The pho was overly oily, the brisket was too hard and had too much fat. The Thai tea and egg rolls were good though.

Pho was so flavorful. There's no seating at the kiosk, but you can eat it peacefully indoors at nearby Spoons if the weather is cold.

Great food, and great service. Authentic and delicious flavours for the Pho. Great option for good soup after a cold day on the mountain.

We walked in to the "OPEN" restaurant asked for a table for 2 which there was more than enough room for (probably 20 open seats), and were immediately told they were closed! Now there were already about 50-70 people eating, but unfortunately, we would have been the only Caucasians in there! Went to a nice place around the corner and were told this place is discriminatory and prefers to cater to Chinese tourists! The picture below was taken after we ate at the other restaurant, and as you can see it not only says "OPEN" (in neon) but the door is actually open as well. We were astonished at their extremely discriminatory and rude treatment!

The menu is split between two languages (English and Chinese I do believe) - you might have to point at the numbers if they don't understand quickly but I wasn't in a rush or anything. Ambiance is like a "forced cowboy sitting" but it was clean. 1 TV available for viewing but no volume. Price is a little higher compared to what I pay but it's in a tourist location so I'm not surprised. Would I come back? Sure if I was in the neighborhood but wouldn't go out my way. Happy eating!!!

Another nice feature: the menu prices seem to be adjusted to include tips because the payment system didn't prompt for one. The big problem is the food itself: I feel obligated to warn you. Wow. Please read the menu descriptions carefully and ask questions. Don't trust photos. Don't expect this food to taste anything like the same item at another restaurant. The beef udon noodles came out wet and not hot. Lots of water pooled in the bottom. The sauce on top was like marinara. Never seen udon served this way. Ever. I'm hoping this doesn't start a trend. The fried rice was not fried. And, in fact, was also not hot. Our experience was so obviously and immediately disappointing (I took a quick bite to gauge heat and choose condiments) that I tried to warn others behind us in line. Yikes! I hope SOMETHING on her menu is awesome and she thrives while eliminating these dishes.

What a huge surprise and disappointment - the server handed me one of this store bought ramen mixes that you add hot water too and the noodles become soft. I didn't even eat it I was so frustrated - this is a $1.73 product that they passed off as "real" ramen (big noodles, fresh vegies, real beef, etc.) What a huge disappointment - should not be invited back next year to festival.

Surprisingly awesome Chinese food near Yellowstone!…read more Visiting Yellowstone for 5 days and staying just outside the West Gate, in a tiny town so small it boasts exactly one traffic light -- so you know you're in for an adventure. We weren't expecting to find good Chinese food in bear-and-bison country, but stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and wow -- plot twist! We ordered the ELK sizzling platter, because... when in Yellowstone, eat like an elk? Surprisingly tender, smoky, and flavorful -- definitely a local specialty worth trying. The Sichuan popcorn chicken? Legit spicy, crispy, and could easily sneak into a Sichuan restaurant in Flushing without raising suspicion. The stir-fried large intestine was well-prepped (read: clean!) and delicious -- if you know, you know. Even the shrimp lo mein was decent, although it played it a bit safe, like that one cousin who always orders sweet and sour chicken at dim sum. Would I call it New York or San Francisco Chinatown-level? Nah. But for the middle of Yellowstone? Solid 90/100 -- and that's including bonus points for sheer surprise and elk swagger.

The location is not at the center of the west Yellowstone, but parking is easy here compared to parking at the other restaurants in the center. The place is very spacious. It's good for big groups! I strongly recommend this place if you are in the Chinese food mood.
