Streamlined but delicious menu for dinner with something for everyone. For appetizers, we tried pretzel bites and fried green tomatoes; although the off menu specials sounded amazing. The kids menu has traditional favorites Kraft Mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, burger sliders and chicken fingers, all are served with fries or chips (made in house look) and blue bell ice cream! We had steak and coconut shrimp with orange marmalade. There was a nice array of adult beverages on the drink menu. All we tried was amazing! The service was nice too: we called ahead and they accommodated our group quickly. Our kids were more than entertained with the large coloring pages and variety of crayons. The outside is beautiful...but that is about it. The food is awful: the eggs were absolutely awful, not sure why they were setting in water! The hashbrowns were burned! When it's nice outside this is my first pick to enjoy the weather and have a nice meal. I usually sit under the back porch next to the fire place and sofas. I'll usually order some shrimp or a burger with a salad. Each time it was really good. We later heard her belittling an employee where we, and other customers, could hear her! The manager seemed like she hated her job and the customers. Expensive menu prices do not equal class. My mom and I tried this place for the first time recently. The highway construction made it a little tricky to get to but well had the worth the drive. I had coconut shrimp, which was amazing with the twice baked potato. My mom had the steak wedge salad, which she also enjoyed. We also had the coffee with an add in of the five farms Irish cream and coffee with amaretto. Those were also amazing. The rolls were hot, soft and very fresh. My husband and I decided to go to Blue Heaven for dinner tonight. We have been for brunch a handful of times and always enjoyed it. We got there shortly after they opened thinking we would beat any crowds. When we walked in, we were asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, and were told that due to holiday parties they were full except for the bar. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and explained the specials and took our orders. Our appetizer, the fried avocado, came out quickly. As we were eating our appetizer, the same lady that explained they didn't have any available seats (I believe the owner or manager possibly) came up to us and let us know they had a no-show and asked if we would like a regular table to enjoy our date. Our food arrived quickly and was all delicious. My husband got the ribeye and crab legs. I got the Cajun fish and shrimp in a cream sauce. The bartender, Kevin, continued to check on us. It was an overall wonderful experience, and we will be back. Oh, and they give military, first responder, and even teacher discounts! If you haven't already, give them a try. read more

Short summary - One of the worst dining experiences we've had in a very long time. Long summary - Where do I begin??? It was Valentine's Day, so I am taking this into account with my review. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and waited a little bit for our table to become available, since it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant was busy, as expected. Once we are seated, it is no less than 15 minutes before a server even acknowledged our presence (we were getting ready to leave right before that point). So... not off to a great start. I should mention that we were seated at what has to be the worst table in the restaurant. It is located next to the bar in somewhat of a side room, so you might think it would be a little more secluded/romantic, but you would be wrong. The bar itself was full and extremely loud. Plus, we had the "pleasure" of sitting next to a group who are friends of the bartender and other staff. They were very loud in their own right, yelling at the bartender when they wanted a drink, and were obviously getting more service than other patrons in the restaurant. It also didn't help that one of the women in that party was vaping at the table (what made it more comical was the sign outside that says "no smoking/vaping within 25 feet of the restaurant"). In addition, we had the bartender's son sitting on a bench right next to us with his phone on full blast watching videos/games. I understand that sometimes you have to bring your kid to work, but either put them elsewhere or more appropriately, don't put a table in that part of the restaurant. It was an acceptable wait for our food to be prepared. However, I made the mistake of ordering the Marry Me Chicken. While some might enjoy the taste of the chicken/sauce, it lacked flavor to me. That, and the fact that they chose to use minute rice showed how poor of a dish this is. Seriously, (bland) minute rice? My wife ordered the filet, which was decent. The accompanying sides were serviceable, but average at best. At this point we were ready to just get out of there. I hope the other customers had a decent outing for Valentine's, but it was a terrible experience for us. I cannot recommend this place based on our night. read more

We finally came here for my birthday. We heard how great it was. I got the fish and it was pretty good. The side salad was lacking. It was lettuce a few grape tomatoes and cheese. I ordered a shot of Patron to celebrate and it came out warm, no salt, no lime. I looked at the bar to see who the bartender was. Normally a bartender wouldn't serve it this way. He looked about 18. (I know he wasn't) My husband took it back and asked for a proper shot of Patron. He took the shot mixed it with a full shaker of ice and poured the now watered down patron in a cup, sprinkled salt on it and put a lime in the drink?? Isn't this supposed to be a nice restaurant? By the way the bartender was very mad about his shot of $12.50 warm Patron was returned. I mentioned it to the owner and she made an extremely rude comment. The customer is definitely NOT always right here!! I will never be back. Also I don't like vacuuming next to me while I'm eating. read more

For the first time we went to Blue Heaven. We had a party of 6. We were seated at two round tables, so the two people at the ends were too far away from each other to talk to one another. We were outside under a metal roof, which made the volume even higher. There were two large parties in our area. One party was very loud. The service was good. The waitress brought my husband the wrong entree. Then she brought him the correct entree. He had ordered fish. It was so hard he could hardly cut it with a knife. Finally, she brought him the correct entree that was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our waitress did revise our bill because of the mix up on his entree. We didn't ask her to do that, she offered. I will give it one more chance, but not on a Saturday night, when it is so busy. read more

Pros: Beautiful building, looks like a fun atmosphere, very impressive outdoor area. Food was good, but very pricey. Cons: Waiter was inattentive to our party of 8, apps came out 20 mins afeter ordering, they were not worth the price portion-wise. After food came out, 40 minutes after ordering, my wife's dish was wrong, so we sent it back...20 minutes later, it came back out, meat was great, sides were cold. We were done eating, fresh sides never came out. Asked the waiter to comp hers, since she was unable to eat a complete, hot meal, both he and the owner/manager threw a fit, she said he was her best waiter, as if somehow it was our fault that he was inattentive and possibly high or drunk. Ridiculous way to treat customers, Hope they can recoup their investment before running off more customers. We live fairly close by and were willing and ready to make it a regular on our list, but not now. Terrible management, will not go back and will strongly discourage anyone else from visiting. You can get good food at much more reasonable prices without having to put up with this kind of treatment. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This place is amazing! Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The food is incredible. The seared ahi tuna appetizer is really something special. Both the ribeye and the tenderloin steaks are top notch! Very fresh clean atmosphere inside and the outdoor area is really something special. I am visiting from out of town and was delighted to visit this restaurant. My friends and I were so impressed with the hostess. She was very professional which has become the exception, not the rule after Covid. Imagine my surprise to hear someone yelling at the employees. I specifically heard her tell these teenagers that were working so hard that she was going to "beat their f******g legs off" ( her EXACT WORDS)!!! I can not imagine what they could have possibly done to deserve such talk from a GROWN UP. Shame on her. I will never darken this door again and I can't wait to tell EVERYONE I know. DO NOT PLAN AN EVENT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! Booked a graduation party event with the owner 5 months in advance and the week of she decided that it wasn't a good fit to serve appetizers in a group setting?? She only wanted to serve individual appetizers to each individual. Not sure how long the owner has been in the service industry, but this may be one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard. You don't have servers to distribute appetizers? You don't have covered platters or someone to serve those in a line? Owner was extremely rude and canceled the week of graduation. My husband and I went here for the first time last night. It was really good. We both had the triple crown, which was their dinner special with a 6 ounce fillet crabcake and shrimp with a light cream sauce on top served with baked potato, his was twice baked and asparagus. We both had a salad that came with it as well with homemade ranch and the ranch was excellent as I am a ranch snob. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection when it comes to medium rare. I think the only negative things would be that the food needed a little more seasoning such as salt. Now this is my taste or opinion. I use salt, not overly heavy, but actually had to put quite a bit on it. The other thing was the shrimp had that chlorine or iodine-ish aftertaste, so I didn't care for that. and I know that is not the restaurants fault per se because it depends on where the shrimp is caught and how it is preserved before ever getting to a restaurant and it's just some thing I don't care for. I completely forgot about taking a picture of the food before I started eating but because my baked potato was piping hot and soft all the way through I was super excited because a lot of restaurants for some reason cannot make a simple baked potato; they nailed it. We took home coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie for dessert. Our waitress Tiffany was super sweet and very efficient. I think I did however, blow her mind when she told me about the coconut cream pie and the chocolate cream pie. I asked her if they had calf slobbers or whipped cream on them. I had to explain to her what calf slobbers were in for those of you that don't know it's just a slang for meringue. We all had a good laugh over that. We will definitely return to the restaurant and try other dishes. I did read reviews prior to going and I was staying non-biased. Some of the reviews stated the food was overpriced but in my opinion because it was good really good it was worth it. We have eaten at Blue Heaven twice prior to our horrible experience this evening. The prior two times the food was good and the staff was friendly. This evening, we had family in town for the holidays and wanted to take them to a nice restaurant, so we called and made reservations for the patio at 7:30. It is unusually warm weather in Arkansas at Christmas and we were looking forward to a nice,peaceful dinner with family outside. When we arrived we were told that the patio was closed due to staffing issues and were sat inside. There were several very loud, obnoxious customers in the restaurant and we could barely hear to talk with each other. Whenever we brought this up to our waitress she went and told the owner to come and talk with us. When the owner came to our table, she told us that there was no way they would have made a reservation for the patio because the patio has been closed for a month. She then proceeded to tell me that I must have called the Blue Heaven restaurant in Key West to which I told her I could show her on my phone that I called her restaurant. She proceeded to call us liars and then whenever we tried to order our food, they were out of almost everything. Any meal with shrimp, all the specials and anything with Alfredo they were out of. We placed our order with our waitress and told her that the owner was less than helpful when she came to talk with us. The waitress immediately went and told the owner that we said she was less than helpful with our complaint about our reservation . The owner then came over to our table and told us that we were done and needed to leave her restaurant. This is extremely unprofessional and it was one of the most bizarre and rude experiences I have ever had in my life. I have never been kicked out of a restaurant in my life and always treat wait staff with kindness and respect, because I was always raised to treat others how you want to be treated. All we wanted was to enjoy a nice meal with family. We will absolutely never be returning to this establishment because of the absolute disrespect and blatant rudeness that we were shown while we were attempting to eat dinner. I recommend everyone steer clear of this place and if this is how they treat their customers your hard earned money is best spent elsewhere. read more
