Great food. Decent prices. A little disappointed with take out services recently. I've never had a problem before, so it was my fault not checking the bags until I got home. All sushi rolls I ordered were missing. When I called, I declined coming back to pick them up as it is 30 minutes from my home. I asked for a refund on my card and they said that was fine. After reading the review by Joy W., I decided while in Hanover to try Blue Koi. Having grown up in California, but now working in central PA, I have missed the taste of fresh sushi and now I have finally found a place that I gotta say has the best roll I have ever tasted (Green Jade specialty roll). The combination of fresh salmon, avocado, with another layer of spicy salmon and tempura flakes is like a little bit of heaven in your mouth! I also tried the Roti Canai pancake with curry dipping sauce and the red bean mochi ice cream, which were both excellent. I will definitely be back again to try their other rolls. Too bad I am mostly in York, or I'd probably be here at least 1-2 times a week. read more

Great dining experience. My wife and I were visiting gettysburg and decided to venture out of town for some sushi. I ordered the Chirashi and my wife had some tempura udon soup. Ok, so I have an obsession with green curry! Anytime I get Thai food, I can never seem to order anything else on the menu, no matter how good it sounds. The food here seems very well prepared and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice as well. The menu seems pretty focused on Thai and Japanese food, but is not overwhelming as some menus can get at these fusion type restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some quality Asian food in the Hanover area. read more

Had Sushi and it was delicious. We had searched for Mochi all over Philadelphia the day before. Asked and were happy to find they had it. Ordered each flavor, red bean vanilla, mango and green tea. have gone here off and on and today received horrible, embarrassing service and will never return nor recommend this place to anyone. I ordered cashew shrimp and received ginger shrimp. I called to say i would be bringing it back. The young man on the phone told me his manager was not available and call back in 30 min. I responded that it simply needed to be remade. He then told me cashew shrimp and ginger shrimp were basically the same. I told him i would be on my way back to which he told me i could not come......seriously. When i showed up he asked if i was the person who yelled at him on the phone. First of all i was on a car phone and certainly not yelling. I told him i was not yelling anymore than he was. He said he was entitled to his feelings. Well so am i. At this point the whole restaurant is looking. All i want is my food remade. He stated the cook was working on it. He continued to tell me he did not appreciate me yelling or speaking to him. If the cook is already remaking it I'm not sure why the cashier was continuing to have an issue. He then went into the kitchen and yelled. Very unprofessional. All if which i heard including the side conversation with the young lady who also worked there. I'm appalled ay the way i was talked about. Fyi if you want to trash a customer do it so that they can't hear you. Bottom line the wrong dish was made. There should not have even been a discussion or an argument. Instead i was treated like a criminal even though i had the wrong dish with me and the receipt. I spoke to him the way he spoke to me. I would sincerely hope race had nothing to do with this but judging from some comments i could hear i would say it did. I will not return ever nor did i even eat my food. Always passed it over, located in a strip mall in hanover pa of all places, blue koi is the BEST Japanese and sushi around for at least 25 miles. Always been fat and happy after a blue koi meal and the sushi is fresh, delicious, and of a good variety read more

What let down... our second visit to this restaurant was completely different experience. Ordered shrimp Pad Thai and it was probably the worst I have had. The noodles were pasty and dry, there were no bean sprouts in the dish nor much of anything else. It contained 6 nice sized shrimp but even they were bland. 6 spring rolls had good flavor, but we're extremely oily. We also ordered a Cantonese chow mein that was slightly better, but also dry and lacking vegetables. Cooks night off? Not an experience I would repeat for $55.00. read more

This restaurant deserves four stars for the food, but we had a very bad experience with service and billing for our visit on June 28th 2017. We were presented two bills for the same meal. The server explained that it was a mistake and that one of the bills would be voided. Another server said that the extra ticket belonged to another table. We returned to our home to discover that both tickets had been charged Restaurant management stated that the extra charge would be deleted the next day, but it was five days before it was finally resolved - altogether a very clumsy bit of customer service. read more

Amazing! I am a very picky Thai food eater and the Blue Koi blew me away. The food was light, fresh and delicious. They had a variety of food from sushi to Japanese and Thai. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I highly recommend the Thai basil fried rice or the Pad Thai.
