We sat outside under the covered patio with our dog who was promptly treated to a bowl of cold water. The patio was comfortable and the interior was equally pleasant. Our server was extremely nice and food came out very quickly and at the perfect temperature. We ordered the seared ahi tuna which was seared to perfection under a sesame crust and served with wasabi mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The tuna was nicely seasoned and a solid portion. The spicy burger was a beautiful presentation and equally as tasty-loaded with juicy beef, crispy onions and spicy peppers. Cute atmosphere, we sat at overflow picnic tables for lunch with our dogs. You order at bar when you sit at these tables. Keg blew for my beer to partner ordered me the NEIPA which was the weirdest hazy I've ever tried. I made him drink it. lol I used the QR code on the only menu given to us and went to bar to order a Hefe which was seasonal and unavailable. If ppl sit on benches, give them a current beer list please. No wheats, no Hefeweizens available. My partner enjoyed his Cowboy burger but my Brewer's Mac with pulled pork was barely above room temperature, needs salt desperately, and just boring. Stopped in for a beer with my dad on a Thursday afternoon. We were able to sit at a high top by the bar and catch some college football. Our server was also the bartender and she was quick and very friendly. She brought out our beers within a few minutes and kindly brought me a sample of the water gap wheat. We thought both the pineapple upside down sour and the hefe had great flavor. The sour wasn't too sweet and the hefe had just the right amount of wheatiness. The water gap wheat didn't disappoint either! We ended up purchasing a 6-pack to go for under $10. We didn't try any of the food, but everything I saw going by looked and smelled delicious. Service would have been 5 stars but... Service started offngreat. Friendly and prompt. The food was mediocre at best. My calzone was greasy and flat. Burger looked fantastic. Drinks were good. Then I ordered dessert off the Irish menu. Ordered the Bread pudding. Did my standard check of ingredients listed. Started to eat it akd felt a burning in my throat. After several bites, realized it had undisclosed walnuts in it. I am, sadly, allergic. Luckily not severe, because if it was, I would likely not be able to write this today. Alerted the waiter. He acted like he cared, but... never talked to the manager, did not have the manager come to the table. Had to ask for more water to get the burning to slow. A fantastic brewery! First time coming to the Gettysburg location, and we loved it. The beer is great! They have a large selection of their own brews. Ordered the Water Gap Wheat Ale and was delicious. A perfect summer beer! Was really impressed with the food, too. Tried the Fire Jumper (chicken) sandwich, and it was so good! The fries were solid as well. We had a large group and the service was great. Everyone's food was good and came out great. Our server, Trevor, was awesome! My family has been coming to this location since it first opened up. Inside are huge windows, it's all wooden beams, and has a rustic feel to it. The staff are all friendly and do their best to give you great service. The beer is all fantastic, they have plenty of options for different palates. My favorites are the Jolly Scot Scottish ale, Embers Remain imperial stout, Hinterland Hefeweizen, and the On Point Pilsner. For food, you can't go wrong with the pretzel or the bacon-wrapped jalapeños! I'm also a huge fan of their campfire chili. The rockfish tacos, the meatloaf, and all the burgers are great and very filling. read more

Service was superb. And the whole place was so clean and just damned attractive. How ya gonna beat that? A couple of us split the peorogies appetizers, and they just rocked. Peppery and so warm and tasty. I had the beer cheese soup and the Caesar Flatbread. Both came out at the same time, but it was okay because I was dipping the Flatbread into the soup and that was so good too. My beer was the Scotch Ale. Absolutely great! The bacon had a sweet glaze to it that really complimented the rest of the burger. The mac and cheese was good, adding the pulled pork definitely added to the flavor profile. The new menu we were given is a smaller but more streamlined version of the old one. It has all the classic favorites between burgers, meatloaf, and desserts. It now includes lighter meals for lunch. We chose the pulled pork tacos and the rockfish tacos. I can only speak to the rockfish as we both devoured our meals. It comes with a side of chips and salsa and the salsa has a very subtle kick to it and is good. My wife actually put some on her tacos. You get two tacos which is great for lunch with both meals. The rockfish is deep fried and placed on top of a cabbage slaw with a chipotle cream sauce. You don't even notice the heat and it's a delicious light meal.
