I ordered UberEats from here actually thinking it was another restaurant, but I'm so glad I made this mistake! Blue Elephant is take out only, no dine-in available. My order was ready earlier than anticipated and the woman at the front was very friendly. Our pad thai, fried rice, shrimp shumai and salmon roll cured our cravings. Everything we ordered was hearty and filling. The salmon in particular was fresh and buttery. It was a good amount of food for the price. I recommend checking out Blue Elephant!

I've ordered from here via Uber Eats several times now. I've had their massamon curry, panang curry and the drunken noodles all with medium spice level. I asked for chicken to be added to each dish. I also had extra potatoes added to the curries. All three of the dishes I've tried have been amazing. The massamon curry is the perfect comfort food; it has the perfect blend of warm spices and is creamy and delicious. The panang curry is rich and flavorful and bold on the tongue. It has a tiny bit of zest, which I believe is from lemongrass. Just as delicious as the massamon. The drunken noodles were also very flavorful but the curries definitely stole the spotlight.

The food was really good! The prices were also good but I do wish the portions were a little bigger. This is TAKE OUT ONLY!! So, don't go and expect to be seated. The food was done very quickly too (about 15-20 minutes). I would order again for sure.

Had Blue Elephant sushi for the first time and delivered via UberEATS - It was fantastic and extremely fresh. California Eel Roll: 5 stars! Simple, but delectable and delicious. Super Dragon Roll: 5 stars! Amazing flavor, fresh and beautifully made. Miami Heat Roll: 5 stars! The best Miami Heat roll in Miami. Incredibly flavored!! Amazing. I cannot wait to try more menu items! The padThai is next on my list, hoping that next time it's not sold out. Clearly there is so much more to discover at the Blue Elephant. I can't wait to place my next order.

Ordered take out of the volcano roll and drunken noodle but the items were unusually greasy. I've never had greasy sushi so this was a disappointment. I ended up scraping off the topping for the volcano roll because it was way too mushy and oily. I've had better sushi and drunken noodles in Miami so overall this place gets a 3/5 from my first experience.

Kon Chau was packed and Blue Elephant wasn't. That's how Mar H. and I ended up there. I had had Blue Elephant bookmarked for ages, but hey, when you have thousands of bookmarks, it's very easy to forget about a place. I have to say this is one that shouldn't be forgotten. This has been the best sushi I have had in Miami period. Everything is so ridiculously fresh. It's as if they just caught it from the sea. I had a dragon roll. My friend had a snow crab roll. We each took a bite of each other's roll. Have to say this is the first time ever I remember actually liking crab. Then again, it wasn't that imitation nonsense they usually give you that is cavity inducing. Each roll was around $12 or so and it was a heavy portion. Note, though, the location is small and it shares its parking lot with many other businesses. You shouldn't have an issue being attended though as it seems to be the new kid on the block. That and the majority of orders were take-out ones. I really hope this restaurant continues to get business as it's exquisite and I don't want it to close. That and if I feel this way about the sushi, I can't wait to go back and try the Thai portion of the menu.

Delicious and fresh! Very friendly as well. I tried the Miami Heat roll and Kanisu roll which is basically a crab sushi roll wrapped with cucumber instead of rice. So good

Ordered the drunken noodles for delivery. They arrived nice and hot. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the spice level (medium/3) was excellent. I ordered with the flat noodles. I generally prefer the flat noodles to be a little wider than these are. Otherwise, the ratios of protein, vegetables, and noodles was very good. I would order/eat from here again.

I ordered delivery from "Blue Elephant Thai and Sushi" in Miami, due to their 4.5 star rating, expecting to get really good food. But, I learned a hard lesson today. My order was Fried Rice with Tofu and Tom Kha Ghai Soup. I was really hungry and I dug in to the Tofu first. After chewing what appeared to be cardboard in my mouth, I spit it out into the trash. The Tofu was overcooked so badly, I could not even chew it. Then, I looked at the Fried Rice and was appalled by it's texture and color. It looked and tasted 3 days old. Fried Rice should not be that dark and stale. So, I pulled my Tom Kha Ghai Soup out of the bag and could not believe the tiny portion that I paid full price for. Every other Thai restaurant serves this soup in a QUART container, but this was a CUP of soup! Bear in mind that I have NEVER left a bad review for a Thai Restaurant before. I called Blue Elephant with my complaint on the phone immediately and they did NOTHING to resolve the problem or even try to make it right. read more

Finally found an authentic Thai place in Miami! This place is truly a hidden gem. There are about 6 tables in the cozy dining area but it's a perfect place for a solo lunch. They have excellent lunch specials - I had the pad thai and they include a salad and soup with the meal for only $10. It's a generous portion of noodles too! And so so good. I can't wait to come back and try their sushi! read more

This place is for people who like to eat good food and really don't care if the place is hip or not just as long as it's clean and the service is amazing. The food is super fresh, absolutely delicious and flavorful. I ordered the tuna tartar and the diamond roll. No need whats so ever of soy sauce. The tuna was fresh and avocado as well. You cant really go wrong with a diamond roll but I did notice that the shrimp had just been cooked which was nice. My husband on the other hand ordered shrimp pad Thai. When it got to our table it was steaming hot. Soooooo good. Like I already said if you want to eat good food don't let appearances blind you. Yes it's a hole in the wall with 4 tables and less than 20 chairs but honestly I don't really care. Remember most of these places mostly do take out. Btw sorry I didn't take any pics I was too hungry to even bother lol read more

Blue elephant is a Diamond is the rough. We discovered this little gem through Uber eats l. Hungry for Thai food and wanting to try out a new spot we have this place a chance and don't regret it one bit. The of Thai is reasonably priced. $16 for all 4 protein choices (pork, beef, shrimp and chicken) the portion is good enough even for 3, my husband my son (who's 3) and I all ate and were very much satisfied with the flavor and texture. We also ordered Tom Kha soup which was also very tasty. It had plenty lemongrass but not an overwhelming amount and a decent amount of shrimps. Next up was the super dragon sushi roll; trust me it lives up to its name, ten huge pieces of sushi goodness... if you don't care if the crunch on top is soggy like I did LOL. Overall very flavorful and the fish tasted fresh. We were so full at this point that we didn't get to try the tuna tartare we ordered but will eat it for lunch today since it looked amazing and it's one of their most popular dishes. The reason they get four stars is because they take a very long time to get the order to you. I called an hour and a half after ordering and they told me the food was ready and that the app was looking for a driver which wasn't true. At the two hour mark a driver was there and I checked in with him but he said he was waiting for the food to be ready. We almost cancelled and we are glad we didn't but they could definitely work on their customer service side. It's still not anything that will keep me away from this place. I'm already thinking of what to order next!! read more

I was craving some good Thai food and found this restaurant on DoorDash. I'm extremely picky when it comes to Thai food, as I grew up in Bangkok and this place didn't disappoint. I ordered the pad see ew with tofu. The dish was very flavorful and was packed with tofu, broccoli, egg and bean sprouts. My only complaint is that the tofu was a bit soggy and it was oily overall. read more

First I want to thank all you Yelpers for not letting me down! We read the reviews to this place and we were excited to get there to order all the good stuff we saw people raving about. We get to the restaurant and freaked out because it was a really small restaurant with no one there. I guess we were expecting to see it full after reading all the great reviews of this place. Well... Let me tell you... We had a "Don't judge a book by its cover" moment. The best.... HELLO ARE YOU LISTENING?? THE BEST WONTON SOUP! EVER! My fiancé ordered two rolls and said they were amazing (forgot what rolls they were). I ended up ordering the Pad Si Ew with chicken (because a Yelper recommended it for those that like Pad Thai) and it was amazing. Blue Elephant has gained some new regulars! read more

Blue Elephant is a hole in the wall privately own restaurant. Literally, there are 4-5 tables maximum.The food itself was great. I had a sushi roll that was very well made. It was fresh and delicious. The waitress, who was also the owner, was very sweet. She wanted her guests to feel welcomed and cared for. I enjoyed my time there and hope to return again. read more

Bird Road has a new sushi spot and I am a fan! What a hidden little gem. It looks like a tiny little mom and pop owned place almost like a take out spot of how small it is but there are tables you can dine in at. But its also the kind of place where if you wanted some sushi before heading home this is the place for you. You can't be fresh sushi, and quick service. The menu is extensive. There's lots of options when it comes to sushi and many options when it comes to Thai food including curry! Based on scoping out people's reviews I trusted that this fish was fresh and it did not disappoint. The tuna tartare was sooo incredibly good and fresh, it was delicious. My friend and I were shocked to see they had papya salad on their menu, which was a plate we had tried in Thailand and loved so we ordered this but the one here was quite different than we remembered so we actually asked them to take it back and they did so without any problem at all and asked what we wanted to switch it for . That is what I call great customer service. We also ordered the Golden dragon roll, omg this was literally PERFECTION served on top of perfectly prepared sushi rice. It had Shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, crab salad top with mango, trust me its worth the $17. I can totally see this becoming my go-to spot for sushi just for this roll. I cant have sushi without having my fried cheesecake for dessert but i was a little disappointed in it, it wasn't my favorite, I have defiantly had better. It kinda of didn't taste that fresh and it wasn't even hot like if they had just fried it. read more

If you're looking for good home cooked Thai food I would definitely recommend this place. The waitress was extremely sweet and the food was delicious. I really liked that they had a wide variety of options to choose from which ranged from Pad Thai, Noodles, Sushi and Curry. The only downside is the place is pretty small so there's not a lot of space to sit if you're coming with a big party. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back here! read more

We did not expect this to be as great as it was. Like other reviews mentioned, it's a very small place. We ordered 6 rolls between us and they were huge. We also ordered soup and sashimi. Everything was delicious with large portions and not expensive. I would definitely return if I lived in the area. read more

Ordered chicken pad Thai, pork fried rice and fried pork gyozas for delivery and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Pad Thai had amazing flavor as did the fried rice. Good portion too--Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow! The pad Thai came with crushed peanuts on the side, which I appreciated and tossed on my noodles before digging in. If you have a hankering for noodles or rice, worth giving this place a try! read more

Don't judge this little store. It has tasty sushi and Thai cooking there. Love it's quaint intimate look for lunch break. Oh,but don't be fooled.. we witness lots of clients showing up for lunch pick-up. I got 20 pieces of different fish. It was fresh and well presented on the plate. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his Thai noodles snd spring rolls. Tasty doughnuts for desert. Yeah, Will meet husband again for delish cool lunch. read more

We were in the area and came here due to the yelp reviews. We had the chicken and veggie stir fry which was very good but the Tuna Tartare and Salmon Lover sushi roll was crazy good. Best sushi I have ever had. This place caters more to takeout than eat in, but you can certainly eat in. Only downfall to eating in is that they do not serve alcohol, but with food this good I did not mind too much. read more

Do they close early? I tried to order and call at 9 pm and no one answered?

They close at 10pm Tuesday to Thursday and from Friday to Sunday at 10:30pm, closed on Mondays. It's difficult to get a hold of someone, they're constantly getting takeout orders.

Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in.
