We opted for the cheapest option but still had 40 + items to choose from. My favorite was the bulgogi by far but I also enjoyed my steak. Since I'm a well done type of guy, cooking it myself ensured I wasn't sending it back 3 times. I however was not a fan of Cajun shrimp, it just didn't seem to have any flavor at all. The ambiance is very dark and they play music. Most kbbq play Korean music but this was just American music, nothing wrong with that but just noticed that. They have a cute little statue in the front with water and turtle statues inside. I haven't came here since COVID or a little before COVID but it was good and I'm not sure what happened. It's now $38.99 per person which is expensive for option A! They offer three options, the highest one is $108.99 per person which includes every food from option A to C. I do think the option A lacks a lot of options and flavors as I feel that's the one most people get because it's a bit more budget friendly than the other two prices. We just kept ordering the same stuff since it was the ones that had a lot more flavor. I would say the appetizers options offer a lot of great flavors, options and yummy appetizers. I ordered the seasonal fruit which was orange and I ordered 4 of those because of how juicy and sweet it was. The kimchi and other stuff that comes in the beginning was okay. Nothing special. Id say offering steamed egg as an appetizer was new for me to see. Our server was great except when I told her there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom, she never told anyone about it. At all. I told her very early on that the women's restroom had no toilet paper as I had used it before eating dinner. She said okay and I used it again before I left and I checked the two stalls, still no toilet paper. They even have a list in the bathroom that they're supposed to sign off when they came and checked and refilled the bathroom stuff, the last time it was signed was 3-4pm, I went in there at 8pm and again at 9:30. I had Japchae/beef.. with a side of rice.... I am truly disappointed. They spent too much on a delivery bag then for the actual food and condiments. . They did not offer or include utensils such as fork or a spoon for my meal .. they also did not offer or give additional spices such as soy sauce or spicy peppers. I paid three dollars for a side of white rice . It was probably half a pint container.. We always go here for korean bbq! I love the sides! We usually do the ayce option A, and try everything from there! You get small side dishes and can ask for me if you really like something! I always get more fish cake and kimchi! Service is a hit and miss, sometimes they're really slow. But there is a button for you to press for assistance, which doesn't always work lol. Who knew i'd end up doing Korean BBQ in Sacramento? It was my very first visit here and I'm telling you guys the whole experience was beyond! Their AYCE was quite different than what i had known. Fried chicken for appetizer? You must be kidding? Pricing is pretty decent too. You'll have your own choice! We did the one that's $35 each person and it was just enough! I've never been to a place that brings out this many LA Galbi at once, lol! So generous!!! Their rib eye steak tasted wonderful!!! My friend had their corn cheese and she said it tasted yummy! This place is decent, but not as good as true authentic places I have been to in Koreatowns in different locations. The ambiance is great -- it's certainly cozy. The biggest issue though is the inconsistency. There are some items that are incredibly fresh and flavorful, while others taste a bit bland/Americanized. Additionally, if you want better-tasting items, your best bet is getting either the B or C tiers of the all-you-can-eat packages, which are all priced much higher than places that have better quality food. But the biggest issue is the banchan -- it tastes prepackaged, and it lacks substantial flavor. There are also far fewer sides compared to other places. And finally, service was marginal when I was there. Though I have heard that this was a one-off, and that they are generally more attentive. read more

So my wife and I come here every Friday for our date night. Why? The food is so good. We love eating it right when it's done as opposed to it sitting on a counter before a waiter brings it. KBBQ cravings satisfied!! My parents and I went here a week before Father's Day to beat the rush. Unfortunately they don't do reservations but you can join the waitlist once you arrive. We waited for 10-15 mins before we were seated. Food was great and everything was fresh and great selections of meat, appetizers and sides to choose from. I'm not someone that can tell how high quality a cut of meat is, but to me, all the meats seemed high quality and delicious! The service was pretty good and quick as well. The restaurant was clean but super dark and very, very cold, so bring a jacket! The tables are also huge so you can bring a big party of your family and friends! I would have preferred a smaller table because it was a lot of reaching around with just my boyfriend and I, but it was still great. We came around closing time so we didn't have much time to enjoy the food before we had to place our last round of orders, so I wish we could've gotten there earlier, but that was our own mistake! The appetizers were all okay, but I suppose the meats are supposed to be the star of the show of course. I think the garlic soy beef belly and bulgogi were just ok. I am a fan of La Galbi but I don't think they offer it during lunch! 5 years after my initial review and Blue House Korean BBQ still deserves my full 5 Stars! They're the best Korean BBQ in Sacramento area. They have 3 types of options to choose from. Usually the lowest priced one is good enough for us and the selection is plenty, savory, and fulfilling. The Banchan (vegetable side dishes) also provides a good variety. Favorites for us are the Soy Pork Belly, Bulgogi (seasoned beef), and Kalbi (short ribs). The Kalbi was exceptionally good because they have less fat than other competitors. Although I would appreciate K-Pop dancing on the TV, at least they have sports on the TV. Due to their popularity, we often have to wait for seating but we are always glad to stay inside and sit in their large lobby area while waiting. The staff are good at switching out the grill when it's too burnt but if they don't notice, ask them and they'll easily switch out the grill for a clean one. Tip - Try to avoid typical peak times due to their small parking lot. Tip#2 - Save money by coming during lunch and paying 1/3 less. read more

For sides, we got the steamed egg (which seemed like was only egg whites which I thought was weird), habanero wings, seafood tofu soup (super good), corn cheese and the Korean soybean stew. We were a party of 2 for lunch and got seated right away which was great.
