We walked in to this hip, upscale casual restaurant with cool decor recommended by a long time friend who happens to be a local. The food was outstanding. We had the yellow tail app as well as sashimi and a couple rolls. Our server was outstanding and accommodating- he was able to get us a roll with some minor adjustments. We loved this place. Highly recommend

Blue Buddha is a great dinner spot in the town center of Big Sky. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday and couldn't get a seat until 8pm, but I would say it was worth the wait! We started with the gyoza and it was divine! My favorite roll of the night was the Volcano Roll. It definitely is on the pricey side, but where else can you get sushi in Big Sky! Definitely make the trip to Blue Buddha when you visit!

Service was rushed and rude. Food was not that bad but not that good. Don't go during tourist season

Excellent sushi and rolls. Cheerful, helpful service. The music from the overhead speakers made conversation a challenge.

I loved the ambience and the atmosphere my family even decided to get a reservation. When i pronounced I had a shellfish allergy I was told that everything had been cross contaminated and I couldn't eat there. I almost had to leave my family and uber home since the majority of my family can eat shellfish. I am a cook but I am no sushi chef I have done sushi while private cheffing. I do believe that there are certain steps you can take to prevent cross contamination and being able to store things properly in order to prevent contamination. I understand that when at sushi restaurants there's no helping fryers which is completely understandable. There is also a point I'd like to make how there should be some kind of sign outside or when making a reservation to pronounce on their end that they can't accommodate. At the end of the day I'm disappointed, I almost chose to leave my family, and we all ended up walking out without ordering since they can't accommodate to my allergy. I hope they take steps in the future to prevent cross contamination or pronounce they cannot accommodate to certain allergies before making a reservation.

Father's Day fiasco…read more Reservation for 6 people at 5:00 PM. We were seated promptly, given water, and provided with only 3 menus for the table. The wrong beer was served five times. As well as beers delivered to our table that we did not order. Our ticket was apparently lost in the rush, resulting in over an hour wait for food. When it finally arrived, most of it was cold. The waitress did her best throughout the experience and even called the owner to request a discount due to the poor service. Unfortunately, the manager never visited our table. We received about $40 off the bill, one round of drinks was comped, and we were given free dessert (which appeared to be an extra scoop of ice cream worth about a dollar). Overall, the steak was good, but the sides were cold. The paella should be removed from the menu and replaced with Rice-A-Roni and shrimp. That's not an exaggeration--Zatarain's boxed jambalaya would have been a significant upgrade. I won't ever return and won't recommend it to anyone visiting. Pretty lenient given I worked in the service industry for 4 years but it was really rough.

I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning. The Huckleberry lemonade was very good and was recommended. While Reis was good, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were very good. The bison tenderloin was good, but I think it's better served as a ground meat in a burger form. It was tender, but not as flavorful as some of the other bison, I've recently had. The ambience is a pub/bistro setting. The service was exceptional as my server attended to me several times to check in on how was my meal
