Ate here in the restaurant last week and the meal was wonderful. Just did takeout today and they failed. Ordered General Tso's chicken, Seafood Combination and Egg drop soup. Soup was good. I specifically said no bell peppers on anything and they added bell peppers to the Seafood Combination and charged me $1.95 for adding the bell peppers. I am allergic to bell peppers but didn't want to drive all the way back from South Bethany. Some of the shrimp were mushy. The General Tso's chicken was dry and hard. My wife and I are now back to trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in this area. Will not order from here again. read more

The sushi was decent but the Chinese food like the chicken and broccoli and the sesame chicken bordered on mediocre. The pad Thai was completely tasteless. Our take out dinner was shockingly amazing. The sushi at this spot was really impressive and delicious especially when we conveniently picked up our meal through a drive thru. We also ordered for FOUR DINERS with many items and each and every item that was ordered was packed accordingly and with care. We tried a bit of everything and all of it was soo good! The rice is veggie packed which we love and the house lo mein has plenty of chicken, shrimp and beef they do not cheat you here! We are ocean city regulars- we've had our timeshare for over 20 years. We've been looking for a good Asian food restaurant around here but haven't had any luck. My family went to a different place last week and it was mediocre. So we decided to give Blue Fish a shot after seeing all the good reviews-- and I gotta say we were very impressed! We got take out- my brother the fried rice combo, dad the egg roll and I got the Thai chicken curry-- and it was wonderful! The Thai curry had so much great stuff in it-- tons of delicious and most importantly, FRESH vegetables! To be honest it was probably the healthiest thing I've had all beach week. Perfectly spiced and the sauce wasn't too runny. Needless to say we plan on returning next year, and maybe every year. read more

The venue occupies a former Burger King location and if BK ever ventured into the sushi biz, I'd expect it to taste just like what I ordered. I ordered the rainbow roll and pepper tuna. Neither seemed very fresh. The pepper tuna in particular had a peculiar taste, unlike any I have had previously. The rainbow roll was also a bit skimpy compared to what I'm used to from other restaurants. Otherwise, the server was attentive, courteous and friendly and the order arrived in a timely manner. The vegetables in both still had some 'snap' to them. Would highly recommend for a great meal!! We were hard pressed on a busy Thursday in July to find a place for 5 people to eat. After being turned away at 2 other restaurants, were so happy we stopped at Blue Fish! They were able to accommodate our party outside, (yay! I'm always cold inside,) and the waiter promptly brought us waters with the menus. The food was delicious, the staff was kind, and the decor beautiful. It was, hands down, the best food we've had in Ocean City. As asian Americans we weren't sure if there was good Chinese, Japanese or Thai food in Ocean city but we were very pleased to find a place that had it all in one place. The Thai drunken noodle was excellent as was the Phoenix & Dragon (sesame chicken and shrimp in white sauce). Also the rolls were good too. Bluefish gets 5 stars hands down in my book. We had 5 items and 4 of them were home runs. The fifth, even while not as good, would hold it's own in plenty of other second string sushi places. Our maryland roll, danger roll, steamed dumplings, and thai curry chicken were all five star dishes .. highlighted by intense flavors, perfect presentation, and fresh maryland lump crab that just blew me away. Our double delight roll was good but didn't knock my socks off like the rest. If you're having difficulty deciding, ask for the book they keep at the bar that has pictures of some of the sushi rolls. What a perfect place to suit all kinds of sushi lovers. There's a delightful looking outdoor space, a full indoor dining room, and A DRIVE THRU WINDOW! How cool!? I found the sushi rolls to be delicious, and they have some combos that are well-priced and tasty! We went three times during our visit, and I would definitely have gone more if I could have afforded to. I really thought the drive thru was cool. I didn't expect that but when I placed the order the guy said I could either walk in or just use the drive thru, which made me a super fan right away. I don't remember everything we got, but I do remember getting and enjoying the Spicy Combo, Fire Island Roll, Christmas Roll, Godzilla Roll, and Black Jade Roll, all of which were delicious. Unlike many OC restaurants, they had a good system for texting you once you put your name in. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the sushi and one of the alcoholic beverages was fantastic.
