Purchased used trailer May 16,2025 with cash. Waited and waited for title, registration sticker and plate. Dealer Temp tag was about to run out on July 15th. Called in and spoke to Krista on July 8, 2025. After inquiring about excessive delay she says "Oh I have your plate right here. I will send to you overnight Fedex." It did not dawn on me the plate, title and reg sticker should come straight to my address from DMV, not to the dealer. Anyway, nothing came overnight. I waited another week. On July 15th I get a Fedex overnight with a plate enclosed along with a buyers receipt for the plate dated July 14th, 2025. No registration sticker or title. Paperwork for title was dated the same, July 14th. She totally lied to me and I guess thinks I am stupid. She did not file our paperwork for 58 days after sale. Totally in violation of the state law requirement for dealers to file the paperwork within 30 days of sale. Bogus. I am expecting to receive a bill for the late fee and 10% extra tax for being late. Better not. Am still waiting for title and registration sticker. Cant even drag my trailer anywhere still. Going to file a complaint with TxDMV. read more

I have owned my 2020 Zinger for a week now. I can't even talk about the things wrong with it. The things I found during the walk thru were not touched or repaired. The closet collapsed and ripped out then popped a hole into the other side. Missing shelves and the total disregard to customers. The day the sale is final.... THATS IT. What a crappy service department. I brought my Crossroads Cruiser Aire in for warranty work, because Fun Town, where I bought the camper, had a 3 month wait just to get the camper in. These guys said they could get it in in 2 weeks, so I brought it to them. Turns out, they took over 3 months to get the simple warranty work completed. This place was a JOKE! I bought their top of the line backup camera system, had them do extra out of warranty work on it, and it was a mess. When I finally go to pick up my camper, the battery was completely dead, all the tires were only aired up half way, the backup camera system wasn't working right, and the camper was a total mess on the outside from the roof work they did. They didnt even pressure wash the stuff off of it, and now there's stains coming down the front cap which I haven't been able to get off. They are a joke, the service completed was sub-par, and they lied about the time it would take to fix. I'm never coming back here! read more

We've purchased twice from Blue Compass and our salesperson has been great both times - 4 stars. However, Blue Compass fails when it comes to the service department. Do not purchase a used RV from them, they will not clean it, service or inspect before selling and dealing with the service department is a total disappointment. I would suggest to not purchase their service plan so that you have the option of going elsewhere. I've had my RV for two months and it's been in service 3 times for a total of 4 weeks and each time we've suggested a different advisor and each time they promise it will be better. While trying to sell you, they promise the moon, but 3 days after buying, they have no interest in helping solve issues. This location had a VERY large selection of campers. They had a very good selection of 5th wheels! They had many different makes with various floor plans. Other reviewers give them a poor rating and I can't really judge this location as I was just "looking" at campers and didn't actually make a purchase or need any service. We were not bothered by any salespeople while browsing the different RVs. I'm not sure if this was on purpose or because of lack of staff? Absolutely extraordinary! From the sales personnel to service department, they were thorough and very helpful. We saw a Beacon 5th wheel elsewhere in a different floor plan than we wanted. We located the floor plan we wanted online at ExploreUSA Dallas and contacted them. Sight unseen they gave us a good price for the Beacon and a good offer for our trade-in. They arranged the financing to include negotiating a lower interest rate. All the paperwork was done before our arrival. On arrival they parked our trailer next to the Beacon to facilitate our move into it and then installed additional equipment such as a generator and vent covers as we moved our stuff. This place will not disclose everything to you and manager is a real rude individual and told me to get off the property only because I asked why my brand new trailer I bought from them the year before depreciated over 20k . I was told it was a luxury tax !!! So they made 20k off people buying a travel trailer . I personally wouldn't have bought that trailer if I knew that they were that dishonest . So folks do your research and shop around unless you have 20k to just blow and want to be that far upside down on anything they have to offer !!!! This is best part ! !! I told a customer about what they told me he thanked me and the manager came running out getting onto me only because I told the gentleman what they just told me and he yelled at the customer leaving to not listen to me I was running off his customer more like his next mark is more like it !! read more

We purchased a new Heartland Torque Toy Hauler Dec 28, 2018. When we picked it up to go out of town after Christmas for 2 days over New Years y'all let us know there was a small wallpaper seam that needed a small piece of wallpaper. Y'all said you already had it on order and to just bring the Toy Hauler back when we got back in town the next week. We were also told us to make a list of anything we noticed that needed to be fixed and you would take care of it when you did the small wallpaper seam. That sounded simple enough. Everyone was very nice. The first week of January we brought it back. We had the unit for less than a week. Dropped it off with our little list of fixes needed. It took over 4 months for us to get the Toy Hauler back. Then when we got it back you still had not fixed everything. We thought ok we will take it back after we use it that weekend. We were just gonna suck it up and deal with it. A little frustrated after 4 months everything still wasn't fixed. We turned on the unit to make sure it was good to run for dry camping but the breaker kept flipping off. So no camping for us that weekend. Just like we had not been able to do for 4 months. Back it went to you at ExploreUSA in Mesquite. We are now at May 23nd got the unit back yesterday. The breaker is fixed which is great but alas all the other little items are still not fixed. The free standing table where the legs fold under wasn't fixed or replaced. Not the one with the poles that slip into place.. just a simple free standing table.. one of the legs won't lock. We told y'all this the 1st week of Jan. We could not use it because it won't stand up. You would think that in 5 months time you could get a new table. I took the table up to you last night and asked if you could just simply switch out the table with another one on their lot then just replace that one. When I spoke to Heartland this morning they said switching out the table is your call. It seems like a common sense simple fix. Since I've given you $40,000 I thought that would be simple enough. A simple free standing table. This morning I called out to Heartland myself and spoke to Britney in the parts dept who looked up our Toy Hauler. I was told you just ordered the table and light strip for our unit less than a week ago on May 17th. Why have you waited 5 months to order this table I would love to know. Y'all were fast to take our $40,000 but extremely slow for any fixes. The last thing I want is to have a problem with a place we are going to have to go to for fixes for years to come but y'all seem to not want to help us once we made the purchase. Everyone is very nice as far not talking short or ugly to us but the problems are taking too long to get fixed. I would like to get a good answer as to why you waited almost half a year to even order the simple table. Surely you can understand my frustration. The reason I'm emailing you is because I just flipped over your business card and it has your Mission Statement. To provide our customers with professional sales and support and TIMELY SERVICE required to earn their loyalty and repeat business. Needed a toy hauler for my motorcycle and ATV. I did my research online ahead of time and visited a few RV stores along I-30. I didn't want to go all out with a big fifth wheel because it wasn't in my budget and it's a little overkill for a weekend warrior like myself. Chad helped me find a tongue pull to fit my needs, but let me just say that this place has everything you could imagine and then some. I also worked with the General Manager Tracy, who was able to get me show pricing (even though the show had just ended) and special finance incentives to get my rate down. My payment ended up being much lower than I expected. The process was fast and easy, the same guy that showed me around (Chad) is the one that did my paperwork. They took a few days to go through the trailer and make sure it was road ready before I picked it up. Bobby did a walkthrough with me and answered all my questions, I almost feel like I could sell this trailer myself now with everything that I've learned LOL! All said and done I got an awesome Z-1 toy hauler and spent less than I originally planned. I will definitely be back to see Chad and Tracy if I ever decide to upgrade to that 5th wheel! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM EXPLOREUSA "New" might just have hidden water damage and you are stuck with it. We purchased a new 2018 Cyclone from ExploreUSA. Discovered a leak 6 days after picking it up. When we took it back they found the leak and also determined that the damage was there previous to our purchase. ExploreUSA will not exchange the trailer nor will they give us our money back. They want our brand new trailer to be in the shop for who knows how long and many days to come. I wouldn't buy a trailer from ExploreUSA. read more

Customer service from salesman, Dave, was outstanding. He gave his personal cell phone and answered even on Sunday, when he wasn't working. Dave was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and did everything possible to help us with everything. 5 stars for Dave. Now the service department is a different story. When delivered 2 of 3 propane tank valves were defective and included vaccum was missing, took almost 2 months to get the items. I have called and talked to Dustin about a few issues since and have been told he needed to check on somethings and he would call me back but doesn't for a week or more until I call him back. Still doesn't have the answers half the time. 1 star because negative 3 isn't available. Might buy from them but do NOT take the service contract and pray you never have to get service from them ever! read more

We bought a Cyclone Toy Hauler (5th Wheel) for Explore USA at the end of May. When we picked it up and got it home and went in to look at everything, our TV in the living area was no longer attached to the wall. We were told we could bring it back but we had already planned a trip leaving the next day, So we fixed the TV ourselves. Once we arrived at our destination, we planned a movie night with the kids, expecting our DVD player to work, but nope...didn't work. It was wired incorrectly. The TV in the garage area was replace with an off brand TV from Best Buy and quite few things were not completed. However, when got from our trip we were told to bring the trailer in and they would fix everything that we found wrong with the trailer. On my list was numerous things to include no carpet or ladder for the back bunk. When we brought it in we were told that the trailer does not come with carpet or a ladder. But that is not what we were told at time of purchase. We specifically asked if the carpet and ladder were included and we were told yes they were. Maybe not a major issue for most, but we have younger children that cannot get in the bunk or out of the bunk without assistance. Though the back has a full bath for them to utilize, I must get up in the middle of the night to assist them getting off the bunk in order to use the restroom. And then there is the no carpet in the back that we were told came with the trailer. But now are being told its does not. Makes the play area for the kids on rainy days pretty miserable. And maybe (but I'm not) I could be ok with all of this if it had been just any salesman that told us this, but it was the sales manager. NOT a happy camper...would not recommend... read more

My experience with Explore USA, Mesquite, TX is excellent. I gave 4 stars because there is always room for growth; however, my specific dealings has been ordering parts and working with Ryan Hawkins in the Service Department. Ryan is extremely polite and follows up with phone calls and emails. Justin in the Parts Department is the same way. When I picked up new support bars for my stabilizer jacks, two other employees were hanging around and all three joined in answering my question dealing with the replacement. This is my third experience and visit with the parts and service department. They are outstanding. Let me make a comment on the negative comments. Everyone should know one should do their homework on the best price to expect whether it is a camper or a car. Everyone should realize there is an instant depreciation when the camper or car is purchased and driven off the dealership premises. You must be armed with knowledge and understand what you are purchasing. Explore USA is the only place I visited that did not hound me while I was shopping. Yes, everything will not be perfect in the purchase process, but that is life. read more

Best lot we visited. I went to multiple dealerships (holiday world, mcclain, camping world, and fun town) and these were the most laid back and least "salesy" staff (Skip was awesome!) we encountered. They let us walk the whole lot without hounding us for questions or hovering or asking for our contact info first. We spent an hour walking in all the different Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels getting a good sense of what we wanted to buy without anyone bothering us until we were ready. They leave all of the units unlocked which is awesome. We also price shopped the North Trail we bought at two other locations and they came in at $1350 less than one and $900 less than the other dealerships on their first quote. They told us they are the second largest RV dealer in Texas and move enough volume to where they cannot be beat on price. I haven't had any experience with the service side yet and hopefully I don't need too. read more

A few months back we bought a trailer from another dealer and realized, we need bigger...We stopped in here to check out some travel trailers. We left our information for a sales rep that had helped our friends buy theirs when he quoted us too high of a price for the v-lite we were considering purchasing...on our way out I stated that the price was four thousand more than what our friend paid and to have the guy call us back. The other sales people were gathered around and heard us talking. We are both very calm people, so at no point were we condescending our rude. This hot headed sales guy, whom we were not even dealing with, argued with us that or friends DID NOT pay that amount and that he can prove it by pulling his file, basically calling us liars. We were a few hundred off, but essentially correct. They lost two sales today because our friends, who were also wanting to buy, walked out when they witnessed this as well. The people do not seem knowledgeable and I would not recommend this this place! read more

If I could give no stars believe me I would. Found an RV online that we liked, went to our own personal bank and got the loan. Chase insisted we needed to come up there to sign the papers so they did not sell the unit. We went and signed the papers, our bank sent the guarantee of funds waiting for the paperwork to be sent to them for the funding. No paperwork sent. Come to find out they sold us a RV they do not even have the title to. They are holding our unit hostage pending the title from the previous lien holder. We will have the deal done now for a week and no unit. We were told it would be 5 days for them to service the unit and so on and we could pick it up by Wednesday as in tomorrow, now we are being told we cannot get the unit until they have the title, then they compete the paperwork and then our bank gives them the check. What the what??? Horrible customer service. They could careless about their customers. Hope, our bank can get us out of this deal since Explore USA does not even own the RV they sold u read more

Purchased a used 5th wheel, first time buyers. We purchased this coach for full time living while we build our house. The sales team was good and did their best to keep us informed. After a few hiccups we were finally able to do our walk through and found a few minor things that needed attention. We were informed by the service department that they would be fixed before we picked our coach up in a few days. When we picked up the coach it was late on a Friday and service was closed but we had made arrangements and were able to hook up and go basically. Got the unit set up and found that none of the issues had been fixed. Called first thing Monday and they informed us we would have to get the unit back to them and they would get scheduled in. Took us a few weeks to get set up with temporary living arrangements and drop off coach. We dropped coach off 8/27/18, it is now 10/4/2018 and after repeated calls and lies they have not even completed tests for the extended warranty company so that approval can be given and parts ordered. Reached out to Mike the general manager who told me he would personally look into the matter but explained they were super busy. I reminded him this unit was our home and I was trying to be patient but was getting outta hand with the length of time without even ordering parts. He assured me he would look into it and call me back, never heard back from him at all. We have been told 3 times since that there is only one test left to perform and unit would be looked at by the end of the day that was 2 weeks ago and still has not been done. If you buy from this place your on your own if it ever needs service. I will never take my coach back to them for service! I will go directly through my extended warranty company and find another dealer to take my coach to if I ever need anything done in the future, pending I get my coach back before the 3 year warranty expires. read more
