Enjoyed my experience at Blue Nails. Really love the way Danny did my nails. So Classy and elegant I didn't like the color on my toes but they politely & quickly changed it. Thank you so much Blue Nails.

I definitely love my nails . I come here all the time . They are very professional and they do my nails exactly how I want them . They also make sure that I am satisfied before I leave the the shop.

My 5 starts are for Danny's work! I went in explaining how other salons don't listen when I specifically ask for a certain shape but he delivered amazing results. I really loved my nails.

Last minute thing. I visited the area and had a lot of time on my hand. I got gel manicure and regular pedicure. Good quality work and relaxing vibe and fair prices. I would go there again and recommend this place. Loved the foot and hand massage!

Excellent customer service and excellent service! I showed them a photo of what I wanted and they understood assignment with no problems or questions asked! Perfection is their signature.

Menu of services - more expensive than advertised online.

The staff are VERY nice and the salon is clean. Seriously- the staff are really very nice. Sadly, kindness doesn't replace skill and attention to detail. The cuticle and polish job shown in the pictures speak for themselves. Also, they up charge for the very basics (e.g. callus removal- without paying more it's just a few strokes with the pumice stone- although it varies by staff- I sat next to someone who had at least some callus removal done). Furthermore, advertised prices online aren't accurate. The price list is available by scan code once in the shop. So, I dropped $65 (mani/pedi) and will be spending even more time removing all of the gel polish on my own, filing down my cuticles so that they're smooth, pumicing my own feet, sanding down my own calluses, and repainting my own nails. While I waited for uneven layers of my nails to air dry (no fans), I watched someone come in a 10 minutes before close) and had a better result than mine. That was hard to accept... The mani was okay - I didn't want polish, and they didn't buff, so - again - more DIY. I called in advance, came in with flip flops, all of my nails were clean and bare, and I paid in cash. I even brought my own polish (but liked one of their colors more). I was polite and courteous (I wasn't on my phone. I really hope that they use their friendly kindness to create a better and more consistent (and professional looking) result for all of their patrons. My expectations from a nail salon are: 1 - I'll be able to use the features of the chair (e.g. sitting upright, using the features of the chair). Even though I tried to adjust the chair and asked for help, the nail tech didn't understand me, and kept inviting me to scan the QR code for the menu of services. I gave up and stuck my purse behind my back to help me sit upright. 2 - The basic pedicure/manicure includes the basics - full polish removal (although I came in with clean nails), cuticle removal and smoothing, a good effort at exfoliation on my feet, heels, and toes/corns, I'll tolerate the: "massage" (which is usually just a slathering of stinky lotion; I'd much rather more exfoliation), filing nails into a uniform and flattering shape, smoothing of skin, a base coat, 2-3 even and professional looking coats of nail polish, a top coat, and for my nails to be dry enough to drive before leaving. I expect my nails to look as if they were professionally done. 3 - if there are two armrests, and my manicure is happening at the same time as my pedicure, I expect the manicurist to switch sides instead of asking me to stretch my arm to the other side. Like me, many women my age have frozen shoulder - so it's painful to sustain that stretched position. Again, I explained, but was nodded at.

    Thank you gift (lotion)

Blue nails is amazing! This is the second time I get my nails done here and let me tell you, they don't cease to satisfy you. Their attention to detail without the attitude is phenomenal! In addition to taking the time to educate their clients on nail health is really appreciated. Oh and I almost forgot, they have a top of the line warm mist treatment to go with your pedicure, take a look at the video and pictures I posted to see it in action! If you're tired of changing nail salons because they fall short of your expectations , look no further give Blue nails a try and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thank you so much for my Thank you gift!!! Pedicure mist treatment A pedicure leg mist treatment is a refreshing and revitalizing step often included in a pedicure service to soothe and invigorate tired legs and feet. Here's how a typical pedicure leg mist treatment works and its benefits: 1. Refreshing and cooling Leg mist sprays often contain ingredients like menthol, peppermint oil, and eucalyptus oil, which provide a cooling and tingling sensation to tired feet and legs. This cooling effect helps to alleviate fatigue and swelling, especially after long periods of standing or wearing tight shoes. 2. Hydrating and soothing Formulated with moisturizing ingredients like aloe vera and natural botanicals, leg mists can help prevent dryness, irritation, and cracking of the skin on the legs and feet. In essence, a pedicure leg mist treatment provides a quick and effective way to refresh, soothe, and deodorize tired legs and feet, leaving them feeling revitalized and pampered.

Do you do gel X or a builder gel?

Currently we do not have tools to make gel x and builder gel. Maybe in the future we will. Now we just do acrylic nails.

I moved to Hayward recently and had been bouncing around trying to find a new nail spot--came across Sam's page because I was curious about Russian manicures and she does them beautifully. Just a heads up on the booking process: the site directs you to request an appointment, but it's not auto-confirmed--Sam has to accept it manually. For my first appointment, I booked for the next day and wasn't sure if it was going through, so now I just DM her directly to check in. Super easy once you know the flow. Sam herself is super sweet and easy to talk to. She recently went solo with her business, so it's just her now--and honestly, I love that. It's chill, one-on-one, and you can tell she really cares about quality. She has a gorgeous selection of colors and uses high-end products, which I think is why everything lasts so long. The first time I went, my nails were in sad shape and I honestly didn't think they'd bounce back. A month later? I've got legit nails I'm proud to show off. If you're looking for a new nail tech who's talented, kind, and really knows her stuff, definitely give Sam a try. I've already planned my next visit.

First, I was shocked that a basic kids' pedicure for my 8-year-old son cost $27. All they did was trim and clean his nails, followed by a short leg massage. That price seems extremely high for such a simple service, and there was never any discussion of pricing beforehand. The biggest issue, though, was my own nails. I paid about $55 for my gel manicure--$35 for gel polish, plus an additional $20 for a French tip and a small Mickey design. When I woke up the very next morning, less than 24 hours later, the entire gel polish had already peeled completely off one of my thumbnails. The French tip and Mickey design on other nails were also already lifting and peeling. I've never had a gel manicure fail this quickly. If I lived closer and didn't have to drive across the bridge, I would absolutely return to request a full refund because this level of quality is unacceptable. Between my dad, my two kids, and me, we spent close to $500, so we expected much better workmanship. My daughter's nails actually turned out great, so this review is strictly about the quality of my nails. One other thing that bothered me was my dad's pedicure. The staff kept offering him additional services during the appointment, and he kept saying yes without realizing each one came with an extra charge. By the end, his pedicure totaled over $100 plus tip. I really think pricing for add-on services should be clearly explained before they're performed so customers can make informed decisions. I've attached photos showing my thumbnail the morning after my appointment, along with photos I took the night before. It's incredibly disappointing to spend this much money and have a gel manicure start peeling in less than 24 hours.
