Dang Came here to check out a Mercedes just to make a switch from a BMW i7 2023 to an AMG Mercedes 2019 and watched as this 6ft 2 jerk tell my partner he couldn't even test drive the car before his credit pulled and assumed we couldn't afford it because we were swapping a 97k to a 60k worth car. He said well I don't know your situation and I'm not wasting my time if you can't afford it?!?!? First of all screw you. You had the Mercedes since March. You have no idea why we were swapping this car out. If you work in sells then you surely wouldn't go through all the paperwork before you test drove it! And he even got the info he asked for, where we couldn't pay it down and not even roll over negative equity! Still you wouldn't let a test drive happen before we said yes or no that this was the specific Mercedes we wanted. Professional courtesy is lost and when someone tells you they are an attorney and know what they are talking about and can buy the car and then some down to it's worth then you take the ID scan it and we test drive it! I told my partner this place looked like a bed idea anyone who profiles and has cars with not one other buyer on the lot should take the deals your given cause you only worked your attitude and mouth to the point no matter what car ends up on your lot we won't return unless management takes a healthy step and removes you from your position. I purchased my 2020 Mercedes AMG GT 53 from Ride N Drive about a month ago, and since then, I've had continuous issues with the vehicle. The check engine light has come on three separate times. The first time, I took it to the auto shop recommended by Ride N Drive, where they diagnosed and replaced a faulty oxygen sensor. Just two days later, the check engine light came on again. After a diagnostic, the light turned off on its own, and no repair was made. Shortly after, Moose--the salesperson who sold me the car--called to say this situation is exactly why I should have purchased the electrical warranty they offered. Now, for the third time, the check engine light has returned. I brought the vehicle back to the same shop, and this time the issue is with the 48V hybrid battery. Interestingly, the battery issue was noted during the second visit as well, but I was told no repairs could be done without Ride N Drive's approval. Now, I'm being told I there is a possibility I have to put in a brand-new hybrid battery, which are very expensive! Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Ride N Drive. Yes, I had driven 1000 miles on the car. However the second check engine light came on 9 days after I purchased the car after the first check engine light. I brought it to the auto shop and they said they couldn't do anything about it until it comes on again. In October my wife and I stopped in to checkout a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I had seen online. We had shopped major dealers and person to person options but had not found what we were looking for. I bought a Mercedes SL550 from RideNDrive but with little or no help from them. Salespeople were unresponsive, seldom returned phone calls or emails, either refused or gave or gave vague answers to questions about the car. Two videos hid problems with the car - at least one accident and one minor fender bender. The whole front nose of the car is out of alignment with the hood and fenders. The windshield has a hole in it, not just a ding, also not disclosed. The car had not been serviced like they said. It arrived filthy inside and out. It took them 2 weeks to get the car picked up by the shipper. Worst problem was it arrived with only one keyless-go key and they blamed it on me, said I lost it, even though they didn't even send it to me 2000 miles away. A Mercedes key replacement is $900 and so far they have refused to reimburse me for the cost of the key, the expense of driving 500 miles round trip to the dealer, gas and other expenses. Nobody admits to being in charge, nobody will give their last name, phone number, or email address. Only because I wanted that exact car did I put up with their pathetic service. Brittany the sales person knows nothing about cars, probably couldn't spell car if you tell her the first two letters. Jay the sales manager is a real jerk, totally anti-customer, who hung up on me twice. John the so-called manager is an arrogant liar who has told me 6 times now "the check is in the mail". When it came time to look for a Mercedes SL550, which my wife wanted, we found by far the best deal in Dallas with the Ride N Drive dealer there. Because most of the cars I purchase are bought personally unseen, I have to be very, very careful of the source. After studying the nationwide market and reputations, I chose RND and have never regretted it. When I called about an SL they had, I was connected with their internet sale manager, Brice Suggs who was excellent, knowledgeable, and "went the extra mile" more than one time to make our deal work. This company does shady business. I went through the process of purchasing a Mercedes Benz E450 from out of state via one of their sales people Michelle J. She was completely inexperienced selling cars and knew absolutely nothing about how sales transactions happen at the dealership. After receiving and signing the quote early this morning that she sent me, I specifically asked her if I needed to put a deposit on the car prior to them bringing the car to a local auto shop for a pre-purchase inspection and she said no. She told me all I had to do was sign and return the quote and schedule the pre-purchase inspection with the auto shop, which I did and scheduled the inspection for the next day. At around 5:pm I even confirmed that everything was in order and asked her to let me know as soon as they completed the inspection the next day and she replied of course. Less than two hours later I get a text from her telling me the car was sold. When I called to speak with the manager, Jon, he confirmed that the car was sold. He acknowledged that the sales person screwed up but that there was nothing he could do because somebody else had already signed paperwork and sent funds. I asked him why had no one contacted me first to ask me to put a deposit subject to an inspection since I had already signed their quote and again he said they messed up. There is no excuse for this monumental screw up because I was buying the car cash and didn't need any financing and definitely had funds available to put a deposit. These guys sent me a amg mercedes with one key, after i was told their was 2 keys. The 2 front rims have been cracked and welded, now leaking air. the car arrived with 2 low air sensors on. i sent them my 2016 amg gle s63, with 2 keys, perfect wheels, with tires i just purchaesd recently. i called the dealership, hoping to have this handled easily, especially since were dealing with high dollard cars. To my surprise, i told the salesman, and he said he would call me back. I never got a return call, i've been getting sent to voicemail, and i received a text telling me to file a claim with the warranty company, and they would get me a key. I have purchased a set of wheels, and 2 tires. i emailed the receipt to them, only to be ignored. WOW!!! This is hilarious, I spoke with the warmers ty company and they were paid by Ride n drive shortly after my initial complaint... Then... this is what I was told... the warranty company received a cancellation and refunded ride and drive on 1/15/2020 for my warranty. How did my warranty get cancelled without my signature (I did not fill out any paperwork)... Yet ride and drive was issued my refund check and I still have yet to hear from them... What do you think? If I could give a lower review then one star I would. Much like I have read so far here my transactions went fairly well... I even bought a fake extended warranty. Let me explain I paid nearly $5000 for a warranty and tried to use it only to find out that the warranty company had never received the funds from ride n Drive. When I called multiple times the the store manager he kept telling me he would take care of it and look into it... again the warranty was not funded but my bank paid by Ride n Drive for the purchase and warranty... I will now sue ride n drive for unjust enrichment as they effectively stole my warranty payment. This is a sham because I've given them several months to remedy this. I would say you should make sure to have your car inspected thoroughly, get a car fax and history inn the vehicle and think twice about what you're paying for and make sure the money gets to the "warranty company"... I will definitely purchase another vehicle from this company. The actual buying experience was awesome. I was completely satisfied with my 2004 Mercedes SL500. They are friendly and empathetic. I even had a small issue with the car and they made sure I was taken care of. Only one issue.. I partially financed the car through ride n drive and they use a company called Westlake Financial... do not use this financial company. They are horrible and destroyed the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had decided to payoff the car rather than deal with Westlake Financial. Westlake Financial was calling me daily asking for thier payment, I stated that I was just going to payoff the car instead of dealing with them. I told them I mailed the check and they said it takes 7 to 10 business days and I said good call me on the 11th day if you have not recieved payment. They continued to call me daily. I FINALLY got frustrated and said Dont call me again and hung up. I can only assume I pissed off the caller as he then processed my car to be repossessed. I bought a nice higher end car from them (CTS V). The transaction started off very well and everything was done over the phone. The young lady I dealt with was very nice and I felt confident with my several calls, so I decided to purchase the vehicle. The car was delivered in a timely manner but that's when it got a little ugly. The car was extremely dirty. No biggie, I just got it cleaned up. Then I noticed that all four tires were completely worn to the metal. That ended up costing me $1500. During that visit the tech told me the brakes were completely worn out, another $600. I called to talk to the manager at Ride N Drive and they never called me back. They claim they do inspections on the cars, but I find that very hard to believe. A few days later I started noticing weird electrical issues. I took it to the Cadillac dealer and they said there must of been a "Critter" living up under the dash. Wires were torn and eaten. That is costing me $1800. Car is still in the shop and the manager from Ride N Drive has not called me back after several attempts to reach him. Be very cautious when purchasing from this dealer. I am located out of state and was supposed to be buying a 2015 Subaru BRZ from this dealership. All week i had been going back and forth with an employee named Mitch. He told me that due to the Coronavirus, all prices were list price only, even though I had a TrueCar offer that showed less. FINE. He sent me a buyers order and i forwarded it to my credit union. I asked him his opinion of the car, and he stated I could have an inspection done at a shop in their town for $119. I paid for an inspection and it came back that the car has leaky, failed shocks/struts and these would need to be replaced, with a total estimate of over $1,000 including labor. I sent the "salesman" this estimate and he replied that he can take $300 off the cost of the car, and also sent me a link to buy the parts I needed for $165. I ordered the parts. The "salesman" then sent me a text asking if I had received his offer to take $300 off the price. Due to work and travel, I was able to reply only THREE HOURS later that yes I accept, and for him to send me an updated buyers order. I never heard from him again. I had to find out from my credit union that he sold the car within the 3 hours of him texting me and my reply, EVEN after I paid for an inspection and even after he had already sent me a first buyers order. Needless to say, the "salesman" was only out to make $300 more as I'm sure he did not tell the buyer the shocks needed to be replaced. I'm sure this place has good employees but this guy is NOT one of them. I'm out the cost of the inspection and also the parts...I only hope the parts store will let me return them. Word to wise, do an inspection before you buy from this guy, and heaven forbid you take 3 hours to reply to their text or else they will sell the car right from under you. Did they do anything illegal...no. But geez their business ethics are lacking in a big way. read more

Romeo, Nex and Mike made my car purchase process very easy. They were available when they said they would be, incredibly easy to contact, and answered all of my many questions about the vehicle. I appreciated their straightforwardness and the overall hassle-free experience when I was buying my car. Note: This review was posted in exchange for a free tank of gas. Edit: A few things I would like to point out: 1. When I was test driving the car, I specifically asked if the car was price + TTL, and I asked if there were any dealership fees. I was told that there weren't. Turns out this is false. 2. I was told I could pay the remainder of the amount I owed via debit card, and that my license plates and registration would be ready that same day (as I didn't want to drive all the way to Garland again twice). Again, false. They let me wire money through Bank of America (after driving to my bank first to get another cashiers check), but can't begin the process of going to the DMV until I paid in full. Wouldn't have bothered me if I was just told this up front. 3. Was specifically told that they wouldn't lose my business due to price. Had to walk away the first time because they wouldn't go down $500 more (to be fair, it was a great price for the car). After taking the car to be inspected, it turns out the car needed new tires, new rear brake pads, new windshield wipers, and a new battery (so $1000+ of repairs). When they asked what would make me happy, I told them new tires, 2 new tires, or a even new battery. They ended up putting windshield wipers on (which saved me only $65). Again, just don't ask what would make me happy if you won't work with me about the repairs it needed. Basically, many "miscommunications". I'm extremely happy with my car and the price that it was eventually sold at, but they aren't worried about your customer satisfaction if there is anyone else looking to purchase the car. read more

I purchased 2015 Subaru WRX STI Limited from RIde-N-Drive in November for my husband as a retirement gift after serving in the Air Force for 23 years. My husband saw the advertisement for the car on CarGurus and from all appearances looked clean and well maintained. The description was very vague and I called and was dealing with a salesman named Anthony. I asked for a discount since I live in Colorado and website guarantees a free warranty and 2 year maintenance. I knew I would be unable to take advantage of the oil changes due to the distance, but I was told the warranty would still apply to the vehicle despite the fact that I lived in another state. So I paid asking price and paid and arranged for the vehicle to be transported. Vehicle arrived Dec 3,2018 and was missing trim piece on driver's side roof and the SD card in stereo, which without will not even allow the unit to work at all. So my husband notified Luna at the dealership and was told we would be taken care of. Upon further inspection of the vehicle we noticed the car was heavily modified. Many parts that were not original Subaru parts that were not visible or disclosed in ad. I did ask Anthony what the car had several times and was told he was not sure but he would get back to me. Basically I was told that the car had some security dots that I was going to be charged $299 for. I did not want this, but he insisted that all their cars had this feature and it was not negotiable. When I got the car I noticed it had goop that contained supposedly tracking "dots" on various places and pieces all over the car. The installation of these security dots was very sloppy and not professional at all. It looked like someone had smeared glue all over where it was installed. I am not sure who tracks this, but I did not want this. It was slimed all over the car, and I felt like they just added it to take money from me. After receiving car, I did not drive it because I noticed it had a Cobb accessport tune on it that said "Ride-N-Drive". I was hesitant to drive the car without first finding out what all this car had done to it. I wanted to take it to a local shop to find out more about the car. I drove the car to work in the morning (approximately 5 miles from my home ) and when I was finished with work and tried to start it, it started and then shut off. This was on December 28,2018. The battery appeared low, so I bought a new battery. Still would not start. Had to get vehicle towed to my home. I notified Anthony at dealership, that vehicle was not starting. I ended up having to take vehicle to a Subaru specialist who informed me that whom ever put these aftermarket parts on the car, didn't build the car correctly. It is going to cost over 6K, just to get the car running again. I have spoken to the manager of Ride-N-Drive and he said he would get back to me. I have called 5 times now and no call back. The warranty on the website is bogus. The customer service is negligent. I am now stuck with a car that I have made one payment on that is in the shop and the dealership won't even call me back. I just want them to fix the car. I have provided them with a quote from the repair shop like they asked where it states that it was not anything that I did to the car. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life and I have no idea how I am going to pay for repairs on a car I haven't even driven. Buyer beware. There is no warranty as stated on the website. Bought a 2012 Audi Q5 from the dealership, after 3 days of owning said vehicle the oil light came on. They said they just received the car 3 days prior and probably didn't get to check it. So I went and got the oil changed. Week later oil light back own. Now I take it back and top it off, 6 hours later back on. Take it to there shop and spent $260 on what they thought was wrong. They installed the piece wrong but also didn't fix the issue. Turned out it need all new pistons and piston rings and a header. With labor and parts would count $3500. Was put on a new warranty that did nothing and ride n drive wouldn't buy the car back or fix the issue. I was stuck with the car that I bought from a "reputable" dealer.
