I had to get a windshield for my truck, so I put a request here on Yelp. Blue Chip was the only company that responded with a price, and something more than boilerplate "Please call for a quote." (If I wanted to call, I would have called!) The price was fair so I took in my truck. They installed the windshield, then noticed the supplier had sent them a slightly imperfect windshield. The owner called to inform me and gave me options to correct the situation. In the end, I was very happy with the resolution and the service. I'm impressed when the owner of a company gets involved with not only quality assurance, but also customer service issues. It was obvious that he takes pride in their quality of work, the value of the service, and customer satisfaction. Rated Five Stars after limited driving over a period of several months. A severe impact had caused a long crack in my windshield. Characteristically cautious about choosing material and contractors, questions were posed and Blue Chip responded professionally (thorough and prompt). I prefer to buy American glass. The Chineese manufacturer who made my windshield claims to be an OEM for some major automobile manufacturers. BlueChip said this is one of their best suppliers. Installation occurred at their facility within the estimated time for completion. There has been no rain and I have not had any windshield impacts since installation. There was an insignificant disappointment: one side of the roof trim was left slightly lifted. Overall, recalling the absence of impacts and rain, it has been a job well done. read more

I will never recommend or use this company. I got the recommendation from a fellow colleague who has a Tesla and heard wonderful things. But unfortunately that wasn't the case with me and I won't be passing the name along positively. I've called the call center twice and spoken with, Aleah and another gal. My truck had a large crack so I knew who to call. Fantastic service and the best part is that they sourced OEM Mopar glass instead of some crappy aftermarket glass. Techs were nice and sanitized my truck after completion. Other glass companies may offer cash and giftcards if you replace through them but the catch is they will almost for certain use glass that will easily chip, crack and break. I called at 10am to check on pricing and scheduling to get a chip filled. Kate said the technician had time the same day between 12:30 and 1. I figured I would stop by and hope to be out after about an hour but the technician started work right away and I was paid and out the door in 30 minutes! The chip was filled perfectly. I'm thrilled with the customer service and that they went over and above to do the job thoroughly yet quickly. As an FYI, during this time, there is no waiting inside. You can choose to wait in the garage (there's fans running and it wasn't that bad for me despite it being 106 outside) or you can walk over to Burger Mania or Starbucks while you wait. I stopped by their facility to see if the chip in my windshield could be repaired or needed replacement. I was promptly greeted by pleasant, helpful staff. One of the folks inspected the window, said I only needed a repair, and they would be able to do it while I waited. During the repair, the technician found another small crack that I had not even noticed and that was repaired as well. The amount charged seemed very reasonable for the amount of work done. The best part was they got everything done and had me rolling again in no time even without an appointment......priceless! I hope to never need their service again, but would return in a heartbeat if the need arises. We are 100% customers of these guys for all of our auto glass needs for life and will recommend them to everyone we know. We made the mistake of going with a large chain that was a "preferred" shop with our insurance company before we ended up at Blue Chip. You don't realize how big of a hassle a windshield replacement can be until a shop sends the same dilbert out twice to replace your windshield, yet it whistles while you drive, and looks like a toddler installed it. Our insurance company tried to fight us and make us use the same company a third time, but we finally got them to allow us to use Blue Chip to repair it right. Jill was super helpful in setting up an appointment for them to look at the botched job the other company had left us with; writing up an estimate quickly and working with our insurance smoothly. Needed the back glass on a 2008 cobalt replaced. Found Blue Chip auto glass on the internet 1 mile from my home. Decided to stop in and see if they could help me out. They tried to go through the dealership to get the back glass. No luck Chevy does not carry that year and model glass any longer. The young Lady working the front desk told me they could get after market glass. The issue with that is there is no warranty. I needed this done asap. She told me she would call whenever they got the glass in. They had the glass at their shop in 30 minutes and got me right in. Was done in under 90 minutes and all at a really good price. Blue Chip did not disappoint. These folks are amazing. I would recommend them to anyone needing vehicle glass. Previously, we had a cracked windshield on the car out here replaced through insurance by another auto glass company that advertises a lot on TV. (We had used this same company back home in the mid-west last year on another vehicle with a cracked glass, also through insurance. They came to the house twice and we took the car to them twice before we had a satisfactory resolution. Problems were caused by young, inexperienced personnel.) The replacement windshield that this same company installed out here, was apparently mounted too high up and allowed the wind to enter the car beneath the bottom edge of the glass. It was very loud at freeway speed. We took it to Blue Chip to get it redone with the idea that we would pay for a new glass if this one happened to break during the re-install which they indicated can happen. They were able to re-use the same glass, fortunately. They are very good. Bottom line, don't waste time looking around. Take it here. These guys know what they're doing. You will not be disappointed.
