Foggy Bottom Chicken Breast baked with breadcrumbs served on sautéed spinach with a cream cheese sauce.

Got the fried seafood platter and it was delicious. Came with Haddock, Clams, Shrimp and Scallops on top of fries and onions rings. The service was spot on and very attentive. It was a very hot day but the space had AC was adequately maintained temperature. No complaints whatsoever.

Came here for a great dinner, I really enjoyed the food. This is more of a hometown, local place, than a tourist destination. We ordered Wellfleet oysters to start, and for our meals I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo, and my friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi. My plate was overflowing, as you can see in the pictures. It was so good! When we were first seated, we were offered drinks and delicious bread, but we had to ask for water about 30 minutes in which was weird. There were also flies flying around during our meal which is one thing, but they were constantly landing on the glasses and by our meals. The food was really great, especially for the price, but it would have been nice if the service was more attentive, especially since we were the only table and everyone else was at the bar. OYSTERS: 4.8/5 SHRIMP SCAMPI: 4.5/5 SEAFOOD FRA DIAVOLO: 5/5 The food is very good, but the service was a little slow even though it wasn't very busy. It wasn't horrible, but it would be helpful to offer water first. ambiance: 3.5/5 drinks: 4/5 food: 4.9/5 service: 3/5 Blue Marlin Grille: 3.5/5

    Buffalo shrimp

Love this place! We started with the buffalo shrimp appetizer, and it was excellent as always--perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat. I ordered the fish sandwich, which is always good, but received the tail end of the haddock. My husband, however, was a bit disappointed with his dish: the shrimp and scallops baked with breadcrumbs. Unfortunately, the breadcrumbs were overpowering--so heavily layered on top that it was hard to taste anything else. Still, overall a great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Great service and amazing food! We struck out a few times this weekend but the Blur Marlin Grille did not disappoint. The shrimp and snow peas were fantastic and the spicy chicken scampi was delicious.

The Soggy Bottom Chicken was delicious!

The service was excellent. The chicken was very good. The lobster roll came with a lot of lobster meat. (I thought it tasted decent, but not the best I've ever had.) Overall, it was a great experience.

We decided to come here after the boat ride with Essex River Cruise. Service was great and we ordered: Apps: Potato Skins, nice and cheesy. And buffalo shrimp with blue cheese, which everyone enjoyed. Entree: I ordered the steak tips with mash and veggies and YUM! The marinate was spot on and I finished it all in one setting. Really really good! Dessert: ended with a brownie sundae and enough said

I really enjoyed the mussels, the white wine & butter sauce was so tasty. Their fresh made bread with whipped butter was good. My friend had the seafood chowder, which I tasted and enjoyed. He also had the fried clams , which he said were not very tasty. They have a very large menu And specials. Great waitress and service.

A small clam chowder A single lobster tail. Well, no longer Cole slaw comes with platters? Disappointing as I liked their Cole slaw. But with seafood prices getting way too high.. At least at Woodman's , they were in range or lower than other places at 44.24 for a scallop plate size without my Cole slaw . Scallops were excellent and always day fresh vs soaked in chemical solution . The perfect fry, batter and bountiful quantity. The fried lobster keeps me coming back... Sweet tasting , seems sweeter fried. Onion rings are the different bit greasy batter in a good way vs Clam box ( also good rings) but a light batter...The beauty of the Woodmans rings onions are that they appearing to be the Vidilia sweeter bigger onions type. Very good . Clearly a different wet batter from the scallops fry batter . Clam chowder was very good , full of ingredients and I always want more clams, more cream . I always use the extra butter from my lobster tail to add to the chowder to flavor it ... paprika or pepper would take any chowder up a notch. Plenty of seating, enjoyable outside setting with umbrellas which is another reason I enjoy Woodmans vs. other competitors, but I still eat at all of them in the area for different attributes. Another nice deal here today was the Ipswich ale truck outside in field by the views of the marsh serving drafts from the truck taps. Great views, delicious seafood , a cold draft , cool breeze .. Great New England experience the American way in the Land of the Free where the Ipswich clam is... I regret not ordering the 2 Clam cakes for chowder dipping . But Rhode Island is still my clam cakes spot in downtown Providence. Woodmans experience was seamless, efficient ordering process, guy handing out menus and, oyster crackers, water for the waiting line speeded up the undecided people before they reach the order takers. He should be promoting clam cakes pieces soaked in chowder to elicit people buying them as add ons . Well managed, efficient, quality food, consistency , dining areas, but the sweet tasting fried lobster tail a differentiator at Woodmans ...

You order at the register and then find a seat at one of their many tables that are available. The staff are really friendly and even offered up their own chairs since we needed an extra seat at a booth. The food comes out fairly quickly. The portions are really good for sharing with a group. The fried clams were a little bit on the chewy side, but had good flavor. The steamed clams were fairly sandy even after being rinsed. It was still a good experience and there was plenty of food to share.

I really appreciated the amount of fresh meat packed into the toasted brioche bun. However, the seasoning was a little too heavy on the mayonnaise, which masked the natural sweetness of the lobster. The side of French fries arrived piping hot and perfectly crispy. It is a decent option if you are craving seafood, though it needs minor tweaks. Overall, it was a perfectly average meal that left me satisfied but not entirely blown away. The Fried Clams which were a mixed of textures. Some of the clams were beautifully sweet and tender, while others were noticeably overcooked and chewy. The batter had a great crunch, but it lacked the necessary seasoning to make the dish pop. I also ordered a side of onion rings that were greasy, though they still had a decent flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful for a casual dinner. I might return eventually, but I am not in a rush. The shrimp looked fantastic when it arrived at our table with a beautiful golden-brown exterior. Unfortunately, the shrimp themselves were a bit rubbery and lacked that fresh, snappy bite you expect at a seafood joint. The French fries were standard, nothing spectacular, but they served their purpose as a side. It was a perfectly mediocre dining experience that did not justify the slightly high price tag. Despite the okay service, I will probably look for a different spot next time. If you want a cushy 11-to -7 this isn't it. This gig is seasonal, which means you have a small window to make your money and bust your tail.
