    It's a lightweight!

Very small alcove which is likey a good use of space. Came at an hour not busy. Was told it would be at least 5 minutes for my order which was a latte. Ordered the larger of the 2 options- $8. The good: the coffee is high quality. I'm a fan. The drink was a bit of a joke. Three gulps and gone. I told the guy when I picked it up"wow, this is light!" Yes, I know the percentages (roughly) of espresso/ steamed milk/ foam). This was all foam. And I think only one shot of espresso, not two. Still - the flavor of the bean is a win. Love how smooth Blu Bottle always is. But come on! $8 for this? I'm insulted.

Convenient spot to grab coffee when we got off the train. Got the NOLA Sweet iced. Different than other coffee spots but it was some good coffees and for $6.60 not bad at all. They offer pastries as well. They have two lines so it went quick. They have table seating also if you are waiting around for your next ride. The station is very nice.

Came here right after getting off the train. I wanted to get coffee while waiting for my Uber to my hotel .This place is conveniently located inside the Union station. This place is really clean and welcoming. The line was a little long, but the service was really fast. They also offer pastries that look really amazing as well. My coffee (NOLA Sweet) came out and if you ask me I was very pleased. We definitely recommend this place.

A more fancy coffee shop at Union Station, DC. Decor is very nice and have a seating that are usually filled at office hours. Staff is nice. Got a regular drip at $6.87, pretty expensive and the coffee is nothing special. Yeah, better than Duncan Donuts but also quite a bit more. That's a nice pour over at a good city coffee shop. But if you are on company dime or you are the upper part of the K shape economy, then this would be ok.

This is right under the in between before the hall in Union Station. The service workers were very pleasant. Not an overly extensive menu which is not a bad thing. You order on one side and pick up on another. The seats are in the hall area. The matcha latte was relatively good.

When im cravin for Blue Bottle the closets to meet is Union station, the team is efficient when it comes to drink orders and there is seating area to study, wait for your train and spend time with friends. The ambiance is okay and the drinks/ food is good. I usually get the chai latte and matcha along side their pastries.

A small area shop with seating for customers. Located in the main hall area. It's quick and easy when not crowded. Friendly staff and I like the vibe. The coffee is good, I can taste the flavor. They took what is a concept did it right and I am happy. They also have a few baked goods to go with the coffee. As always give them a try see what you think. Let me know.

    Sweet Blossom Matcha Latte

I couldn't believe I paid over $12 for a "large" matcha with sweet blossom (almond milk, iced). It was very tasty though, and I got to enjoy the nice architecture of Union Station in the seating area.

Bonus points for putting design on coffee. Matcha latte had great taste but little disappointed with their fall latte that had no taste other than the frothed milk.

I felt like a princess- a whole swan on my coffee! The latte art was the best part. The employees were also super sweet. Quick service. It's in the middle of a station so a little busy but the atmosphere is great.

This store was closed for the logest time, and I was glad to see that they had already pre-owned because I needed to get some type of caffeine fix to prepare for my journey to New York. This cafe is set-up for take out and the service here is really fast. They have an electronic board with people's names to let you know if your drink is in process or if it's ready to be picked-up. There are no available seats but they do have these extended tables where people can stand. It was all good and I took a seat in the passenger waiting area. I got something different this time called the Iced Hazelnut Oat specialty drink. It was good but I probably didn't need to be so adventurous and a regular coffee or capuchino would have been better for me.

Coffee shop inside Union station Washington DC Took a winter single origin coffee. The coffee tasted nothing special and had to wait for a long time for a coffee. They should hire more experienced barista to be more efficient so that customers don't have to wait for a long time.

Got the large iced nola and an almond croissant. Very friendly service and super quick. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy while you wait for your train. Wish they had some hot food but there are some other options for that inside.

I tend to like sugar (too much) but try to drink black sometimes to try to appreciate the actual coffee flavor and for health reasons. Nice way to hydrate in a fancy way. Art work doesn't typically grab me but this art work did. If I had money, time, and comfortable accessibility to purchase, I would. I am sure I could order online and have shipped but I like to avoid shipping costs if I can. The realism and detail grab me in a way I like. The DC tunnel views that continue to beautify DC's respectable metro system show you that Jimmy is truly a local DC artist. It is reminiscent for me of Juniper Lane's music album cover Tightrope. I didn't notice this until after the fact but apparently when you buy art directly from here you get 15% of your purchase for more coffee here too. Wow. Why the missing star? This is kinda picky but if I wasn't looking or a foreigner, I could've accidentally added hand sanitizer to my coffee and well that's a big no no. Granted the bottle is labeled but I am not a fan of this being in the same area as the coffee add-ons. I know spacing is tight and maybe someone moved this bottle in this area but I don't get that sense and just think it's not a good setup. If this place wanted to expand , I think finding good NYC locations would be optimal as well. I am unsure if Philly would be good or not as an additional location as a coffee culture crowd. Of course I would still come back. It was worth the 15 min walk from the convention center in this hot August weather.

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. As someone who works in the industry and is very familiar with coffee and coffee shops, I was genuinely shocked by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I ordered a house latte with an extra double shot, which made it a quad shot, and I also paid for extra ice and requested that it be served in a large cup. It wasn't a complicated order. When I saw a drink come up, I politely asked, "Is that mine by any chance?" The barista immediately told me to "hush" and said, "I'm not talking to you." I found that incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. When my drink was finally handed to me, I simply asked if the quad shot had been added since I had paid extra for it. Instead of answering my question, the barista ignored me entirely, and another employee had to respond. The employee, Taleisha Young, who was wearing glasses, was especially rude throughout the interaction. No customer should be spoken to that way, especially when they're simply asking about an order they paid extra to customize. Customer service and professionalism should be a priority, and this experience fell far below that standard. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience on other review platforms as well. I hope management addresses the behavior of its staff so other customers don't have a similar experience.
