This is one of my favorite sandwich places to eat. I am genuinely impressed with the service as…read morethey can be swamped and the team tries their best to keep up with the line. 1. They let you try really anything to make sure you'll like it. A good example is truffle cream, but even the cheeses. 2. They try and get ahead of the line. By that I mean while they are making sandwiches they reach out to get the next order, and I'm always impressed that they remember the order. If they don't, or are not confident they do follow up. 3. Lexi and Sam today were amazing handling sandwiches and the customers with grace and kindness. They made us feel like we were special and again didn't make us feel rushed. 4. Additionally, I have an allergy and Lexi was completely understanding. She not only switched gloves but she made my sandwich in a completely different area to make sure nothing was cross contaminated. 5. I have never been disappointed in a sandwich I have gotten here. "Negatives" it should be said that the sandwiches are on the expensive side. Especially if you add anything extra. Which is why I tend to come here as a treat, a friend is in town, or if someone hasn't tried this place before. Surprisingly the sandwiches are big and it can be tough to finish the full sandwich in one sitting, but also that can be dinner or lunch tomorrow. As far as I know I haven't found a free parking area, so you do have to pay for parking.

Excellent customer service, and very good sandwiches. I just discovered All'Antico Vinaio, and…read morebased on the stellar reviews I had to give it a try. All three people behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically and with big smiles when I walked in. I perused the menu and opted for La Toscana. While I was waiting, I was enticed by the beautiful display of delicious and fresh ingredients in the display case. Every sandwich is made to order, but they worked very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. Overall the sandwich was excellent. In particular the Truffle Honey really took it over the top in terms of great flavors. I did feel that the focaccia was a bit too crispy, at least to my taste. I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue or if this is how they always make the bread. I would have preferred the focaccia to be quite a bit softer, but maybe that's just my personal preference. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a very hot day so I stayed inside with the air conditioning. The place is really clean with some nice decor. The experience was really good, and I would certainly recommend this as a great sandwich shop with excellent Italian ingredients. I'll just hope for softer focaccia next time.

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was super tender, packed with flavor, and the sandwich was huge. I only made it through half and ended up eating the rest later that night. It was just as good the second time around. My wife had the Spicy Italian, and she loved it. The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. I'd give this a 5 out of 5 stars.

The parking lot was crowded when we pulled up and there is a number you have to call to register your vehicle or else it could get towed. We found this info on a sign inside while waiting in line to order. The menu had so many good options, but I was in the mood for a sandwich, so the Spicy Italian is what I got. We got a number and had no problem finding an indoor table as it was hot out. The outdoor patio is very large though and this place can hold a lot of people. The food came out in 10 minutes or so and the fontina cheese went well with the spicy cherry peppers, which were unique to this sandwich. It also came with some potato salad. There was a self serve water station and you bus yourself.

Upon entering the Great Hall of the Sandwich Palace, the menu is posted in the nave to the left. Directly in the front of the Grand Hall, you will find a pleasant maid of the court minding the cash register, pleasantly taking orders and greeting customers with kindness. The ambiance is a friendly neighborhood court reminiscent of the sort of place one might harken to from the recesses of their experiences of their youth. Bill, or William if I might dare, I Knight thee Epicurean Dean of Sandwich, Earl of Inventive Gourmet Delight's and Viscount of Aioli. The sandwiches here are truly culinary works of art. The blending of flavors, textures, and culinary artistry combine to deliver an experience that is uncommon. I ordered the Pittsburg turkey sandwich. Typically, a turkey sandwich is a journey to the banal, a milk toast expression of a rather healthy yet unsatisfying sustenance. This sandwich, however, elevated this ordinary and unoriginal offering to an atmospheric gourmet delight. The addition of the garlic French fries directly incorporated into the sandwich was genius. Well done William of Sandwich, your Palace is exceptional and should I have the honor of passing your way again, I will approach your portal and once again and beg entrance to your culinary delights.

I got a weekly special which was a tuna and it was fresh and light. For the money, it was a ton of food and I left waddling out. The space itself is great, dog friendly and perfect for a good bite. I'm happy to be on the mailing list so I can come back for something else.
