Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated immediately outdoors. Very friendly wait staff, delicious food, and great music. Power Bowl for me was fantastic with the addition of grilled salmon. Definitely recommend coming here for breakfast!
Great service! We had a great brunch at this small quaint restaurant. Good food, good people, and a fun time. Morgan our waiter was fabulous!

I only grabbed my drink to go but I had a pleasant experience and next time I am back in town I will probably grab a matcha from here I got an iced unsweetened matcha. I added turbinado brown sugar. If you are looking for a matcha, be advised that the Frothy Monkey a few businesses down only has matcha that is already sweetened and the staff didn't recommend. Here at Hearts 12 South you can get a great reliable matcha.
Just discovered this great brunch spot. We were able to get a table quickly on a Saturday morning. Started with fresh squeezed orange juice followed by latte and food. The seasonal Sage Maple latte was nice. Got it half sweet. And the Spiced Tumeric latte was nice though at first the tumeric was a bit stong on top as it seemed to not dissolve as well. Both the Bircher Muesli & the Brekkie Burrito were a nice blend of flavors. Would order again. Service was fantastic. Cozy. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. Glad we found this spot tucked back off the main street.
I'm calling this a hidden gem as it's slightly hard to find, tucked away behind another building on 12S! Very cool ambiance, amazing for a lovely day where the doors are left open! I met my friend here at 11:00am on a Sunday and we didn't have to wait at all because there were two seat at the bar! I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, but will definitely be getting the chicken Cesar salad next time. It looked delicious!
I was exploring 12 South area and came across Hearths 12 South and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The staff was very welcoming and told us we could pick a spot to sit, and we sat outside on their patio. I ordered the smashed avo toast with tomatoes on sourdough. It was quite tasty! The indoor area is nice and bright with big windows and quite a lot of seating and overall, a nice vibe. The pricing was pretty good for all their menu items and drinks.
We were walking around the 12 South area and most other restaurants were full and had long waits, so we decided to try out Hearts which is tucked off the main street. We were lucky to grab a spot and we were seated outside. Our server was great and friendly throughout the meal. To start, I got the Beet Cacao Latte which was very unique. It's extremely earthy and not too sweet. The beet flavor is very prominent and the cacao brings that slight touch of sweetness. Similar to a 'matcha-earthiness'. The smoked salmon toast was great and flavorful. I'm not a big fan of goat cheese, but it wasn't over-powering and added a nice bit of funk to the dish. Overall I thought it was very solid. We also got a side of the Aussie Sausage Roll. The roll was really good, but what made it even better was a sweet-dipping/jam sauce that came with it. Really recommend getting at least 1 for the table.
Yummy and healthy! Needed some good fuel for the day and this was the top choice for it! Popped in, seated and served quickly. The staff is friendly and awesome. The food was delicious and I walked out feeling great and not stuffed and lethargic as you might feel after leaving restaurants. Ready to get my day started! Parking is not validated but there is a parking lot right in front of this place. Paid for 1.5 hours and it was a total of $19.40 after tax. Kinda lame but that's the cities fault not the restaurants. Good vibes. Good food. Great people.
Good food, nice menu and service is friendly. We enjoyed the smoked salmon w egg on toast and my friend had the kale and egg bowl with sweet potato. Food was fresh and ambiance was upbeat. Great place for brunch and lunch. They have Happy Hour each day at 2pm. Worth checking out. We'll be back for happy hour!
the place was so cute and hidden. i love finding hidden gems. the matcha was soooo good and the bacon and hash brown was crispy. the service was great, everyone was so nice!

Visited Nashville over the weekend and was looking for a brunch spot and stumbled on Hearts. The wait was like 20 minutes so not bad for a Sunday morning. This location is cute and has nice minimalist decor. There's seating inside and out. A great food and drink menu, and kind service from staff + good prices. I ordered eggs scrambled on toast with a hash brown and avocado, a single hot cake and an iced chai latte. Everything was really tasty but especially the eggs and sourdough toast. Really fresh and flavorful food. I would definitely come back here!

Pancakes were very dense and loved the cream , 8/10 Power Bowl had a side of Panko Chicken added , 8/10 (chicken was bomb) Breakfast Burrito (needed more flavor, wasn't juicy) , 7/10 Turkish Eggs (no notes, amazing) , 10/10 read more

Well..we ordered 1 iced tea and 3 Arnold Palmers (1/2 iced tea & 1/2 lemonade)... They actually charged for the full cost of a lemonade and the full cost of an iced tea..for 1 Arnold Palmer X 3. I didn't realize this until I got home. What in the world! read more

Out shopping and was encouraged to come to hearts by an employee at a lovely jewelry store 'Hart' down the street. The store sits in the corner of a small parking lot and offer cocktails, food and coffee I have never seen! The coffee I snagged was an iced latte with added BEET extract/powder, absolutely not what I expected to see on the menu! Coffee was great and I love trying something new that's also healthy for me! Next time I'm back I will defiantly try some of the food, everything I saw looked and smelled amazing! read more

The food was amazing and I really liked the Eggs Benny that I had as well as the espresso martini that was on the menu with the banana something in it. The server was nice and attentive. I really liked the vibe of the place and how it isn't directly on the street. I think I would come back here again sometime when I'm in the area. read more

Hands down one of my favorite spots in town. I'm a sucker for anything on 12 south so when this place was recommended, I knew I'd love it. Well I was more so blown away. They're so kind and accommodating. I came here first with some friends for brunch and ended up taking my family a couple months later. They loved all of their meals. It's a cute spot, a wee bit pricey but well worth it! read more

We tried 4 different dishes. All were solid and well balanced. My smashed avocado toast with poached egg and smoked salmon was fresh tasting and good ingredients. Tried some Vegemite for the first time which was a fun experience. Service was a little slow but nothing I would ever complain about. Place is fun, small, but nothing too showy. Love the sea foam green. Wouldn't give it 5 but it's definitely 4 or 4 1/2. read more

I went to hearts for brunch this weekend ! The food , service , and atmosphere were all nice. The corn and zucchini fritters were amazing ! This was the only restaurant I've been to so far that offers THC drinks and that was an experience of its own. Definitely recommend to try out ! read more

These are the best pancakes I've ever tasted!! The strawberry rhubarb sauce danced the line between sweet and tangy perfectly. They have a fluffy but chewy texture that is almost mochi like. The ambiance in the restaraunt is beautiful, with green plants in a light airy space. Great spot for healthier but very yummy options! read more

So good! I love Australian brunches and this menu has so many options to choose from. We went with matcha, iced coffee, banana bread (with coconut) rhubarb pancakes, fries and the vegan chorizo breakfast burrito. Every item was a 10/10. I'd highly recommend if you're visiting Nashville. If I lived here it would be a staple in my rotation. The ambiance is mellow and nice patio outside. Service was great and accommodating. read more

Okay, bit if a unique review (mainly for anyone with sensory sensitivities) Hearts is fantastic-- It is SUPER overstimulating and loud if you're neurodivergent or autistic in the slightest haha The food was INCREDIBLE. Have been to both locations, consistently fantastic. The space is really beautiful and well thought out, And service is kind! I will say I could barely hear the server speak, and was sweating because of how loud it was, but, when I go ahead, will just ask to sit outside on the patio or try it out during a lower traffic hour. We love Hearts! I was already a fan of the east location thanks to several healthy, gluten free and dairy free options + excellent drinks and a crazy tasty smoothy. Thrilled it's now only a short walk away from us in the Hillsboro area! I can enjoy a hearty meal here and leave feeling great and refreshed due to the attention they pay to high quality fruits and veggies (that are seamlessly integrated into almost all entree choices). We're big fans of the toasted pumpkin bread, eggs benedict, salmon toast, and avocado toast. The eggs are consistently poached perfectly. The folks who work here are kind, attentive, and accommodating. Just the nicest staff! We really appreciate Shelby in particular :) The vibe is relaxed even though service is quick. They don't play music too loud so it's easy to have a conversation with your friends and enjoy your time there. Tables are primarily inside but they also have some outdoor seating (with shade) for when the weather is good. The only downside is they did buy those tragically uncomfortable metal restaurant chairs so we typically opt to sit at the wooden booth side of the restaurant or at the bar. We're loving having a great new breakfast and brunch spot in the neighborhood!! read more
