Society Swan was one of the places I've had on my Happy Hour list for a while now. I have gone in twice and each visit was exemplary. The first time I came in with 2 coworkers for HH. We ordered some apps and cocktails. Great prices for drinks ans food and we were full!! The dishes are super tasty and filling. Cocktails on point and so was the service. The second time I came with a friend and we shared the Fried Chicken Sandwich after I saw the reel they posted on Instagram. That thing was juicy and a great size. I don't normally do chicken, but this burg was worth it!! I'm glad we shared it because there is no way I could have eaten it by myself, lol. It's dimly lit for a romantic vibe, but it's a casual dress code. The bar upstairs is great for Happy Hour, but be warned it's really dark in there. We had no complaints about the service, pricing or food options. One of the managers came around and spoke with us as we dined, which I thought was nice of him. He thanked us for coming in. Society Swan has great options for their Happy Hour menu. Crab and Avocado Roll, crispy chicken pot stickers, truffle Brie and baguette, oysters and roasted garlic custard were all very tasty. Great expansive menu for HH i must say. We did try items not on happy hour as well such as the Filet Mignon, Chicken Francese as well as the Smash burger (that last one only on HH) and all of which were just ok. Their meats were cooked to tempt, but somehow just end up tasting burnt and dry on the outside which was unappetizing. If you want real tender, juicy meats all around I would suggest going to Brassiere Melrose on 7th Ave and Camelback. Their filet was too die for and I haven't found another yet that can beat theirs at Brassiere Melrose. We will be back for Society Swans other goodies tho! We enjoyed their sangria and their petite martinis and their atmosphere. Oh and we also tried their Tuesdays Tastings menu which was a 3 course menu for $55. They do give you an option to pair it with a wine or cocktail however that it not including in the $55 price. But was definitely a fun option to try more of their menu! read more

We really enjoyed dinner here. We had reservations, and I'm glad because there were no tables available for walk-instead except at the bar. The hostess desk is immediately in front as you walk in the door. If to one side is a bar, and behind her are steps that lead to the dining room. There is a second bar downstairs. We sat in the smaller dining area to the side, but there was a larger one right next to it. The decor is simple and elegant. Our server was very professional and attentive. We started with an Espresso Martini and a white sangria. We ordered the Roasted Garlic Custard for an appetizer. It was so yummy--a cup of garlic custard with a layer of tomato pistou and hazelnuts, topped with a salsa verde. It's was served with thin toasted Parmesan baguette. Delish!! For entered, we ordered the Short Rib Bourguignon served with horseradish risotto and asparagus and the French Quarter Salmon in buerre blanc served with brussel sprouts and beets. We sat upstairs in the bar area, which has a dark, swanky atmosphere that immediately felt like the perfect date night spot. I enjoyed a glass of rosé, and my husband had the Society Blonde on draft. We ordered the truffled Brie baguette, and wow it was incredible! The combination of creamy Brie, garlic, and truffle honey was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect shareable appetizer and left us wanting more. Even though we only stopped in for drinks and a bite, we spent some time looking over the menu and already know we'll be back for dinner. Came here for their Mother's Day brunch. I thought food was fantastic and service was great. For starters, we went with the tempura zucchini and we absolutely loved it. My brother and I also enjoyed the crispy chicken potsticker. The mint flavor in them is noticeable for sure, so if you don't like mint, I'd pass on these, but I personally like mint. For the main, I went with the turkey club and it's definitely big enough to take some home for leftovers. Tables are a bit close together and it got pretty loud inside, but since it is in the mall, I understand that they don't have a ton of space to work with. If you heard the name Society Swan and you thought of Truman Capote, you're on to something. This French restaurant and bar is inspired by the famous author's interactions with high society (it's even a TV show). If you haven't read any books by Capote, check out Crime and Punishment. It's an all-time classic and one of my favorite books. I digress. I stopped by Society Swan for a nightcap after having dinner at Teleferica Barcelona. I parked in the complimentary lot at the mall. Ambiance (5/5): This is part of where Society Swan shines. It's a beautiful restaurant. With speakeasy vibes (although it's not a speakeasy). The bar area is essentially in its own room which is where I sat. If you're dining in, there's a spacious dining area (along with a mini bar). Think deep wood and sophistication. Service (4/5): While they weren't too busy, service was solid. I was greeted promptly and presented with a menu. The bartender checked back in after a reasonable time to take my order. I had to grab his attention to close out. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so only a cocktail for me on this visit. With that being said, I love French food so I'd definitely love to return to check out the fare. I'm generally a fan of Fox Restaurant Concepts and their flock of restaurants (did you see what I did there?!), so I imagine the food is quite good. Drinks (4/5): Society Swan has an interesting cocktail list, with a good portion of it being martinis. The speakeasy vibes hit here too as you see creativity and sophistication with the cocktails. They're a bit pricey, but overall, my cocktail was good. It's tough for me to say no to drinks with Japanese elements like yuzu. Went for restaurant week and had a blast! The restaurant is dark and moody, such a fun/mystery vibe that is perfect for a girl's night out or a date night. I was able to try a couple items and I'll give you the rundown. My recommendations: The oysters were fresh and yummy, the steak frites was great and the sauce that came with it was chef's kiss. The salad was also fresh and light, which was the perfect start to my meal. The dirty martini was sooooo good too. My skips: the pigs in a blanket were dry and lackluster and the desserts weren't my favorite (im a big dessert person so take my opinion here seriously). Society Swan was a spot I had been wanting to try for a while, so AZ Restaurant Week finally gave me the perfect excuse with their incredible 3-course menu for $55/person. The atmosphere is very dark, moody, and upscale with a two-level setup, though personally the lower dining level felt a bit cave-like and cramped at times. It was so dim that I noticed multiple people using their phone flashlights just to read the menu. That being said, it still had a trendy, intimate vibe that worked well for a night out. Our server, Bailee, truly elevated the experience. She was witty, patient, attentive, and so kind while my partner and I asked what probably felt like a million questions throughout the evening. To start, we ordered two martinis that were absolutely fantastic, honestly some of the best cocktails I've had recently. I'm already excited to come back and explore more of their drink menu. For appetizers, I ordered the truffled Brie baguette which was rich, flavorful, and super filling. The only downside was that the bread slices were cut a little too thick, making them slightly cumbersome to eat. My partner ordered the chicken potstickers, which were decent, though they reminded us more of mini empanadas than traditional potstickers. For my entrée, I had the steak frites, and this dish was excellent. The steak was tender with a beautiful charred crust, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. My partner ordered the spicy vodka pasta, which was a huge portion and something he thoroughly enjoyed. Dessert was a tale of two very different experiences. Unfortunately, my Black Forest toffee pudding cake missed the mark for me, since it was overwhelmingly bitter and not enjoyable. HOWEVER, my partner's praline butter crunch cake absolutely stole the show. Think warm butter cake drenched in a gooey hazelnut toffee caramel sauce, topped with silky vanilla ice cream and crunchy pralines. Seriously unforgettable. Overall, Society Swan delivered a memorable dining experience with standout cocktails, excellent service, and some truly delicious dishes. I'd gladly return to try more menu items, and especially for that praline crunch cake alone. No one there greeting at the 4:00pm time when we arrived, but the bartender acknowledged us when we asked to sit at the bar. Society Swan has been open about 9 months and seemed to me to be hitting its stride. Went in for mid-week dinner and had a wonderful experience. They describe their own ambiance as "clubby and chic". I'd agree with that assessment. Dark wood and low lighting thoughtfully dominate. Front desk staff elegantly dressed, reminded me of walking into Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills. 2 levels to the place. Ground level elegant, cozy bar and 2-top seating, main dining is downstairs and in addition to booths and tables, there's another bar. If I was shopping at Fashion Mall and wanted to stop in for Happy about libation and shareable bites to eat, would stay upstairs. They've got a lively happy hour program. The food and beverage program shines in a lot of ways. Cocktails are inventive and ai tried their riff on an Old Fashioned they call Fancy Cowboy Attire. It includes a peanut mole and cinnamon ... I was hesitant at first, but my knowledgeable server Izzy assured me it was really good. She was spot on. I loved it. There are some nice maki sushi appetizer offerings as well as some other shareable that evoke American and French influences. I ordered the oysters from the west coast US. Really fresh and served traditionally. Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. For entree, went with the New Orleans/French. Inspired Salmon. Perfectly cooked and served with roasted potato, artichokes, arugula, and I think a béchamel sauce. Light and flavorful. Paired well with a nice 9 oz pour of French Sancerre. For dessert tried the schoolmate sticky toffee. Melts in your mouth. Dessert menu is fantastic. Had a hard time picking just one. Throughout the meal, staff was attentive and knowledgeable and my server Izzy was not afraid or hesitant to offer recommendations. I was super impressed. Entrance to Society Swan just opposite the green garage valet which is convenient. With cocktail, wine, appetizer, entree and dessert I was at about $150 before tax and tip. This is my third time coming to Swann Society and this time I was slightly disappointed. I ordered the Seabass with a shrimp butter sauce. To me the shrimp butter sauce, overpowered the fish. The fish was sort of lost in that super rich shrimp butter sauce. The first bite, I thought oh this is pretty good. But then the more I ate it the more muddled the flavors became. It was just too much going on with this dish. I definitely would not order this again. But I still love their French onion soup and the ambience of the whole place. This is a nice dark clubby/romantic venue. Our server was in a bit of a rush and they should have transferred our table to someone else instead of hurrying us. Drinks took forever to come out as well as the glasses of wine we ordered with dinner. We were nearly done with our meal before those arrived. She forgot some requests and then asked if we wanted dessert before we were even done with our entrees. Not cool. Food was delicious - lobster carbonara was not creamy at all, more of a butter/oil sauce with nice chunks of lobster. The truffle flavor wasn't overpowering but not necessary at all. Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. My wife and I went here for lunch, we had no reservation and wasable to get in and grab a table in the bar. Our bartender/server Scott, immediately greeted us and took our drink order. I had a Moscow mule and my wife had an espresso martini, both were delicious and refreshing. Quite behind on reviews, forgive me. I was here for Valentines Day and enjoyed the three course pre-fix menu. We started with the French onion soup, both of us decided it was among the best we have ever had. We would go back just to have this and a glass of wine! I enjoyed the baked pacherri pasta, which was incredibly filling and delightful. It was a texture dream with the crunchy and cheese filling. My partner had the salmon and only reported great things. We finished with the toffee pudding as it was the only dessert without nuts. I do wish the dessert menu was more inclusive of people with nut allergies, but I ended up being SHOCKED by how great the toffee pudding is. It was AMAZING. Wow, this spot was absolutely amazing! I was invited here for dinner and had no idea it even existed. It honestly felt like a secret society hidden in plain sight. I believe it took over the old Kona Grill at Fashion Square Mall. Parking isn't the best, but they do offer valet. Just a heads-up, it's pricey: $30 a pop or $60 for VIP (still not entirely sure what "VIP" gets you), so plan accordingly if you want a close walk to the restaurant. Wish they offered complimentary valet. Other than parking, everything else was perfect. The service was fantastic, and the space itself is absolutely beautiful. It did get a bit loud at times, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. We decided to let our server pick a few entrées for the table, and she nailed it. The hostess and our server were both very nice and made my wife's birthday a nice family lunch. I think everyone enjoyed their food -- I had a lobster roll, two people had the French dip and one had the club sandwich, all from the lunch menu. (That club is HUGE and made at least two meals for my son.) I'm not a huge fan of their truffle chips (I still ate all of them, so they're not BAD at all, just a bit strong). If you love truffles, these are crunchy potato-truffle explosions in your mouth - if you can share them, that may be a way to balance the potency. If you don't like truffles, steer clear. The fries are the shoestring type and are excellent. My lobster roll was just the right size and had a good flavor: subtle and not in-your-face with the taste of the sea. The two who had French dips said they were excellent and one of the sandwiches vanished faster than I'd seen food disappear in a while. The bread is on the crusty side, which some people like while others prefer a softer chew. Just be aware. I like the crusty bread because it stands up to the dipping. We generally don't have lunch at upscale places like this, but it worked out nicely for the special occasion. It sounds like I need to go back so I can try the dip myself! Society swan is a French inspired bistro serving a mashup of American food with French touches. Opened in late 2025 it has got a great nightclub vibe. The main restaurant is downstairs and you are directed down the grand staircase by the host once your table is set up. On the main level is a darkclub-like bar. There was a bit of confusion with our 6:45 reservation we booked online via OpenTable. Somehow in their computer they were expecting us at 5:15 so when they called to check on us as a no show, we straightened things out. As I mentioned you can certainly find French inspired items on the menu like onion soup and the amazing goat cheese and fig tart we enjoyed, but the mains lean heavily to American food like French dip, lobster roll, and burger. Prices are good on food but it's clear they make all their money on wine and drinks. They had a nice selection of higher end wines by the glass. They have wonderful frites (skinny French fries) and my wife loved the sea bass entree. The space feels cozy and the team-oriented service style meant we were well cared for. We wanted to try a new spot for my birthday lunch and Sam Fox restaurants usually are good options. The seating here is comfortable although the noise level is much higher than I prefer. Our server was wonderful, making sure to wish me a happy birthday (the staff leaves you a card too) and she was attentive throughout our meal. The Prime Rib Dip was fabulous, as well as the accompanying french fries. (It would have been good to know that ordering Parmesan herb fries was an upcharge of a dollar or so per person.) The sandwich has a generous amount of beef on a garlic butter baguette (yum!) and my favorite type of fry is a crispy shoestring. I really enjoyed both. Society Swan is a great little escape inside Scottsdale Fashion Square when you want something that feels elevated without being too serious. The ambiance is probably the main reason I keep coming back. It works really well for a weekday happy hour, a nice date, or even posting up at the upstairs bar to watch the NBA playoffs without feeling like you're at a standard sports bar. It has that polished Scottsdale feel, but still feels comfortable enough to actually relax and enjoy yourself. Nick is the best and really adds to the experience. Great service makes a good spot even better, and he definitely deserves a shoutout. I've enjoyed everything I've tried on the menu, so it's an easy recommendation if you're already in Fashion Square and want somewhere that feels a little more intentional than just grabbing a random mall meal. 11/02/2025 Finally, a new highly anticipated restaurant that meets the hype!! I made a reservation for two on 10/10/2025, five days before opening day, and a reasonable dinner time was already hard to get. This is located at Scottsdale Fashion Center, which is always busy, so I highly recommend giving yourself plenty of time to find parking. Once you get inside, there is a bar to the right, and a host stand up ahead. We waited for just a couple of minutes before a hostess walked us down the stairs to our table. There is a large arrow pointing downward above the stairwell so you know where to go. DRINKS My friend didn't feel like drinking alcohol, and I was the driver, so we both got mocktails. She loved the "Espresso No Tini" ($10) which was presented in a fancy glass and a thick layer of foam. I wanted to try it, but it was too late for caffeine. The "Modern Drinker" ($10, yuzu, lychee, mint, strawberry) was so good, and I drank it so fast. "Common Saints" ($10, pineapple, dragon fruit, ginger, calamansi, tonic) was pretty good, a bit sour. I prefer the "Modern Drinker" because it was smooth, refreshing, and not too sweet. FOOD The Truffled Brie Baguette ($16) is a must-try! Crunchy baguette smothered in warm brie, roasted garlic, and truffled honey - chef's kiss! I liked the pastry on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket ($19). I couldn't tell that it's wagyu. Tasted good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. The Black Truffle Spaghetti ($26) was presented beautifully with the shaved truffles. It was delicious, and I kept reaching for more. Both side dishes that we tried were so good too - Haricot Verts ($10) and French Fries ($10). The fries were thin, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. DESSERT Everything on the dessert menu sounded so good, so we asked our waitress for a recommendation. We went with her favorite, Praline Butter Crunch Cake ($14). It comes with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce. Every component was delicious. We saw another table of two get three desserts!! Wish we had done that, but we were stuffed. All of this combined with the service created such a great experience. We thought the pricing was fairly reasonable, and we actually want to go back and dine in again, unlike other Scottsdale restaurants we've tried that are priced even higher. read more

I'd do 3.5 stars if I could. Went during Restaurant Week (RW) to try a new place. This is one we won't go back to. Food was decent. Nothing wowed us. It's a Fox Restaurant Concept place and for us half are good and half are meh. Regular pricing on the menu was a little high for the quality of food. Having to go through fancytown mall wasn't our jam and we realized after it was close to the "other" valet but still weird to have to go into the mall to enter. Service felt a little rushed like we were taking too long with our 3 courses for 3 people. Crispy chicken potstickers were pretty good, w a great sauce for dipping. Ten vegetable salad was good but a little small if that was the regular menu size. Wagyu pigs in a blanket were my favorite thing. Short rib had good risotto but sauce was way too sweet. Chicken francese was our favorite entree. Good flavor w great sauce. Maine lobster roll wasn't that good. Didn't taste like much, like no seasoning and seemed to have something extra that didn't help. As a person from New England, this wouldn't hold up back East. Desserts were okay. Sticky toffee wasn't for me. Praline cake thing was alright. The tart was the best. I wouldn't call their martinis "world famous" as the restaurant does. My wife's dirty was almost crystal clear. Anyone who orders a dirty martini wants enough brine to make it cloudy, at least a little bit. This one was like it had no salt to it. Fancy Cowboy Attire is a horrible drink. Like diabetes sweet. I don't know how a rye whiskey drink could be this bad. It may be the worst $18 cocktail I've ever had. I had to chug it and hated it. So like I said, with RW places sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This was our biggest L in years. read more

A family member and I recently decided to try this place out for lunch while we were at Scottsdale Fashion Square. After looking over the menu, we decided to start off with the crab and avocado roll and the ten vegetable chopped salad to share. The crab and avocado roll was alright, nothing too special. The ten-vegetable chopped salad on the other hand, was loaded with both flavors and textures. As refreshing as it was, next time I think we will ask for less cheese. For our main entrees we ordered the Maine lobster roll with an additional side of fries, and the black truffle spaghetti. The lobster roll was flavorful, with the brioche being perfectly buttered. The accompanying truffle chips were good but got overly salty fast. The black truffle spaghetti on the other hand was our favorite dish of this visit. The flavors were light and subtle. Sometimes when I consume truffle, I feel unwell afterwards, but this was not the case with this dish! Overall, Society Swan is a great addition for dine in options if you're in the area. Service was highly professional and attentive from start to finish. At no time during our meal did we ever feel rushed or ignored. The interior of the establishment is dark with classy décor. Booths were very comfortable and felt intimate even though noise level was high. We came around prime lunchtime hours and they were packed, so I highly recommend reservations. read more

I dropped in here for a cocktail opening Friday after dinner and sat at the bar. I was interested in the espresso martini which I typically would go for a real espresso but honestly was so, so good. The bartender recognized us from a previous place, and she recommended we try the Pomodoro drink. I honestly would've never ordered this, but I came back the next day to drink it again. It's well balanced, different, and fun. I liked the experience and drinks so much, I really wanted to try the food, so stopped in for a weekend lunch. The host staff was accommodating and super nice. The tables had plenty of room to be comfortable (not Jammed pack bumping into other parties). The interior is nice but inviting. For lunch I had the chicken and added pasta. The waitress recommended that, I'm not typically in for gravies or sauces but the au jus was AMAZING! I'd drink this for my next cocktail. The Wagyu pigs in a blanket were nostalgic. My friend ordered the steak Frites and the steak was tender, I'd say better than other ones I've had in the area. And lastly, the butter cake. My friend has brought it up several times. The topping gives it a nice crunch. The cake itself isn't overly sweet and surprisingly light and spongy for a butter cake. The sauce and praline toffee add the sweetness to the cake and the sauce comes on the side in which they'll pour or let you do it. I've def already recommended this to friends and plan to come back. I'm excited to see they have a happy hour (weekdays) and love their drink prices at normal are more reasonable than surrounding areas for great cocktails. read more

Society Swan, the latest restaurant from Fox Restaurant Concepts is par for the course for FRC eateries: It's very stylish and the food is solid. The interior is dark, classy and intimate on the ground floor--a lot of dark wood and low lighting. It's a little brighter and busier on the lower level. The food is very good. The Crab & Avocado Louis is enormous, more than enough for an entree portion. The Chicken Francese, a breaded cutlet, was a favorite of mine as well. (It's worth it to add the buttered Parmesan spaghetti.) Nothing I ate was life-changing, but I enjoyed everything. Cocktails are wonderful as well. I had an espresso martini and a CZ's Guest List and would happily order either again. It was not busy when I was there, so maybe I got extra attention, but the service at the ground floor bar was above and beyond. I enjoyed chatting with the guys behind the bar. Overall, Society Swan is a trendy spot whose offerings are worth the buzz. read more

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time last night. I was a little nervous just because the food reviews were kind of all over the place, somewhere good somewhere bad, but we didn't let that dictate what we ordered. My husband ordered the lobster carbonara and really enjoyed it. The lobster was absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak & frites. I wish I would've gotten my steak medium rare because I feel like it was served a little bit more well done when I asked for medium but probably my fault cause it's a thin steak. The seasoning on the french fries was delicious. Make sure if you are a ranch lover that you ask for a side of ranch with the fries because the ranch definitely tasted homemade and was thick, creamy, and delicious. Stop. The steak was also really juicy and had good flavor. And please do not forget to order the brie bread that's listed as a starter! Whatever they put on top of the toasted brie is sweet and delicious and was the perfect amount of bread for my husband and I to start with. I will absolutely be going back read more

We came here for a birthday dinner and loved it! We came early before our reservation and ended up sitting in the bar area for a couple of drinks. They have happy hour till 6 pm so we were able to order a few drinks while we waited for our table. Our waitress offered to bring champagne for the birthday celebration as well which was very nice. We were then sat for a reservation in the lower dining room area. Our server was excellent and explained each dish to us very well. We ordered a few appetizers that were very tasty including the baked brie, which was amazing, I highly recommend ordering this. We then ordered our entrées and those were all very tasty as well. We loved the roasted jidori chicken, prime rib dip and the baked paccheri pasta. We will be back soon! read more
