Chicken with Garlic Sauce and Chicken and Broccoli came out hot and seemed very fresh with good flavor, the fried rice also gets a thumbs down. 1st time ordering after just moving here, and the 2 dinners we got were excellent. Wonton soup is delicious. The fried cheese wontons are definitely something we would order again. Not the most flavorful Chinese restaurant I've been to. Wonton soup had nice looking wonton. But overall in was missing something. The good thing it was not overly salty. The egg roll was good but it was full of cabbage and two shrimp. So that too was lacking something. Service was fast and friendly. I have had worse in this area. I will probably be back. There are so many Asian types of restaurants popping up everywhere. You have to be really good to stay in business. read more

When I opened my takeout container, the juices were overflowing and sprinkled the placemat underneath it. Signs of abundant giving. The broccoli was crunchy yet soaked with sweet, savory, garlicky, and slightly spicy brown sauce. I devoured the Chinese American food more quickly than I have eaten takeout food in a while. Maybe I was hungry, but it was so satisfying to stuff my face with white rice and broccoli. We put our orders in online and requested that the food be vegan and that did not seem to prompt any weird responses from them. The main reason this restaurant gets extra stars from me, though, is that they were very accommodating to my requests for curbside pickup. I also notice that the staff wear surgical masks, which makes me think they care about public health and safety. read more

1 star for not allowing people inside out of the rain to order and pick up their food. They have a table set up just outside the door that they talk to you from. Well I was expected to stand in the parking lot during a rain storm with a half a dozen other people. As I was complaining about standing in the rain both the person in front of me and behind me said that they had ordered almost an hour ago and still did not have their food. Walk in to pick up our order & still concerned, get it home & it's delicious!! They are now our go to for Chinese food. I purchased a meal here one time for lunch a couple months ago. I got General Tso's Chicken with rice. I thought the food tasted good, the price was fair and the portions were actually pretty good for the price. I definitely plan on coming here again. buyer beware., i ordered lomein and fried rice., and 4 egg rolls., the worse Chinese food ive ever had., the egg rolls were nothing but cabbage in them and tasteless.... the lomein was made with over done noodles., and tasted like chemicals !! fried rice had hard little vegetables in lt and no flavor., the absolute food nightmare., paid to much to just throw it away !!! never going back !! read more

The wife and I are huge sushi fans and were pleased to find Golden Dragon. While the quality of their product is satisfactory the prices are entirely to high for when your getting. Also the staff seems to be in a perpetual state of displeasure. If you want so quick take out and don't mid paying a little extra to avoid a drive Golden Dragon might be for you. I would highly recommend not eating in however do to the staff and the lack of any beverages. Seriously they don't even have fountain sodas. They have a cooler and sell bottles of soda at convenience store prices. read more

We used to live near them and ordered quite often. We have since moved out farther, but had the occasion to get an order from them. The food quality has declined significantly since were last there. Also, they now charge 50 cents if you use a credit card. That is in violation of the PA State law stating that they can charge "up to 4%". So if your order is under $13, you are paying more than the law requires! I got two sodas for $3.65, and the 50 cent charge would have been in the14% range! A complaint has been filed with the PA Attorney General's office. read more

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant ever. I would eat there or get takeout at least 2-5 times a month. They had the best food out of all the other places in the area and I stopped going everywhere else. For the past about 3-4 months the quality has decreased terribly. I've gotten hard chicken, fatty chicken, cold food, and today I got eggrolls to go and the bottom of the bag was filled with grease. I took them out and it was a huge mess. Grease was just runnin out, not dropping, running. I lightly squeezed and it just poured out. I'm disappointed and disgusted. Probably won't be eating here anymore for a really long time if ever again. I don't know how the best place in town all the sudden became The worst. read more

I love the sushi, it's always made fresh upon ordering. There are a couple things I don't like. Mostly just opinions. They use smoked Salmon in all of their Tuna rolls. I would prefer a milder Tuna in my spicy tuna roll. They never add enough chopsticks, sauces (duck/soy) to the order, and they never add enough fortune cookies. We've ordered over $100 worth of food and gotten 2 fortune cookies, 2 chopsticks, and 1 sauce! I'm not sure if it's because they are free or what they are thinking but if we don't ask for enough for 4 people (or more), we get 2 no matter how much we order. My favorite things to order are the Rock-N-Roll, egg drop soup, and crab meat wonton. Have had numerous sushi rolls and always fresh. Their Lo main is wonderful. I love the fried noodles that come with their soup. Most of these are just preferences. I would recommend them any day. read more

Always loved this place, but the delivery driver was very rude. He Wanted a bigger tip and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't. Then told me to never call again. Don't worry bud. Defiantly have no interest in your poor customer service. I don't like to pay for a service where someone is treating me poorly and told him to forget it take the food give me my money back and he refused. The other driver (Don't know if he still works here or not) was so nice, always happy and smiling! I ordered at least 1-3 times a month for the past year. This is by far my favorite place to get Chinese food. I don't believe they have delivery, but I am more than willing to make the drive to pick up an order of shrimp and broccoli. I've watched them make my food to order, so you know you're getting a fresh serving whenever you give them business. New favorite Chinese restaurant! My husband and I heard about this place from friends and decided to give it a try last night. The main attraction being that they deliver. i am not aware of many chinese restaurants in the Hanover area that offer delivery. I had read the reviews on here but decided to give it a shot anyway. I loved everything. You can order online. I love being able to review a menu, select what I would like to order, add special instructions, and pay all online. There is a $1 delivery charge but I found that the overall cost was less expensive than where we normally go. The delivery was prompt and the delivery guy was very nice and friendly. The food was AWESOME! My husband ordered egg rolls and the chicken lo mein. It is probably the best lo mein that I have had in a long time. I had the garlic chicken- the sauce was full of garlic flavor, the chicken was cooked very well and had a good taste, and there were a ton of vegetables!!! Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely be going here from now on! read more

This was the worst experience ever . First, when I called into order for delivery. She took my order and my card number and was about to hangup on me and I said don't you want my address? "Oh that's right it's delivery" . After that she said a different address then I gave her . I corrected her with my address. Then gave her my phone number . Waited 1 hr and 10 mins before calling back. She then told me they tried to call me and then told me the first address that she THOUGHT it was . Secondly, she then repeated a wrong phone number to me . Very rude and not at all what I expected . I will never be back . Great for take-out! They make their own hot mustard & I have been really pleased w their sushi & their dinner specials. The quality is comparable to your basic asian take-out in a major metropolitan area like Baltimore. The staff are receptive to your friendly nature or respectful if you are more reserved. read more

Awesome food! This is always a treat for the whole family! Service is swift, orders have always been correct and delicious. We have always been treated kindly by all staff and again, as for service, our orders are ready fast and friendly! I disagree with other reviewer who states that they've somehow gone, "downhill..." or that the food and service is anything but great. We just ordered from there a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic! Fork tender meats, flavorful sauces and veggies cooked but still crunchy, like Chinese should be! Best place to get Chinese take-out in the area! It is a bit expensive for us, but when we want a treat- this has been our go-to for almost 9 years now. This had turned out to be our only place to eat Chinese food. There sushi is by far the best. They now deliver to your door all around a great place.
