We had dinner at Pink Lotus Thai Restaurant this past Wednesday and it was outstanding. I love this restaurant's unique concept -- the menu features cuisines from all four of Thailand's regions: Northern (Chiang Mai area), Southern, Central (what most Americans think of as Thai food), and Northeastern or Isaan. There are many dishes here you won't find anywhere else in Atlanta (and probably the US for that matter). Pink Lotus opened on July 8, 2025 in West Midtown's Stockyards Atlanta mixed-use development (same development as Michelin-listed Avize). It's from founders-owners Niki and Tanya Pattharakositkul, the same sister duo behind 26 Thai Kitchen, Blackjack Bar Tapas, etc. In just 10 years, they've built quite the Thai restaurant empire in metro Atlanta with over a dozen locations and counting. I remember when all Niki had was the one 26 Thai location in Lindbergh in 2016. A second Pink Lotus location is slated to open in Alpharetta later this year (2026). Valet and self parking is available in the Stockyards deck next to the restaurant. Pink Lotus will validate for two hours. Take your ticket into the restaurant with you and they'll put a validation sticker on it. We stayed for over two hours and paid $5 when exiting the deck. You can book reservations with Resy. We got $100 off this meal by using our quarterly American Express Platinum Card benefit since Pink Lotus is a Resy restaurant. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating in a converted-warehouse/industrial aesthetic. It's beautifully decorated with a stylish design. We had four adults and two kids, and tried most of the menu. They were well executed, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was superb. I can tell they've put a lot of time and effort into the menu and they are about details. My favorite was "The Best" Short Rib which - no kidding - was appropriately named. This was the best short rib I've had anywhere that I can remember. You have to try it. Texture, flavor -- wow. Other favorites of mine included the Smoky Isaan Beef Tartare (rich, flavorful), Pork Jowl (very tasty), Rawaeng Beef Cheek Curry, and the Wok-Fried Mushroom Rice (we love mushrooms). The Crispy Soft Shell Crab & Lump Crab Curry Noodles was a table favorite and my wife really liked the Chili Jam Tofu & Eggplant. The desserts were terrific. The Thai Tea Lava Cake is new and is replacing the Coconut Pandan Cake on the menu. As for the cocktails, can't say I've ever had actual roti in a cocktail before, and a massaman curry cocktail at that. Service was great. Manager Kelly and our server Anh took excellent care of us. Wow, wow, wow. This was probably one of my best dining experiences as of late, hands down. From entry to exit, Pink Lotus Thai exceeded my expectations. I was in the area for another event and realized that I was incredibly early and needed to kill some time. Seeing that Pink Lotus Thai was next door and I could use a bite, I decided to head on in. Although Pink Lotus Thai was on my 'to try' list, I hadn't made a plan to visit yet so this was truly a random moment that worked out so well. When I entered the restaurant I was already loving the beautiful decor! I love pink, so the beautiful entryway and aesthetics made for the perfect first impression. There were a number of tables in the dining room, all set with candles, flowers and wine glasses, just waiting for diners to take a seat. I opted for a seat at the bar as I only planned to grab a drink and an appetizer to hold me over for a bit. I was greeted warmly by a lovely woman who then gave me a little dish with a towel to wipe my hands, and then she gave me a delicious palette cleanser. What a welcome! I'm sooo upset that I don't remember the name of the bartenders because they were both AMAZING. Especially the shorter guy with dark brown hair - he was so patient, made me laugh a bit when talking about how awful cell service was in there and recommended/prepared my chosen cocktail. (Which was fantastic) I decided to go with the Ya dong Thai Bird cocktail and whewwww - it was sooo good. The tajin on the rim was the perfect touch. For my appetizer, I opted for the shrimp crudo. It was incredibly fresh, spicy with a sweet kick and hint of lime - absolutely fantastic. The radishes added a nice crunch as well. To finish off my bites, I had to order the mango sticky rice. Who goes to a Thai restaurant and skips on the dessert? When my dessert was brought to my table, the server poured the milk in front of me, making for a lovely presentation. The rice was perfectly warm and the mangos chilled just right. It was so rich, sweet, and ugh, just perfect! Shout out to my girl Brandi W. For recommending Pink Lotus! We were at an Elite event and she mentioned having a great dining experience here, so I added them to my list. They validate parking for up to 2 hours in the Stockyards parking garage. The restaurant is beautiful! I came for lunch on Saturday and they weren't very busy. India greeted me and brought out a sample of their lemongrass tea and a warm towel to clean my hands. The tea was so good that I ended up ordering it for my beverage. They have daily lunch specials, but what caught my eye wasn't apart of it . I started with the calamari that had one of the most delicious and flavorful sauces I've ever had. For my entree, I decided on the short ribs. The dish was bursting with flavor! It was tender and absolutely delicious. While it's a bit on the pricier side, I have to admit that the food was worth it. Their menu is extensive and has many options to choose from. The customer service was amazing. Pink Lotus Thai has such a cute and vibrant atmosphere! I really enjoyed the festive decor, colorful aesthetic, and cultural touches throughout the restaurant. The lychee martini was also really good and definitely one of the highlights of my visit. Unfortunately, the food itself just wasn't my favorite. I'm more accustomed to traditional Thai dishes without glass noodles, so the texture and preparation caught me off guard. The tamarind sauce also had a flavor profile that was different from what I'm used to, so my meal didn't quite hit the mark for me personally. Stoped here tonight while in the area with family. It was packed but luckily we didn't have a wait. We were greeted by every staff member we came in contact with. Our server was Evan. He was knowledgeable, attentive and fun. The manager also checked in with us. Food: we had the appetizer trio, short rib, pad Thai, crab rice and Khoa soi. In a word, EXCELLENT. Online reservations showed it booked out until 9PM; however, we called the restaurant and were able to snag a 6PM time slot. Perfect for a near 3yo toddler in tow. From Rana, the hostess who made great recommendations to Kelly, the owner who checked in on us to Evan, the best waiter, who was so gracious and brought a birthday plate for our lil birthday girl, the decor, the service, the FOOD were all top notch!! We ordered and enjoyed: the pad thai (not syrupy sweet with the perfect thin rice noodles), braised short rib, steamed branzino with the impossibly delicious basil sauce, curried crab with lump crab and fried soft shell crab and finished with the Thai tea lava cake. I'm a little late writing this review that I have to tell you about this place. My friends and I went for Valentine's Day. We decided to treat ourselves. Finding parking was pretty easy and the restaurant validates for two hours so that's amazing. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful. There's plenty of seats and it didn't feel crowded. Except they said us at a round table that was very close to the waiter stand, and I felt like it kept coming in between the two tables which was a tight spot instead of going around, but that was fine. Our server Evan was amazing! He really took time to answer our questions about the menu and even shared some of his favorite items. I was very hesitant about trying one of the Valentine's Day special items because I'm not particularly a fan of coconut and it involve coconut milk. Evan assured me that it was one of their best dishes and that if I didn't like it, we could switch out for something else. Well, let me tell you I absolutely loved the dish. It was the Khao Soi short rib. This dish had tons of short ribs in it along with four giant prawns and noodles. The broth was so amazing. It makes me sad that it's not a regular on the menu and it absolutely needs to be. This dish was $55 on Valentine's Day but well worth it. I'm gonna list this as like the top for 3 things I've ever eaten. We also got the crispy kale salad, which was so good. My tip is to order two if you're sharing. I am so impressed with this place - from the ambiance to the decor, and the food OMG! We came for Sunday lunch and they had a few tables, but not overly busy. Parking is validated at the garage next door, which is always a plus. They gave us a hot towel and a tea sampler used as a palette cleanser (but I drank that whole thing in one gulp because it was tasty lol). I was pleased to find out they offer their lunch menu set daily until 2:30 pm. Their lunch set is half portion of dishes they have on their regular menu. I ordered the Phuket lunch set (fried chicken with garlic fried rice + crispy kale and chicken salad). I forgot which lunch set my husband got but he got the fried calamari + Thai basil chicken. We also shared their grilled sausage with green chili dip. Here's my thoughts on their food: Fried chicken with garlic fried rice - Chicken was flavorful but I found a bit too dry. The garlic fried rice wasn't overly garlicky. This came with a sweet Thai chili sauce and cucumber salad. Crispy kale and chicken salad - The best thing I had during this time. Ground chicken mixed with spices and fresh herbs with kale that's deep fried. Served with yummy very yummy sauce and every bite is a flavor bomb. Fried calamari - Quite a bit chewy but the sauce it was served with was deliciously spicy Thai basil chicken - didn't get to try but my husband really enjoyed this dish Grilled sausage with green chili dip - Grilled sausage was very very flavorful. This was served with sticky rice, cucumbers and pork rind. A good starter. We thought service was odd though. While our server checked in on us a few times and refilled our water, he mentioned at some point that my husband's lunch set already included the grilled sausage (it did not), so he cancelled the order without asking us, but I wanted to try it so we still ordered it. I went here last night in a date and the ambiance was fantastic. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Our server checked on us frequently and recommended great food and drinks. The green Thai chili dip with sausage was unique and delicious. The dip had a light flavor and the sausage was a bold and strong flavor with a spicy kick. It had pork rinds so we ate it like chips and dip. The calamari was good and the sauce was supposed to be the stand out but it was just ok for me. If you like spicy, you may enjoy it. The roti curry was simple but flavorful. The vibes in here are so picturesque and fun! They were able to accommodate a medium sized group easily on a weekday and provided great service. We tried a lot of dishes so this is a sampling. The Kale and Minced Chicken salad and the Khao Soi were particularly delicious to me and I'd definitely get those again. And for a fun surprise, the women's restroom was large, clean, functional, and pretty! Hubby and i ordered drinks. He enjoyed his vodka cocktail, but the star of the show was my tequila passion fruit cocktail- delicious! Service was good in a way that more upscale restaurants provide. Everyone wanted you to have a good experience. We both order lunch sets. Husband got the pair with chicken and a kale salad. He reallyyy enjoyed his meal. The vibes here are super cute and great for a date night or a night out with friends. Skip the espresso martini, it was surprisingly only of the worst my husband has had. I had iced Thai tea and that was tasty, but very sweet. As far as food, everything was good, some things more stand out than others. For starters, we had the shrimp crudo (great), the coconut soup (very good), and the fried kale salad (good, but not a must imo). For mains, I had the broiled branzino (by far, the highlight of the meal and the best branzino I have had) and my husband had the chicken (forgettable). Service was pretty slow although our waitress was sweet, so they may just be getting their footing. They were nice enough to celebrate our anniversary by bringing us two champagnes and mini sorbets. I wouldn't say we loved either thing, but I really appreciated the thought behind it! They also have free shots of juices and some alcoholic drinks that they offer at the beginning and end of the meal, which is a nice touch. Overall, a good experience. So this is a very cool little spot. I only went for drinks but the environment was really nice and aesthetic was pretty pleasing. You have to figure a place to park but there is street parking and a lot not too far. Most likely it's not free anywhere so just keep that in mind. Well I guess you should know that by the time you get to the area that free parking is a luxury. This spot has indoor and outdoor seating, so the indoor is very decorative and the outdoor would be really nice on decent day with good weather. The indoor also has a side room that you can probably use for private parties or something along those lines. The bar was pretty cool. There's only one bartender so it took a while to get some attention but we got it. I ordered the espresso Martini. Now before get to the drink part, you'll be giving a dish served to you with water and a little mini tile that absorbs water and you could use to clean your hairs. That's a really nice touch. Next you'll get some tea to cleanse your palate. The tea that you get will definitely taste like fruit loops LOL. But just keep that in mind. It's just to cleanse your palate. The Martini was pretty good. Although it did have coconut in it, which had a pretty lofty aftertaste. Not a fan of coconut, but the drink itself is pretty okay. Overall, I would probably go back and shake out the food there. Walking around. I saw some things that looked pretty good on other people's tables, not being creepy, but it was worth me taking a look at and checking out. So we stopped in just for drinks and to take in this new restaurant that I had no clue existed. Considering the rate of closures in the area I was shocked to see something new. The aesthetics are definitely there. We sat at the bar and were greeted with menus, a shot that tasted like fruit loops (it was some kind of situation to cleanse your palate but it literally tasted like kids cereal) and the magic napkins that grow when you wet them. Cool to see in real life. The espresso martini was made differently than your standard run of the mill espresso martini. There were notes of coconut in the drink which was different and unexpected. So if you do not like coconut, don't get this drink lol. I came here for a Sunday night dinner with a couple friends. I was nervous about the parking situation reading some of the reviews but when we arrived there was no valet and the deck is right next door which was super convenient. We had made a reservation for 7p and were seated right away when we arrived. I was blown away by the decor and how pretty the restaurant was! When sat down, our server brought over lemongrass pandan palate cleanser drinks and a cooling towel for our hands which was a nice touch. Our server went into great detail about the menu and gave a lot of recommendations which was nice but also a little overwhelming. The prices for the food were a little absurd, especially considering the portion sizes. For 3 of us, we ordered the massaman bombs (we were intrigued by the panipuri shells), charcoal chicken skewers, stewed beef curry (which we were told was like a green curry), and khao soi. When the food arrived we realized we would need a few more servings of rice which were $5 each! The massaman bombs were tasty but we got 3 tiny balls for $13 and they were cold which was very unexpected for curry. The main dishes were good (although none were really that spicy and the chicken didn't come out as skewers, just filets, so just interesting presentation for what seemed marketed as upscale Thai food). But overall the food was decent. Where the night took a turn for the worse was after we had paid our bill, we were finishing up when our server and another server returned to the table. They then proceeded to essentially shame us for not leaving a big enough tip. When paying the bill, the handheld POS recommended a MINIMUM tip of $35. We did not spend enough for that minimum tip amount to make sense and manually adjusted the tip. (We spent $140 which would mean standard 20% tip of $28). We felt so uncomfortable by their badgering, I had never had that happen before and we left immediately after. Overall, what would have been a decent but pricey dinner spot turned into one I will never return to. There's better upscale Thai restaurants in Atlanta like 26Thai. The restaurant was decorated chicly and the manager personally went around to tables to check in multiple times. There was a very minor hiccups with drinks not coming out but the staff handled it with grace and took it off the bill without us asking. We were excited to try Pink Lotus cause we love 26 Thai but I left feeling seriously scammed. PARKING: The restaurant validates parking for 2 hours. Valet attendants will try to block you from self parking and force you to valet park, but you absolutely can self park and should. FOOD: Crab Fried Rice ($55) - Honestly, where is the jumbo crab meat cause I sure didn't see it. It's just egg fried rice with crab meat. There was much left to be desired considering the steep price point. Do not recommend this dish. Spicy Clams with Thai Herbs ($19) - They didn't have clams and substituted it with mussels. The mussels were very tiny. Thankfully, the sauce was good, it was briny in a good way and the Thai basil gave it nice umami. I do think it would have tasted much better with the clams though. SERVICE: The hostesses were very welcoming and we got welcome drinks (lemongrass + pandan) and a warm towel. It seems like they are going for a spa vibe cause it smelled like a spa as soon as you walk in. The servers were good as well. It did seem like they were still learning to stack plates and serve food. Made us nervous a couple times thinking they were going to drop plates. Are you an elder millennial who whispers passive-aggressive observations to your partner the moment a server walks away? Do you find yourself nostalgic for restaurants that seemed glad you walked in? Have you been somewhere this year where the music was at a volume that respected your conversation? Have we got a place for you. There happened to be four staff at the host stand when we walked in, and all of them greeted us in Thai. Not the canned welcome you brace for, or a bored hello. Just four people, simultaneously, being warm in another language. It felt genuine, and it set the tone. Mya, our server, greeted us with hot towels and a one-ounce non-alcoholic Taiwanese palate cleanser. It is a small ritual you do not see at most restaurants in 2026, and we were delighted. We ordered the calamari (the dipping sauce alone could carry a lesser restaurant) and a three-cocktail flight on a single Thai herb: a Thai Manhattan, a vodka cocktail, and the Thai Bird, which Mya called a "porch pounder." Reader, Maya was right. The vodka drink, separately, was the best vodka cocktail I have ever had. I am putting that in writing. For mains we shared the crab fried rice (containing crab, generously, in pieces you can see) and the chili jam tofu and eggplant with forbidden and sticky rice on the side. Timed correctly. Portioned correctly. Delicious. I have nothing to complain about, which is a problem when you are trying to sound balanced. Mya, sensing weakness, then talked us into the Thai tea lava cake (a holiday-weekend special with edible gold leaf) and later brought an unsolicited mango brandy sangria as a thank-you. Service was the headline, and not just from Mya. The tables around us were getting the same kind of attention from their own servers. A manager came by. It is almost sad that good service is rare enough to notice, but here we are, noticing. **Practical**: Reserve. Parking deck next door, two hours validated. Entrees $30 to $50. Music at a volume that lets you talk to your dinner companion. The women's restroom (per my partner) has hand lotion in it. This place is paying attention to things you do not have to pay attention to. Mid-meal we were already saying we would bring my mom here. I would go back tomorrow. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I discovered it on a whim after reading an article naming it one of the best new restaurants in Atlanta in 2025, and let me just say--they were absolutely right. From the moment I walked in, I loved the décor and the overall space. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I went twice within three days. The atmosphere alone makes you want to stay awhile. The food is outstanding and genuinely authentic. At one point, I even turned to my friend and said, "I don't need to go to Thailand anymore--this restaurant is here now." I ordered the fried branzino, pad Thai, coconut soup, crab rolls, mango sticky rice, crème brûlée, and coconut cake. Nearly everything was incredible, and I would happily order all of it again. The only exception was the coconut cake--it's on the right track but could use a little refinement. With some tweaks, it could easily become a strong dessert option alongside the already fantastic menu. The service here is truly unmatched. On my first visit, I was served by Tee, and on my second, Evan. Both were exceptional, and I honestly found myself wondering how this restaurant managed to hire two amazing servers at once. You're treated incredibly well here, and it makes the experience even more memorable. I will absolutely be returning again and again. Pink Lotus was amazing! From the ambiance to the food, I thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Our waitress was very detailed, explained the menu thoroughly and was patience with our questions. I had the fish which is definitely worth trying! For appetizers we did the chicken skewers and my friend did the beef short rib for his entree. Overall 10/10 and I'd return. I solo dined and had the Pink Lotus Signature Trio, Smoky Issan Beef Tartare, and golden crab rolls. The trio was my favorite. I could have eaten 5 of those. The food and the experience were really good. The basil chicken does have a kick to it but overall very good. The pad Thai was flavorful and the dipping sauce for the calamari 10/10. The service with the drinks was a little slow and the resturant may have had 15 people dinning in. The ambiance was nice. Decorated to perfection, could see birthdays or holiday parties there. Excellent ambience, delicious food and superb service. This place was on our bucket list and I'm so glad we finally checked it out. The appetizers were delicious. - Massaman shots to die for! For main course we tried the fried rice, delicious khao suey and the steamed branzino was so flavorful. The Dessert sampler was great too - we tried the mango sticky rice, pandyan cake and coconut icecream. Our server, India was incredible at recommending items and the service was par excellence! We came here for Valentine's Day. Lynn was our server and he was phenomenal! Super friendly, knew the menu well and gave great recommendations and entertained our 4yr old daughter who wanted to talk his ear off. When it comes to the food my wife got "The Best" short rib. Even though it was her food, I ate most of it. We got a side of garlic rice instead of jasmine rice. The short rib, garlic rice, and the chimichurri style sauce that comes on the side made one of the best bites of food I have EVER HAD! I got the crab curry and I killed that too. I came to Pink Lotus during the dinner rush, and even though it was busy, everything came out in a timely manner. The food was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the chicken, which had a wonderful smoky flavor with juicy, tender meat and a perfectly charred exterior that added depth to every bite. The seasoning was well-balanced, bringing out the natural flavor of the chicken without overpowering it. I also tried the Crab Curry Noodles, and they were absolutely delicious. The curry sauce was rich, creamy, and aromatic, coating the noodles beautifully. We went here for a birthday dinner with a reservation on a Saturday night. We arrived a few minutes late due to traffic, but we got seated right away with no problem. Angela was our server and she did a great job explaining the menu as well as recommendations. The food had lots of flavor and was delicious. We got the chicken satay for appetizer and it was a 4/5 (flavorful but parts of the chicken tasted a little rubbery). For main course, we got the steamed branzino, khao soi, and the crispy crab curry noodles. It's been a while since I've had khao soi that good (5/5)! The flavors and spice level was perfect. I also really liked the crab curry noodles, although you do have to put the ingredients together as it was separate. The flavors in this dish was intense (my husband said it was too spicy for him). The branzino was probably my least favorite, but my husband really enjoyed it. It was the texture for me (skin was kinda mushy and peeling off the fish on the bottom) that was a bit off putting. But it tasted good once I got past the textures. Lastly, we ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was good (4/5). The rice wasn't as sticky and the glaze was kind of watery, so it could have been better imo. Overall, food and service was pretty good! The service was a bit slow. I get that it was Saturday night and it was busy. But the amount of time it took for the food to come out was especially long. I think we waited about 20 minutes after ordering the dessert for it to come out. It wasn't our server's fault-but maybe understaffed in the kitchen? They do offer parking validation, which is also nice. I'd definitely come back here again-but maybe not on a weekend evening. read more

Ambiance and was great, good blend of industrial look with Thai influences. We didnt make reservations and though the restaurant was not super busy we got seated at the bar. The bartender was very nice and friendly. They have had warming napkins and a refresher palate cleanser when you sit down. We got the grilled sausage with green chili for appetizer. I got the khao soi and husband got the tom yum rice noodles. We also got shrimp pad thai in case we hated any of the other dishes. We tried this place based on recommendations of several ATL Eatz members...but I was disappointed with the food actually. My favorite part of the meal was the grilled sausage and i felt they didnt give enough sticky rice. My Khao soi noodles were just okay but at least had some Thai flavors, a little on the salty side for the broth. The shrimp pad thai was okay, tasted better the next day. For the cost there was literally 2 shrimp in there. I hated the tom yum noodles that the husband got. When I tried it and it was so lemony-sour and the noodles were not even cooked properly. No tom yum flavor whatsoever. I told him it was disgusting and to stop eating it, he said we are paying a lot for it and wanted to not waste....told him we should have sent it back. Since he ate almost half the bowl we just sucked it up and didnt return it. When packing our food they asked if we wanted to pack that, it was a hell no. There's are many thai restaurants in Atlanta, I would try something else where you don't have to pay to park and then spend a lot on a meal that was half decent. read more
