    Pork schnitzel
    Charlie D.

I was happy to walk into this restaurant as everyone was very friendly and the ambience itself look modern, clean and inviting. Started with a little mezze appetizer, this was great we were able to get a half portion since it was only two of us. For dinner I had the pork schnitzel, and did not enjoy it at all. It was way overcooked and every bite literally was seeped in oil. In fact it bothered my stomach the entire night. Maybe it was just that particular dish but it certainly wasn't what I had hoped for. I also had breakfast here twice and that experience was excellent. So maybe they were just having a bad night when I had dinner. Certainly worth giving them another try

We had $50 credit that was going to expire so we kind of forced ourselves to eat, we went light. My husband got a beer that was very good from a local brewing company. Service was great ambiance is very nice as well

I hosted an afternoon tea here for my friends recently. As someone who was coming from out of town arranging things (seating, food allergies) with the team was seamless. There were nine of us. The theme for September is downtown abbey. We were greeted with a wonderful seating arrangement where everyone was comfortable and could see and hear each other. The lobby at the Conrad is so magnificent yet intimate. Giovanna was amazing at explaining each course and the lovely teas on offer. The selection of sweet and savory offerings were great. All in all the entire event was superb thanks to the team at Blue Aster!

Tucked inside the Conrad Hotel, Blue Aster is one of Nashville's best spots for fresh seafood in a setting that feels very polished. It's got that "just fancy enough" vibe--perfect for a nice night out but not so stuffy that you can't just grab a drink at the bar and enjoy some oysters. The restaurant and bar are absolutely beautiful, fitting right into the modern, upscale feel of the Conrad. It's sleek with warm lighting and big windows that make it feel bright and open. Whether you're sitting down for a full meal or just stopping by the bar, it's an inviting space that feels stylish. If you order one thing here, make it the oysters. They're incredibly fresh, served ice-cold with classic accompaniments. The bar at Blue Aster is just as much of a draw as the dining room. It's a great spot to sip on a well-made cocktail or a glass of wine while snacking on oysters or other small bites. Blue Aster is one of those places that's easy to love. It's classy without trying too hard, the food is excellent (especially the oysters), and the service is excellent and friendly.

Staying at the Conrad and decided to grab breakfast at Blue Aster. Perfect portions, delicious classics and service was great. The ambiance is vibey and moody. Will be back!

First off, Blue Aster is a perfect representation of what a lounge/restaurant at a 5 star hotel should be. Its clean, trendy, offers great service, and some delicious meals. During our stay at the Conrad, we had breakfast a couple times, ate at the lounge, and tried the room service. The breakfast dishes most certainly delivered. Everything was always fresh and cooked to perfection! If you want something sweet? Go with the french toast! Feeling savory? Steak and eggs are the way to go. Wanna be fancy? Avocado toast for sure!! The lounge also offers a great variety of bites like hot chicken sandwich, duck cigars (so good!) and beef tartar. We were lucky enough to indulge in some classy, live music as well. Overall we were very happy with Blue Aster at The Conrad. It was exactly what I envisioned a classy hotel restaurant/lounge would be.

One of the best things about Nashville is the radical contrast of the new and the old, with many hotels having been built only within recent years. The Conrad and its main restaurant Blue Aster are a testament to the beauty of design and refinement. The restaurant serves up truly amazing food, from solid brunch classics to more complex dinner dishes. The smoked salmon toast is phenomenal, but so are the other dishes such as Southern Benny which add a good bit of creativity to the otherwise recognizable brunch menu. The dinner selection of duck is a very memorable dish, presenting a decomposed bird in three different preparations on one plate. Frankly, the quality of the food here was a major surprise. The people who work the restaurant are very attentive and generally, there is plentiful seating. There is often piano playing for afternoon tea, making Blue Aster a very ambiance rich establishment. It would be nice to have the piano positioned slightly more centrally so that guests can see the performer, but that's just getting picky.

This actually would be zero stars, but let's go.. Dinner was so bad we did not pay a dime. We walked out. The manager gave us dinner for free. Everything was burnt and over salted. The waitress was very argumentative over anything we asked her regarding why the dishes were so burnt, and the rice was crispy . The ambience was your basic hotel ambience there was nobody inside this restaurant on a Friday night in Nashville. That should've been the first clue when we walked in. We went to eat here because of an article in edible magazine sadly though the food, etc., was just garbage.

This place is absolutely out of this world! Shoutout to Michael for the excellent service and shoutout to Nik the manager for great service as well. I came here with my fiance for Thanksgiving and my goodness am I glad we came here. Everything was out of this world! The short rib was mouthwatering delicious and honestly so was every single bite of our meal. It's located in the Conrad hotel and it also has such a gorgeous luxurious ambiance. Can not recommend this place enough! Thank you Blue Astar, and Michael and Nik!

Saturday Brunch. Popped into this restaurant because it was in the hotel we stayed at. The ambiance was first class, the table setting's elegant and the staff was happy.the seating was perfect for our family that had a baby car seat. The menu options were all delicious and the cocktails too. The food came out in a timely manner and the food was as good as it sounded, even including the coffee and I'm coffee boogie! The service was as expected. I didn't the the fruit flies and the attendants attempted to assist me.

My fiancé and I came here for breakfast since it was a few blocks from our hotel. This place is located inside of a hotel and the blonde hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. The mimosa was great and I ordered smoked salmon on toast. It was beautiful and delicious. They were great about customizing my fiancé's omelette as well (requested egg whites vs whole eggs and added chicken to it). The bathrooms were nice and the soap smelled very nice.

We stayed at the Conrad and got breakfast at their restaurant, Blue Aster. Their service is superb and the dining area, like the rest of the hotel, looks very classy and fancy. My sister got the ultimate breakfast. She asked for only egg whites for her egg and they were able to accommodate that. She also asked for butter and jam to go with her toast and pancakes. I got the avocado toast and added the smoked salmon option. It was delicious. There were a couple of bites I thought tasted too greasy but still really enjoyed it. We both gobbled up our food like happy pigeons. Overall, would recommend for breakfast for sure. My sister said their dinner menu is also excellent. I would come back again.

Dates of visit: August 11 + 12, 2023 We were staying at the hotel for two days and received wildly different experiences between the two days. The one was great, the other was less so, and as such, averaging them out to 3 stars between the two visits. The first breakfast was great: Service was attentive and fun, and everything was cooked to perfection. The second day service was slow--despite the restaurant being more empty than the day before and while we were served tap water on day one, we were brought nearly $20 worth of bottled water on day two. Thankfully the food on both days was good, if a bit expensive for being a la carte.

I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. We loved the vibe, service, and food and will happily return the next time we are in Nashville!
