I can't even give a fair review because we were never served. We came on a Wednesday evening around 6 to grab dinner. It was super busy with a live DJ or something outside. We sat at a table inside. I never even go to yelp until I go to a business at least two times. Both times, the service was terrible. I sat at the bar, and waited an average of eight minutes to be acknowledged. The first time I actually waited another 11 minutes to have my food order placed, The second time, it took so long after one drink was brought to me that I just decided to cash out and leave. Both times, the entire bar was empty. There was absolutely no reason to not give attention to the people who were there ready to give you big tips and revenue for your establishment. I walked in and was handed a menu and told to seat myself and That someone would be right with me. Well there was only 1 clean table, so I took it. After 15 minutes someone finally came to me. I placed my order and then after 10 minutes I had to ask another server to check on my beer. Literally 2 minutes later my food came out. You can tell they use the same fryer for the fries as they do for the fish. This could be dangerous if someone has allergies. I'm in town for business and will not hear again. This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. They have added and taken away menu items through the years. Some I wish they would bring back but oh well. It was a little packed and not enough staff as the manager had to come and take the order. Came here just in time for HH. I wanted to get the watermelon mule but they were all out of watermelon syrup. I ordered the juicy peach crush. Peach vodka mixed with Sierra Mist and peach fruit dropped in. Very good drink. This was an appetizer outing for me as I ordered the extremely good crab dip that comes with pretzel bread, slam burgers (mini cheese burgers) and the maple jalapeño bacon wings. We came here since it was right by our hotel. We could seat ourselves and were greeted pretty quickly. I started with an Orange crush which was pretty good and some water. The menu is basic bar food. I wasn't sure what I wanted to get but I was told that their rock fish bites and their "famous" tartar sauce was worth trying. So that's what I got. It was an appetizer so it didn't come with any fries or anything so I ordered a side of tots. They price for tots was a little steep at almost $5. But Oh well. The tots were good but the rockfish bites had more breading than fish and the sauce wasn't very flavorful. Overall I didn't enjoy them at all and felt that my $16 meal was for a bunch of fried breading. The atmosphere was a little questionable as the lights started to dim and some crazy music began to play. That was a solid cue to get out of there lol. read more

What can I say? This USED to be the spot. I'm 100% certain the bartender didn't add alcohol to either of the drinks my friend and I ordered. He blamed it on a new bartender, but even the seasoned one was a terrible bartender. My friend waited an hour for a turkey wrap. She ended up canceling the order after the server kept coming out saying that the order was 5 minutes from ready, then 10min, then they had to ask her what she ordered. Just a mess. But the manager on duty obviously knew a couple either through her sorority or whatever because they got seated quickly, order taken, food and drinks come out quickly. she was very attentive only to them. We asked to speak to her and it took her 30 minutes to come to our table and she came with a nasty ass attitude. She caught my friends wine but still she had an attitude. The table behind us also had issues with their order and then the manager on duty made a comment about people not appreciating what they do. And that because they were nicer to her she comped their meal and still brought it out. I don't need you to get me anything free. I just need you to get what I ordered in a decent time without the stank attitude. Miss Pixie Cut Manager has an attitude problem. It was clear that the server was scared of her. My husband and I were there on a Friday night recently and it took us forever to get served. We were patient and talked to the host but again no one spoke to us. Not to mention we asked for a manager and apparently it was too busy for the General Manager to talk to us, but my husband saw him. So Apparently he was too busy talking to the Bartender. He didn't even bother to ask why we looked so distraught. Once we were finally talked to we got Cold food, were left with empty drinks, and no one cared. I could see the bar side and the dining side sat at bar side but no menus on the table so I went to look for a menu. I found menus at the other entrance but no servers or hosts. Hubs and I visited the Turtle for our biweekly date night. We've been here many times; however, tonight was different. It wasn't as loud, rambunctious, and crowded probably because there weren't any major sports events to bring out the crowd. Nonetheless, we had a great time. Was pleasantly surprised they had a Happy Hour menu as we've never been given one before. We ordered 2 drinks, water, and loaded tater tots. Our waitress remembered it's from our last visit and promptly took our order. Appetizer arrived timely, but it wasn't as good as we expected (it looked over the top and yummy!) as we were hungry, we just ate it. I ordered a Cobb Salad for my entree and hubs ordered fish tacos. Ordered thru an app which was malfunctioning on their end and kept canceling my order after 3 calls to the app and 3 calls to Green Turtle my order went through on the 4th try. As if that weren't bad enough, after waiting an hr for my order I recieved a smear of crab dip on each side of my crabby melt(see photo. There's barely a dollop on the bread. One of the pieces of bacon is all fat and I have more bacon than dip(see photo) . I also ordered 6 Bone-In wings. I received a carry out full of boneless wings. I know this place gets a lot of bad reviews for the food and service. I've lived in the area for close to 6 years...pre-pandemic this was one of our go-to's for after work happy hours. I wasn't crazy about the food but the drinks were always fine and the atmosphere and space was nice for such affairs. Since the pandemic or maybe just in the last year or so, I've been hooked on ordering thru their app for curbside. My go to is the Ty Cobb Salad, pretzels with beer cheese and it's pretty consistently delish! Sure there are times when you can tell the beer cheese is less fresh than others and the last time I ordered the chicken on my salad had an aggressive grill to a few of the slices, but it does the trick when I've got a craving for that meal from them. The app isn't the greatest but when it works, it's fine! I think I've had one instance where I ended up going elsewhere that day because I couldn't get the app to work. I will continue to order carry out, but now I don't work locally so happy hours are fewer and far between (usually if I crash one with my former colleagues!) read more

We end up ordering Honey old bay wings that was not fully cooked. The blue cheese was watered down didn't taste anything like it. Order shrimp Fiesta for 13.99 cal 840 came with some nacho chips and green sauce. It wasn't good as i expected when i read the menu. It came with 2 tacos and not 3 for 13.99. The taco was not good. We also ordered Jack daniel ginger ale with less ice and it came with a lot of ice and less liquor. A margarita that didn't taste like no tequila so we had to order 2 extra drinks with 2 extra shots All of total of 113$ not worth it. I will definitely not come back here. read more

Like the previous reviewer, my food leaked through the basket onto the table. Ridiculous. I had a carne asada quesadilla with tough steak . I used my knife to cut the steak which tore the paper in the cheap basket. I was literally cutting my food directly on the dirty table in the outdoor patio area. I have visited The Greene Turtle more times than I can count. Now that I live in Florida I don't get there as much but I stopped in last October while in town for work to watch a Ravens game. In fact this use to be my local spot for all the games. It felt great to watch a Ravens game with locals! I only had beer on this trip and watched from the patio. It was a little too loud for me inside as the acoustics were set up that way I think:) I have enjoyed many food items here over the years such as wings, soups and salads. I went to watch the Ravens game here on a Sunday. This is a Ravens bar so it was great to watch the game with tons of fans. The drinks were fine and they had beer specials for people who drink that stuff. I had some mid-shelf whiskey and I was happy with that. However, my food left a lot to be desired. I ordered a burger and fries. It was the smallest burger I've had that wasn't on a 2 for 3.5 menu!!! It was all bread and lettuce an not much burger. I was truly disappointed. I came here on a recommendation from my hotel on a Wednesday night. I guess it was karaoke night and from what I can tell the retirement home dropped off half their residents. If you want to hear terrible karaoke this is your place. The food also wasn't very good. I had the shrimp pasta and there was hardly any sauce, it was a bunch of basically dry noodles with shrimp on top. I also had a cup of the Maryland crab soup that was tiny for a $6 cup of soup, that was also not that flavorful. Finally the service was very slow, however, the waiter was the only one working it seemed so I'll cut him some slack.
