Even though we are locals, we have never been. We came here on a Monday evening. It was decently crowded. Just a note, the restaurant does close pretty early at 7 PM on weekdays. You can't miss the location because it's located in the old Pizza Hut building by the Albertsons grocery store. When you walk in, you go to the front counter to order. They will bring your food to your table. There is a selection of sodas as well as beers. The two meats and a side is plenty enough for an average adult. I got the brisket and the pulled pork with the side of macaroni and cheese. Everything was so delicious. I could not finish. There's also a selection of homemade sauces on the table. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. We sat at the bar and ordered a Texas Goes Tiki carafe. Titos vodka and other delicious accoutrement's. What an absolutely delicious drink. Smooth and very flavorful. The bar staff is excellent, always happy to help make a recommendation on food or drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed and gives off a locals vibe, which we love. Lucille's is great overall, a perfect spot to stop and chill in the district. We come often, but not often enough.

As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. When we sat at our table, the team member brought over menus and asked if we'd like anything to drink while we looked through the menu. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. There are other options on their menu though, like BBQ items! Meat platters: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Ribs, Hot Links, smoked Chicken Quarters. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno.
