Freaking affordable!! Fish for b'fast? Hall yes!

I'm a sucker for a smoking black drum...and so I pulled over for whatever was next. I gotta say nobody made me feel unwelcome and all workers were busy feeling the heat of an intense flow of Saturday breakfast customers. They display all the food in a buffet style glass case and you can see what looks good. If you haven't had fried fish to start your day, perhaps come by this place around 10am and join the crowd. BBQ will be ready around noon.

    .50 cents. Fruity.

Hahaha I am into it! Grady burger Monday. Ribs and fried chicken from the food bar are delicious too. And serve yourself soft serve. Frozen slush cups. Place doubles as a minimart. Covered patio (a few flies) or to go. They do breakfast too. And dinner. Fried pork chop. Curry goat. I was told Fri, sat, Sunday for hot BBQ. Even warm it was sensational! The only thing I don't have anything nice to say about is the chitterlings. I refer you to the other review for a description of this acquired taste.

On my quest for soul food someone recommend I try this spot. I had the lunch and that is another yelp update to come. So I ended up in the deep hood because the cook who was super nice, clean and professional told me to come for the "$2 Dollar No Holler Breakfast". It takes place from 6am - 11am. Mind you this is in a convience store. As I walk in the store at 7:15am this guy drinking an Old English 800 by the door starts making cat call sounds at me.... really?????? Oh well I am tough and love a food adventure. I hear everyone upgrading the sausage selection for $1 so sounding like a regular I order the grits, bacon and I add a peice of the popular sausage. It comes with a biscuit and a drink. Your drink choices are Faygo soda and or water. I opted no drink. The grits, totally flavorless but hot and fresh. The eggs same flavorless but hot and fresh. The extra thick cut bacon. Let's just same some of it tasted like liver while the other pieces I could have chewed on all day like bubble gum. The extra popular sausage was really good, the biscuit was perfect and cheesy. And the service excellent. Now the people that frequent the store is another story. The cooking area is immaculately clean. So overall I will never go there for breakfast. But if you are down to your last dime, and hungry and you want the most Bang for Your Buck.. I suggest you go there. Last but not least I recommend the $1.69 sweet potato pie by the register. And there is a frozen slipper in a cup by the register it is banging delicious as well. I gave it 4 stars for cleanings and friendliness and the amount of hot fresh for for little .

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.

While I love Aldi, unfortunately this "mall" location is my least favorite…read more The store is new and huge, with very spacious aisles and plenty of room to move around. It's also the cleanest Aldi I have ever been in. Like most Aldi locations, this store offers many unique items and lot of ways to stretch your food budget with discount prices. There are 2 big reasons why I dislike this Aldi... It may be the most crowded Aldi I have ever visited, even during non-peak hours. There are 2 other nearby Aldi locations I prefer that are far less busy. The parking lot is always PACKED. I most often have to park far away and still it is a hassle to navigate leaving here, while others are hoping to get my parking spot. So while this is an excellent store, I will just visit other locations that are less popular.

New Aldi! The weird part is it's in the Tyrone Square Mall. Never seen an Aldi in a mall…read more The aisles are definitely wider, & I can tell it has more space. I don't like how this Aldi's is set up backwards compared to mine. The restroom is straight ahead first aisle from the entrance to the back instead of being closer to the cash registers. There are a couple employees checking out and self check out. Definitely a nice new clean Aldi. Check it out while it is nice and new and smells new too! Right now they have Rose stems to plant for 8.49 and some flower bulbs. That's what caught my eye rather than the food. Just got a case of water for 3.29 which is the cheapest compared to other places.
