BAIT AND SWITCH SCAMMERS!!! My fiancé took time off of his work today to go look at a 2022 Nissan Kicks listed at $14,499 and drove an hour to go see it. He got there and test drove the car, and then decided that he was going to purchase it. AFTER applying for the loan and getting approved, they came in and said that actually they were going to charge about $18,000 for it due to work that they did on it last month. Apparently the GM "forgot" to update the price. That very clearly is not what happened. When my fiancé inquired about the car they had every opportunity to say that the price was incorrect, but they chose not to because they hoped that he would be desperate enough to agree to their scam. And as of right now the price on the car is still the same! So very clearly this is intentional. And even if they somehow "forgot" then the GM is too stupid to have that position and they need to be fired and replaced with someone more competent. And if they were an honest company they would have honored the advertised price. So do not waste your time with this dishonorable scam of a business! I went to this dealership for a routine oil change and left with serious doubts about their service and professionalism. After receiving the service sticker, I drove less than 3,000 miles before getting an alert that my oil needed to be changed again. This made me question whether the oil had even been changed or if enough oil was put in at all. When I returned to the dealership to address the issue, I was told they would simply reset my oil notification without inspecting my car or offering any compensation--not even a complimentary oil change. The manager himself reset the light without checking the oil. An employee even admitted that "this happens all the time," which is unacceptable and concerning for a dealership that should be known for quality service. If the technicians cannot or will not perform their jobs correctly, why should customers trust this location with their vehicles? Instead of accountability and customer service, I was met with excuses and dismissal. Now I have to spend additional money elsewhere to correct a problem that should have been resolved properly here. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Trophy Nissan during my recent visit for a basic oil change on my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. I brought my vehicle in, running perfectly fine, for what should have been a routine service. Instead, this experience turned into a nightmare. After waiting an hour and a half despite having an appointment, I was told my back brakes and filter needed to be replaced. I declined these additional services and received my vehicle back. However, shortly after driving it on the highway, my car shut off completely. Thankfully, I was able to pull over safely. When I contacted the dealership, I was told they could not assist unless I had the car towed to them. I arranged for towing the next morning at my expense. After inspecting the vehicle, the dealership claimed the issue was due to a dirty filter and initially quoted me $1,000 for repairs. The manager later reduced this to $500. Despite my disagreement, I paid to have the issue resolved. After picking up my vehicle the following day, I encountered the same problem, now with additional warning lights (traffic control and check engine lights). When I returned to the dealership, the technician admitted it might be a major issue and said they would work with my warranty to cover the repair, as I was a couple of months out of warranty. The part needed was out of stock, leaving me without a car for over three weeks. When I requested a rental vehicle, I was told it would not be covered under the warranty. This has been the worst service experience I have ever had. My car was in perfect working condition when I brought it in for a $70 oil change. Now, I am out $500 for a repair I believe was caused by mishandling during the service. I've also incurred additional costs for towing and a rental car, not to mention the inconvenience of being without my vehicle for nearly a month. To make matters worse, I suspect that the filter was damaged intentionally during service to justify recommending its replacement. The dealership denied this and claimed the filter was bound to cause issues eventually, but this explanation does not sit well with me. This was my first experience at Trophy Nissan, and it will certainly be my last. The customer service was terrible, and the lack of accountability and support from the dealership has been appalling. Then a week later, I discovered the windshield wiper reservoir was cracked because of the accident that caused the vehicle to be uncertified. Zero stars, absolutely terrible service and experience! Avoid the service department at all cost. I had my car towed in for a diagnostic for acceleration problems as well as a squealing sound in the engine. I was told it would be 3-4 days until I had a diagnostic, but it took 6 days. They explained there were no codes and they did an update. When I got into the car the gas was at zero when I'm sure it had several bars on the gauge before towing into the shop. I contacted the service advisor Marvin G. and he replied back stating it's not their responsibility to put gas in the car unless they test drive the car. Wow! I could understand it not being their responsibility, but as a courtesy it would not be asking too much for a company like Nissan to throw a gallon of gas in the car to assure I don't run out of gas, at a minimum let me know it's on empty so I could bring some gas, zero care given. Now I'm in disbelief they didn't even test drive the car since they stated there were no codes stored in the system computer, so apparently they have zero troubleshooting skills/experience and won't take any other steps to troubleshoot the problem. As soon as I left the parking lot my car had both symptoms I had brought it in for, very obvious conditions. So after the service advisor said it's not their responsibility to put gas in the car unless they test drive it, he also said I declined to diagnose the car which is completely false. He asked me if one of the technicians could drive it one hour to their home, keep it overnight and bring it back the next day. I did not feel comfortable with that, and I already had explained to them in great detail what the symptoms were, all they would've had to do is take it for a little test drive around the service department if they wanted to see for themselves. Then he told me no refund and to have a wonderful day. It sounded very condescending and disrespectful. Not one word of, I understand sir, I apologize sir, let's get it taken care of, here's a refund, can you bring it back in, nothing, just basically blamed it on me and said have a wonderful day, the disrespect is astonishing. Then I answered back, asking his title and name, but he never responded, so I ended up just getting it off the paperwork. He claimed the service manager would be giving me a call yesterday, but that never happened either. So I was without a car for six days, had to pay $199 and got no diagnostic, nothing. Basically I paid $199 to be inconvenience for 6 days, paid for the tow and disrespect. I'm guessing if the car doesn't produce a code the technicians there have no idea how to actually troubleshoot. I'm positive the squealing sound is probably a pulley/ belt and something like that would not have a sensor to produce a code, it would require a little bit of effort and troubleshooting. It would also require caring for your customers. Who has $199 to throw out the window nowadays. A huge company like Nissan and they can't even refund me my $199 for failing to diagnose the problem, failing to fix the problem and disrespecting me. Absolutely worthless. They're incompetent and disrespectful. I will be escalating this to the general manager, owner and corporate, to the highest level possible. I have a huge network around here too, and I will be spreading the word as much as possible how horrible this company is. If I was the manager reading this review I would definitely consider firing that service advisor after the way he disrespected me. I'm sure I'm not the only one, he definitely doesn't have the mind control/temperament to be in a customer service position like that. Fraud, fraud, fraud. Stay away from Trophy Nissan. I had a VERY bad experience with Trophy Nissan. I dropped my SUV off with rear corner small damage including rear light damage. (Picture attached) First, they quoted 6k and the insurance approved. They noticed the insurance is good insurance so they revised the quote to 12k after a few days. I questioned them and tried to move the SUV out to some other place. But the Trophy Nissan guy (Mr. Dustin) wanted to see me and he kept asking me a lot of questions. He said that I need to pay nearly 500 dollars and need to tow the SUV. It was not true, he was telling me a lie. My SUV was perfectly alright and there was no need to tow it at all. Finally, I agreed to go with them. But I did a big mistake and I shouldn't have agreed. I was thinking later on that I should've paid and taken it away from them. They took 52 days to complete my SUV. It was a horrible horrible service. Finally, they invoiced 16k. Wow, from $6000 to $12000 then $16000. For a small corner damage???? Since I am an aviation mechanical company employee and technician, I can easily say that my SUV had a small damage and I can say that it would be less than 5k to repair it. I got the SUV back with very dirty conditions inside & outside and I questioned them and showed them. He said he can take it back and clean it. I told him I don't have time because I have to go to work. Be careful with Trophy Nissan. They are a big fraud and they are not straight forward guys. Don't go there at all, believe me. The service department is always so busy that unlike other Nissan service dealers, this one is more like a drive-thru service. The service rep tried their best to keep the customers happy. I brought in my EV (electric vehicle) for service because it didn't start with a programmed preventive immobilized shut down after it detected an electrical system fault (to prevent further damage to other battery cells). It happened on a Saturday morning. They said they don't do diagnostics on Saturday and I've to wait until Tuesday for them to get an EV certified technician to work on it. And they didn't have any loaner cars available and instructed me to go across the street where their body shop is to get a rental car from Enterprise Rent-a-car. When I went there, the body shop said the rental cars are closed on Saturday. I had to get a rental car from Dallas, luckily they offered a Lyft ride to the rental. Then by Thursday, they finally figured out the diagnostics and required to replace some of the battery cells that went bad. Luckily they are still under the factory 100,000 miles warranty. But they estimate it may take a month to order the parts. By this time, I'm so annoyed having to pay for my own rental car when I could have a free loaner car if I do the repair at another Nissan dealer, and told them I'm going to tow my car to Lewisville Nissan to fix it. They then found a truck as a loaner car for me instead after I said the tow truck is coming. So at least they did something for a loaner car so I don't have to pay for a rental car for a month while they wait for the parts to come. But their king cab truck sucks gas so bad that I paid $50 a day to drive it, more than the rental cost. And it had issues with warning dash light coming on. So I brought it back and they swap it with a better gas economy loaner car for me finally. I hate trucks and it's so big that it's next to impossible to get out of any parking spot. Luckily, it had rear view cameras and parking sensors to warn me not to back into other cars. So it seems they are trying but swamped with so many repairs that they could keep up with offering standard service that's expected of a Nissan dealer. read more

I had my car serviced in May, oil changed and tires rotated. I have had this car for over a year and never had any problems with the tires or hubcaps until I had my tires rotated. All of a sudden I'm driving down the street and i hear my hubcap rolling across the street. i was able to stop and get it. I had someone to put it back on. Then it was gone again, this time I don't know where it came off. I haven't had an accident and again, no problems until I had my tires rotated. Bought a 2015 Hyundai (for my daughter) from Trophy Nissa Mesquite used car lot around 130,000 miles. Sales team was great, car was what we expected. No issues. Part of the deal was a 2 year free oil change. This is where the problem is. They scheduled 1st oil change. My daughter shows up and they change oil and the proceed to show her all the problems of the car we just bought from them and why they need to be fixed immediately. My wife thinks she is driving around in a death trap now. This is a 10 year old car with 135k, the issues are minor and didn't require immediate fixing. I realize that the free oil change program is a way to try and get some people to pay for repairs. Fair enough, we get an oil change, they try to get us to fix some stuff we say no thanks, I spend the day telling my wife the car is not a death trap. Next, they set up another appointment 7am this morning. I accept, my daughter drives 45 minutes (full disclosure she was 15 minutes late). They tell her that it is 2 years or 107k miles and that she is over the mileage. Which means she was over the mileage when we bought the car? So the oil change isn't covered. Oh by the way we don't have a filter that fits that car so it will be 3 hours till we can get one. Keep in mind, they set up the appointment knowing what kind of car it is. Why would you not have a filter? My opinion: They didn't think we would pay out for repairs, my daughter is young and they really just didn't want to do a free oil change on an older car. I didn't call the manager, just marking it down as lesson learned. Wasted 90 minutes drive time, realized they are not serious people--they scheduled the appointment but they don't have the proper filter--gave me free oil changes for 2 years that was apparently already void due to the mileage we bought the car at? Just be aware the free oil change is just to get you in to buy other services that have to be done "right away". I imagine if you buy a new car it is fine but a used car you my as well trade the free oil changes for 2 years for 35 bucks because I got one oil change out of it and my wife thinking we bought a death trap. read more

if I could give 0 stars I would. I was quoted a price to replace my ECM and was told this would fix my car. They replaced the ECM, 03/24/2022 and told me that the car was ready. My car still have THE SAME ISSUE. I had to get towed back to the shop. The communication between me and Danny Slatinsky, Assistant Serivice Manager, was unacceptable. I had to call frequently about the status of my repair. They eventually called me and said replacing the ECM did not fix the problem to supposedly fix the issue after the problem was allegedly fixed before. Their diagnostic test found everything allegedly wrong with the car but the recall & this "electrical issue". I brought my car to the dealership shop because I believed they would be better than just any regular shop, worst mistake ever. I will definitely not be back and will be telling everyone I know not to do business with them. Also, I purchased a battery from them 10/12/2023. It stopped on me twice. I had to have it towed to them the same day. I CALLED DANNY SLATINSKY, ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER, ON FRIDAY, 10/13/2023, AND TOLD HIM WANT HAPPEN. Worst experience ! I am very disappointed with my service experience. I dropped my car off with my regular service advisor, Jose Garcia. ( He is the best) on Tuesday due to my car's camera messing up. I received a rental car for the time being until it got fixed. The car given to me was a 2025 nissan kicks. I drove the car from the dealership straight home which is only 7 minutes away. I woke up Wednesday morning to use the vehicle and noticed it had a flat tire with a huge nail in it. I called trophy nissan service and was told I had to fix it and bring it to them and that they would not send anyone to help. I then let Jose Garcia know and he goes above and beyond for me and helps me get into contact with roadside assistance who later comes and towed my car back to the dealership. Upon arrival there I was met with Michael Conley which then provided me a $200 estimate to fix the tire on the rental. I was VERYY upset with this stating it was not my fault and that is expensive to have to be payed. I asked to speak with the service manager Pansy and all she told me was that they have nails lying around the whole dealership and it's a part of Texas construction which made me furious because I could have picked up the nail on my way out. I was forced to pay in full before they would even give me the keys to my own car which is absurd. The only person who truly cared was Jose Garcia who did everything he can for me on his day off while the others just wanted my money. Took my car to get it serviced and recieved poor communication on the diagnosis of the problem, the shifter was broken during repairs, and the clutch interlocking switch was broken too. read more
