New to this area and looked at pizza joints near where I live. Chose Blue Naples based on good reviews.....one of two things is true! They have their staff writing the reviews or.....I just go them on a very bad night. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and onion, my standard test for a pizzaria. I waited for the pizza and got it right out of the oven and drove it home to share with my wife and son. 10 minutes max. The crust was completely sogged out, the sauce was meh. Never have I seen sausage cut like pepperoni on a pizza! The crust around the edge was inedible, hard as a rock. How they get more than 2 stars on any pizza review is way beyond me! Service was friendly, albeit untrained on the basics. Two customers in the place during dinner hour should have been my warning. read more

We stopped here during travel to avoid the 'normal' fast food. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! The ladies who took our order and served us were so pleasant and helpful. We noticed that they were very quick to clean the tables and clean them well. We felt like the restaurant was very clean. We ordered the cheese fries with bacon; the cheese is mozzarella. The pizza was delicious! The crust seemed homemade but wasn't burnt and the cheese was perfect. Should have taken a picture! We will be stopping here on our way through again. read more

First timers. Service was great but be aware you order at the register and fix your own drinks. But super friendly. Ordered 1 Caesar salad, 1 slice of pepp, and the calamari. Pepp was great, Caesar was ok (way too many croutons, dressing was so good), big problem was the calamari. Did not taste fresh, super fishy, not crunchy, and not properly cleaned. After a couple bites. One of us was unable to eat anything at all. They removed from the check and were very unapologetic. My favorite Italian joint. Pino is this big ass Italian dude that makes the best NY style pizza in Winston. Penne carbonara is fire too. If you like Italian try them out. I liked the service an I believe the regular pizza looks good but I would not recommend their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It's a pizza with an entire bottle of red hot poured on top. It's not even Buffalo. There is no need for this. Just toss the Chicken in Buffalo sauce. There is so much red hot (hot sauce) on this that it isn't edible. We just cut the middle out and ate what we could. The cook should try some Buff Chicken pizzas from the chain pizza places and adjust how they make it. Also, Pepsi sucks. The waitress Olivia,Lauren,and Kimberly will make you feel welcome!Let's just say these girls are the best!!! Please do not eat here. Everything from the dining room to the food itself was terrible. A cramped seating area and dirty seats completes the dread of spending a single dime here. I, however, decided to give it a try because looks can be deceiving. I was sorely mistaken. The food came out on plastic plates and covered in cheap melted cheese (We got the baked ziti and the lasagna. Two dishes i did not think was possible to screw up. ) and upon the first bite i was greeted by rubbery pasta, horrid mushy ground beef, and sauce that tasted like pasteurized Chef Boyardee. It was so bad we left and went to firehouse subs instead. it ruined our appetite for Italian food for weeks. Their only slightly redeeming quality being their service, but even the employees who took my order seemed to know it was bad. (I asked for a to-go box and they automatically gave me the biggest one they had without seeing what i had leftover) The other reviews praising this restaurant must have been planted or they have no taste buds, but i would review this experience a negative star if it were at all possible. read more

First. The atmosphere made it feel like a pizza joint in Brooklyn. Pino the owner was making pies while we waited to get food. When the food came, the slices were smaller than I've seen. But ultimately the taste was great. A little greasy, but that can be overcome with some napkins. I tryout enjoyed this place and their Pepsi fountain drink tastes great. read more

Have lived here for a few years and finally decided to try the pizza. Called in an order for a large pizza, half Hawaiian and half sausage and mushroom and an order of garlic knots. My husband went and picked it up and when he got home with our food, I was surprised to see he had 2 pizzas. For some reason we ended up with a cheese pizza and the one we ordered. Opened the box and was really disappointed with what we saw. Thought maybe it tastes better than it looks.... Nope. The dough was really salty, sauce was mediocre at best, and the toppings were scarce. Garlic knots left a lot to be desired. Tried the cheese pizza, but was disappointed as well. We ended up throwing all of it away.... What a waste of money. They really need to work on their dough and sauce recipes and take a little more time putting their pizzas together. We finally got around to visiting this place, located in a nice strip shopping center on Union Cross Road. Because of all the road construction going on in this area, getting in an out is like working your way through a maze., looks like it will be that way for a while. This is a small, narrow restaurant with a limited amount of seating, and little of that is really comfortable - and the place was rather warm at lunch today. In addition, because the place is small, and the kitchen area is open, there is a lot of kitchen noise, so it is not the most relaxing place to have lunch. We had a couple of the lunch specials - an Original Stromboli (small) with a drink, 2 slices of Pizza with Green Pepper, Extra Cheese, and Pepperoni with a drink, and a nicely sized House Salad with decent Blue Cheese Dressing - cost was just under $15, before tip. The Stromboli was good, not great - it was a little lite on filling and had a stronger garlic taste than I prefer - would not reorder. The Pizza was very good, with some of the very best thin crust we've tasted in the area. This could be an excellent pizza with the addition of some more, evenly spread tomato sauce, and we would ask for additional sauce on a revisit. We'd try the pizza again, and almost certainly will, but would do so with a call in/take out approach. The folks here are nice, service was good, pricing was very reasonable. read more

This place seems like a little hole in the wall Italian joint. We've recently moved to the area and with not a TON of options nearby we stopped here for some food after our big move. The eat-in area is quite small. We have since ordered pizza for pick up 2 more times since our initial visit. We usually go with a large cheese and pepperoni and it comes to $12.28. The menu looks pretty extensive for a small restaurant but we have yet to try anything other than pizza. The pizza is pretty good! It's thin-crust (NY style). One of the few downfalls is that this place doesn't deliver. We'll definitely order again!! read more
