What a wonderful dining experience. My partner and I were craving Indian food and we read so many great reviews about Blue India so we decided to try it out. The food was absolute wonderful. We ordered quite a few things because we like to try as many things as possible and we really liked every single dish. What I especially liked was that we had options to order different spice levels. We both ordered the lowest level, but we realized we could've gotten the second level because the food wasn't spicy at all. I was SO excited to finally try Blue India- if you have ever walked by you know the distinct beautiful smell that is always in the air nearby. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I have come to Blue India twice now and both times it was equally amazing!! My one recommendation for something that we did not do was to get a reservation!! We definitely got lucky both times getting a table but on my 3rd time trying to go (key word: trying) the hostess was not pleased we didn't have a reservation and quoted 45 minutes but didn't seem sure about it lol Either way, started our meal with some chicken 65 which is a classic appetizer! It tasted amazing and as expected and thoroughly enjoyed it. For my main, I got the chicken biryani with mild spice and omg. This container they gave me for the price was MASSIVE!!! Going forward, I plan to split it bc it is an absurdly huge thing of rice and tasted amazing and the spice was great and the chicken was so tender. My favorite thing. We always order a couple orders of naan, some garlic some plain and their naan is delicious! Pretty good good! I got the samosas, chicken tikka masala (mild) and plain naan. The samosas were awesome and the crust was salty in the best ways. The chicken tikka masala was good but really sweet, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. The plain naan was good but a lot thinner and crispier than I'm used to. We made a reservation knowing that the restaurant was in downtown Atlanta and we were going on a Friday night. Parking is in a parking garage around the corner from the restaurant. Our table was all ready for us when we got there and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice - not too loud and not too cramped. One of my favorite Atlanta restaurants, Blue India, is a staple in all of my work trips! I decided to try something different and go for the Chicken Vindaloo, and Paneer Tikka with Bhindi Chaat as an appetizer. The Vindaloo was absolutely fantastic but I wish I had gotten a higher spice level!! The Paneer Tikka comes with a cucumber raita that adds the perfect amount of flavor with the paneer onions and cabbage. The service was amazing as always and the staff always makes the visit great. This has been my favorite restaurant in Atlanta since I discovered it in 2022. When I need a good comfort meal, this is always my first stop. My go to is the salmon chilli bites to start with the saffron butter chicken as my entree. I've tried other good items on the menus but those two are the best in my opinion. I don't love their mixed drinks, but they do have a pretty nice selection of wines. Additionally, The staff are always so friendly and hospitable. The parking is validated but if full, there are two public parking lots and street parking near the restaurant that's also usually available. You don't need a reservation, but it's always nice to have one just in case. The restaurant ambiance overall is pretty chill. Great for a casual lunch, first date, or small group dinner. read more

The garlic naan was spot on and I like that there were crispy pieces of onion on the rice which was different! To be a greedy person, I do wish there was more chicken in the curry but I'm still very happy with my dish. I picked this place for dinner and everyone liked their food so that was a success! The customer service was so amazing! They enjoyed my 3 month old who did so good during our time there (our server mentioned that to my mom while she waited for me to pull the car around). I've always heard great things about this place so I checked it out with two of my friends on Friday night. We made a reservation for 745pm and it was a little crowded but there shouldn't be a big issue with walk-ins. We ordered the chili mogo fries and the punjabi samosas to start. The samosas were great and fresh (so be careful because they're hot) and came with two chutneys. The chili mogo fries were yucca wedges with a pretty spicy chili sauce but so delicious. I ordered the chicken tikka masala + garlic naan for my main dish and it was so good. The chicken was so tender and the curry was so buttery and creamy - very flavorful. The garlic naan was also nice and fresh (each order came with about 3-4 pieces). They also served us a fairly large bowl of rice for the table. I also got the strqawberry basil margarita which was very light and refreshing. Could definitely taste a hint of the tequila but a great cocktail! Overall - super delicious food that definitely stood up to the hype. Food was super fresh to order and was super yummy. Definitely popular for good reason! As soon as you walk in, the smell hits you and it smells delicious. I knew the food was going to be amazing. It is really warm inside so no need to be bundled up, you'll be sweating. The service was pretty standard. We did have to ask for water a couple of times. When we asked an employee to take our picture, she politely declined. That was a first for me. The food was delicious. We got the samosas and fries. The fries came with curry ranch and that was a nice surprise. If you have two people ordering the same dish, you'll get one plate of rice to share. My friend got roti with his order and he was not a fan, so I recommend getting the garlic naan instead. I asked the server their favorite and they responded with the chicken tikka so I got that. Definitely did not disappoint. You can order the spice level you want for certain dishes. My palette isn't made for spicy anymore, but great options. I'm glad I tried this spot. read more

Worst remixes I've ever heard and very distracting. If not for the music, I'd give this place 5 stars. But I'd go back for the food any day! On my last visit I tried mixed grill, peshawari naan and mushrooms. All were fantastic! Ask for their house hot sauce. It's absolutely amazing. I've tried the food at Blue India a couple times now and it's honestly a pretty decent place to get Indian food. I'm a huge fan of the tikka masala, garlic naan, and chicken 65. Very flavorful, and delicious over rice. The garlic naan is buttery and garlicky, more soft than crispy. The samosas are a little starchy and dry for me so I might not get those again, I think they only have vegetable samosas here. They validate parking for 2 hours at the parking garage nearby which is super convenient. Service was good, food came out relatively quickly, and staff was great. Our party had a gluten allergy, which is usually met with "let me ask the kitchen". Wow! This is high quality Indian food. Was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing Indian restaurant outside the SF bay area. They used quality ingredients and didn't compromise on flavor at all. I don't know if it was because I got takeout last time or the dish wasn't good or they just were having a bad day, but I ate in the restaurant this time and got the chicken biryani and it was absolutely delicious! I got 4/5 spice level and it was perfectly spicy. The rice was super flavorful. The servers were amazing and although the food was a little pricey, there was enough for a second meal!
