After we finished eating, I couldn't help but stand in line to try their lemonade here! The lemonades are $5.95 a pop & we ordered 3 of them. Tasted GREAT! I did not find it to be too sweet and not too sour, just right. The wait to order was a bit long since there was only one cashier & she was walking back and forth from the kitchen to the pick-up window & back to the ordering window lol. After arriving in Rockport and walking around town a bit, I was ready for a meal. I really wanted clam strips and BOOM there was Not Your Ordinary Bistro. It's simple and cute. It doesn't have any indoor seating, but there's outdoor seating on the front and side of the cafe. I ordered and then my buzzer was going off before I knew it. I can't give this enough stars!! The woman who served us was so accommodating and nice. We didn't wait long for our food. I got the BLT which had plentiful bacon! My friend and I stopped by the Bistro and got the most basic of dishes - a tuna melt - and it was the best tuna melt either of us has ever had. This was in the summer of 2022, and he and I have independently been trying to replicate it since then - unsuccessfully. My cousin and I spent the afternoon in Rockport and very much enjoyed our lunch here! She was pleased to order fish and chips as she's Irish and has been homesick for it. She very enjoyed the fish she thought the tartar sauce was good. The fries are known to be "the best" - she agreed. I am not a seafood person. I was glad to see other things on the menu. I had the Greek chicken wrap. It was delicious. The chicken was seasoned nicely. It was not overfilled with lettuce. They have one walk up and one pick up window. The street gets a little crowded with other Rockport visitors but you can still wait "socially distant". Very friendly service. Hand sanitizer at the pick up window. We live in Rockport and this place became our family's regular lunch spot this summer! So many choices - my kids love the burgers, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. Bad. Ordered two hot lobster rolls with butter and some clam chowder for $80. No clams in the chowder (basically potato soup) and received the lobster rolls cold and with mayo...on a hotdog bun lol. Every since I transitioned to gluten free I haven't found a place that serves gluten free bun lobster rolls. You can guess my excitement when I came across this little eater and noticed that they in fact provided an option for the celiac folks. It was pretty good probably a little bit more seasoning on the lobster roll but the fries were to die for. They were crunchy and perfect in every way. The cleaned the tables as soon as people leave so you're always seating on a clean sanitized table. We've been here twice and both times, the food was really good. The first time, I had the warm lobster roll with butter and fries ($20.95), and lobster bisque ($5.95). It was the best lobster roll I had all summer, and the bisque was excellent. My partner had the cold lobster roll ($18.95) and clam chowder ($4.95). He also thought it was very good. Yesterday I had the chicken gyro sandwich ($9.95) and clam chowder ($4.95) and it was the best Chicken Gyro sandwich I've ever had. The pita bread was fresh and seemed to be home made, and the meat was in chunks and was grilled with lots of spices. The sauce was garlicky, a little spicy and very tasty. Although we were in Rockport, my husband and I were craving greek/Mediterranean cuisine. Hence we settled on a Spinach pie and chicken kebob salad at this bistro.
