It's been a while since we were here last. Every time we dine here, we order the fish and chips. Unfortunately, it is no longer on the menu as they got a new chef in the last month or so according to our server Elizabeth. I had the smash burger with fries. Delicious! Fries were perfectly cooked. First of all I only wish I would have added a 5 star review last month and all the previous months we have eaten at Coyote Grill many times and enjoyed perfect service and wonderful food. Although the wonderful service hasn't changed the MENU HAS CHANGED. BECAUSE THE MENU HAD CHANGED, Fortunately I selected their wonderful Wonton Soup. My husband usually had their lox and bagels. Well not on the menu! The new menu; Lox are in a rendition or avocado toast. It was disgusting. The potatoes were cold and OLD... the avocado "glob" was from a carton Tasted disgusting. This was the only restaurant to eat breakfast at before we checked out of the hotel on 12/21 & headed home. Both hubby & I were hungry. We had seen on the breakfast menu they had biscuits & gravy. I was craving biscuits & gravy so we ate here. We were seated right away. The place was really busy, both inside & outside on the patio. It didn't seem like there were enough servers. We kept waiting on our server until finally someone, I'm guessing the manager, came & took our order. Our server checked on us once after he took our order & we were waiting on our food, & that was it. We both got iced teas. The tea was very strong. We like are tea strong, but it was so strong I put some of my water in it. Hubby ordered scrambled eggs, a side of sausage & a side of biscuits & gravy. The biscuits & gravy are only 1 biscuit split in half. I ordered the country fried steak, no eggs & it comes with hash browns. I also ordered a side of biscuits & gravy, thinking hubby would help me. Hubby didn't even finish his biscuit & gravy because it was so bad. The biscuit was dry & the gravy had no flavor. Adding salt & pepper didn't help. He always finishes all of his food. My country fried steak was not good. I took 2 bites & was done with it. Even the hash browns weren't good. They were little crispy on the outside, but the inside was not crispy at all. Stopped in for lunch as a single, Glenna was great! Enjoyed the lobster salad on bib lettuce which included half an avocado and lightly dressed with capers, very tasty. I also got a side of fries which were fresh and crispy. read more

I greatly miss the Wandering Horse Buffet but this turned out to be a wonderful place to fill that void in my heart. While not a buffet, they serve a diverse mix of cuisines that should satisfy most cravings. For them not being a true Asian restaurant, they have really good Asian dishes and sushi (if you are craving that). Their sushi menu is not posted online and you will have to ask for it dining in. I didn't know they served sushi until my sister told me from her previous visits. They do automatically charge a 22% gratuity for parties 6 or more - just a heads up. Great, friendly and attentive service! I came over for dinner below a show. The wonton soup was good. Didn't love the pork but the shrimp and wontons were great, broth was great. My husband and I came here for a late night bite after our concert. The service was not great, they are understaffed, we waited a while for our nachos so we ended up asking them to box up our other food to go. Their food is good and their portions are very large. Service with a smile! The service was great and sincere. It's a nice place one floor down from the main casino floor. Spacious with plenty of booths and tables. Water with ice was served right after I sat down. Layla was my server - such a friendly person. I ordered a small bite - bone-in wings with mango habanero sauce (it was more sweet than hot but still good). As you can see from the picture - not really a small bite (maybe if intended for two people). Lots of other things on the menu - salads like chicken Caesar salad and others. Big bites (full entrees) and desserts. Everything on the menu sounds good and the food I noticed being served looked good (heard no complaints). Diane and I just returned from a 30-day, 8,372 mile road trip across and around the United States from Redlands, California to Dover, Delaware and back. The principal goal was to see before I die as many of the ten remaining states that I have not visited before. When we departed, only ten states remained. Now just three are left: North Carolina, South Carolina, and Vermont. We tried to knock off the Carolinas on this trip but were blocked in that pursuit by the wrath of Hurricanes Helena and Milton. Our first dinner on the trip was spent here, our initial overnight stop, at the Talking Stick Resort, I enjoyed a fresh Rainbow Roll while Diane had a very good Shrimp Tempura. And we both ordered a hot Bowl of Wor Wonton Soup. I also had an entree of Mongolian Beef with White and Green Onions and Steamed White Rice. The meat was a little tough but everything else was fine. Went with a group of about 17, so we were seated outside with heaters, so not bad. Service was decent considering the size of the group and the only negative thing is they could only split the bill into groups. Food was actually better than expected. I had a chicken burger and got the onion rings as a substitution for fries and there was enough for at least 3 people! I had never been to Blue Coyote Cafe and, while many casino restaurants I've been to are subpar, this place was a pleasant surprise! The restaurant was very clean, away from the noise, and kind of a nice little hidden spot. The waitress, Katie, was extremely kind and attentive, and the food was delicious. Came here yesterday Monday mid-morning. We were seated right away. There were 5 other tables that were seated. We got to our table and the menus came quickly along with water. Our server a sweet gal came over to us and took our drink order. Drinks came out quickly. We looked over the food menu and we noticed the dishes were very reasonably priced. So we decided to order some noodles, pork and crispy shrimp tempura along with a nice salad. When we received our food we took noticed it was a very big portion. I must say everything tasted very good. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura which cave with a sauce. When we return we will be coming back here again. I can try more delicious food. Was meeting a friend for breakfast and she suggested the Blue Coyote Cafe. I have to admit I haven't been there in awhile since I'm gluten free and there wasn't many choices. They added the açaí bowl. It has granola, blueberries, bananas and honey plus of course the acai. It was so fresh and delicious. Visiting Arizona and some of the people wanted to check out Talking Sticks Resort Casino. We got there at lunch time so decided to eat first. Not too many choices for 11 of us so we picked Blue Coyote Cafe since they could seat us all. Nothing special. My hubbie pulled his chair out and then had a very sticky hand from the dirty chair and had to ask someone to please wipe down the chair and he had to go to the restroom to wash his sticky, dirty hand. One couple in our group checked her bank charge and Talking Stick Blue Coyote Cafe charged her twice and both amounts were not the total of what her receipt is? We were so excited to arrive at the Talking Stick Resort for a staycation and wanted to grab lunch. The Blue Coyote Cafe was one of the only places open for lunch so we decided to try it, and we were greatly disappointed. We walked into a dark almost basement feeling restaurant with the lights dim/maybe off from the hostess stand to the dining room. Our booth was comfortable but seemed like it wasn't cleaned well. Our server came over to take our order and when she returned with our food, which was decent but nothing noteworthy, she left us with our bill. She didn't ask if we wanted anything else, or ever follow up on how our food was. We were hoping to get another drink, but that didn't happen. We requested an additional plate, and never received it. Overall it was a disappointing first impression of the resort. There is definitely some potential to make it a friendlier and more welcoming option, and to increase the service standards. We hope that the resort can make some changes to their food options, because we would love to come back, but not as the way it is. read more

Great service. We went after the sawyer Brown concert on 7/17/25 ( my husband's 75th birthday) and maybe 10-15 minutes before closing. They treated us as if we had sll the time in the world. There were maybe 1/2 doz patrons. I ordered the fish and chips and hubs had pastrami on rye. We decided to take it back to our room so I could get out of my wheelchair. The food was packed nicely with condiments, cutlery and napkins. Wait staff advised us to call down to the cafe if things were not to our satisfaction once we got to the room . I had a very good dining experience at this quiet cafe. I was craving a steak so decided to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint! My waiter was great, very attentive and provided all the fixings for my lunch. I asked for medium cooked and they did a great job. The flavors were all there and definitely enjoyed it. The baked potatoes was also great, it had butter and sour cream. The asparagus was good too however I think I prefer it on top and not at the bottom with all the juices. Food was good but the service was so slow I will not return. Over 2 and half hours for Mexican food. It took more than 45 minutes to place an order and we asked multiple times to place our order with the staff. One of our guests had to bus our table as refill chips multiple times. It took over close to 30 minutes after dinner get our cake that was pre maid and then most of our guests did not have forks so we had to search for some at other tables in the dinning room.
