really need that many variations on 'burger on a bun?' Still as i said, what you get is good. The only other down sidei have is a lack of any sort of uniform by the wait staff, not even 'wear a black t-shirt with you jeans' so in my experience it was a little hard to notice the college aged girl walking down the isle-is she looking for her date or, oh look, she's asking me for my order. Yeah, it's a niggling little thing but it marks the little things that could help this but as I said, with the crowds, they probably don't need to bother.

This is a classic American restaurant with burgers, sandwiches and wings in a perfect location on the corner of downtown Gettysburg. Make sure to snap a picture with the statue of Lincoln outside. The burgers were delicious! I recommend the unity fries which come with classic waffle and sweet potato waffle fries. The burgers are named after Civil War figures. Lots of options and cooked to order. Great spot for a burger and a beer!

Fast friendly service. Food comes out very fast. Nice local bar spot. Gets packed at the bar at night. Great beer and drink options. Great weekly specials Tuna bite- great seasoning. Super tender and great flavor Sickles Burger- good pickle flavor but not overpowering. Good fresh dill flavor. Burger is well charged and meat is very flavorful Buford burger really tender and juicy. Musket balls- very crispy outside and creamy on the inside. Pretty spicy. The sauces that come with it don't pair well and don't tame the spice at all.

While they have a good variety of burgers, e opted for some wings. They were very good with lots of sauce. I had the Devils Den which is the second to hottest. They were really good and they were spicy. Granted, what is spicy varies from person to person, so I'd say I'm about average concerning my ability to eat hot foods. We also had a Caesar salad which we both enjoyed. The salad filled the bowl, so it was hard to eat without dropping some of the salad on the table. I prefer a little more dressing than they provided. We also wanted to try their waffle fries, which were also good. Fresh and crispy. I know it's a mixed up lunch, but we enjoyed it. We have been by a few times and they always seem busy, although we did get a table right away. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.

    Loaded Crab Fries

Stopped in at Blue & Gray Bar & Grill while exploring Gettysburg and was pleasantly surprised by how good the loaded crab fries were! The portion size was very generous--definitely sharable. They came out hot and crispy, and the crab cream topping was both flavorful and nicely distributed across the fries--no skimping here. Every bite had a bit of that rich, creamy crab flavor, and it didn't feel overly heavy or soggy. It's always a gamble ordering something like crab fries, but this version really delivered. I'd come back just for these and maybe pair them with a cold beer next time. Cozy, casual spot with friendly service--great stop if you're in town.

Good wings, tuna bites, burgers and rotation of draft beers. Always a fun, lively crowd and plenty of TVs to watch sporting events.

My wife and I both had the shrimp baskets and two soft drinks for lunch. The shrimp baskets were $17 each and the soft drinks $3 each. With tax and tips the total bill came to $50. The shrimp were obviously pre-battered and frozen but they were pretty tasty. The french fries had some kind of a nice crispy coating and were excellent. The coleslaw was pretty tired. The service was cordial and quick. The decor is as I remembered very nice. There is free parking behind this restaurant, but not many people know it is there. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I think that the cost of the luncheon was a little more than it should've been for what we received. Had the shrimp been coated with a batter and fried from scratch (instead of being taken out of a frozen bag) I might've been able to award five stars. But... All in all this restaurant continues to hold its "very good to excellent" reputation for food and service over many years. I would die there again and I would recommend it with no reservations.

We were there on a busy Saturday; they were clearly slammed and probably understaffed, and it took a bit over 20 minutes after ordering to get our food. Other than the wait for the kitchen, the service at the table was very good. It felt a bit pricey at about $62 for two with tip. Cheesesteaks were good but on the small side for $17 and $19 (the latter on a gluten‑free bun), and a little light on the Cheese Whiz. That, plus a cider and a Coke, left the overall experience somewhat underwhelming.

We both ordered pizzas, and while the center of the crust was a little on the softer side, the overall flavor was excellent. You can tell they put a lot of care into the ingredients and combinations. All in all, a solid spot with great atmosphere and very good pizza. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Gettysburg.

Stopped in here a couple weeks ago when we were in Gettysburg for the weekend…read more This was the second time we ate here and I have to give this a mixed review. The first time we came here, last fall, we ordered pizzas for the table (there were four of us) and we all loved the food. Pizzas were bar pies and were pretty good (coming from a pizza snob). The drinks were a little pricey, but the service was great and we love the atmosphere. This most recent trip was not as good. We both wanted to try the bbq this time and were seated on the 'other' side. We were very confused as there was no BBQ on the menu, only to realize when the waitress came over that we didn't get the BBQ menus. We placed an order for drinks and looked over the menu, eventually we both chose a one meat combo - wifey ordered the brisket, Mac and cheese and cornbread and I had the ribs with baked beans and cole slaw. We also ordered an appetizer of hushpuppies. The sides were all fantastic...the Mac n cheese needed a touch of salt, but otherwise they were great. The hushpuppies were missing something-not sure if they put the sweet and spicy chipotle drizzle on them. Neither of us loved the meats. The brisket was tasty, but very fatty (yes, I know brisket has a fat layer, but this was very fatty). My ribs were a bit tough...again, they tasted fine, but they needed a little more time on the smoker (I'm not a fall off the bone guy, but the bite on these were a bit too much). Additionally, it too WAY too long for us to get our drinks...arrived about three minutes before our food was served. I'm sure this was a one-off, bad day, because I've heard great things about the bbq here. We're gonna stop in again next time, hopefully to bump up the rating.
