    Egg Foo Young is delicious!

This was a great find near downtown Westwood. Great food and congenial settings and open for a late lunch. Also had very yummy egg foo young!

Not bad, not bad. I've been on the hunt for a good Chinese food spot in the area and it has been a challenge as I am very picky with my Chinese food. I ordered the jumbo shrimp and lobster sauce, an egg roll, and scallion pancakes. I'll give the shrimp and lobster sauce a 7.5/10 only because it could've had a little more flavor. They give you the nice plastic containers and not that styrofoam garbage. The egg roll was a little tough and stale and actually had my throat in discomfort after I ate it so I'll give that a 4/10. The scallion pancakes weren't the best but with the sauce was an 8/10. The delivery service was fast and the delivery man properly greeted me which a lot of places I find don't do so that is ultimately why I gave them a 4/5. The only thing I didn't like is when I initially called I was sensing a bit of a dry attitude because I was taking a little bit to decide what I wanted and was asking her questions about certain entrees. The woman taking my order abruptly dismissed me saying "I should call back when I figure out what I want." I understand you may be busy but the rudeness was uncalled for.

Have only done take-out and the food has always been hot and fresh. Not unique in any way, typical Chinese menu, but again, good food.

The food was top quality and the atmosphere was on point. Genuinely one of the nicest experiences I have had with Hibachi in the state since moving here from Chicago. 10/10 would come again despite the 30 minute drive.

There was plenty of parking, and upon walking in the restaurant looked very clean. Since it was close to closing and I had called ahead, we were seated right away at a hibachi table with just the two of us. There was an extremely loud birthday party seated next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault. While ordering, I wanted to get appetizers and sushi before our hibachi meal, but I felt a little rushed by our server. On a previous visit I remembered there being a Tuesday appetizer special (I thought it was half off), but when I asked, I was told they had never offered that promotion. Food: * Rock & Roll Roll - 8/10: Fresh and tasty, although the crab had a slightly stronger smell than I'd prefer. * Shrimp Tempura Roll - 9/10: Very good, but I asked for extra eel sauce and was given barely a tablespoon. * Steak & Shrimp Hibachi - 5/10: The flavor was excellent and everything was cooked exactly as requested, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. * Chicken & Steak Hibachi - 5/10: Again, the flavor was great, but the portions were disappointing. We ordered extra chicken, which ended up being a good decision because the regular portion was very small. Each plate had less than a cup of rice, and although I requested extra mushrooms instead of zucchini and carrots, that substitution wasn't made. * Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings - 10/10: Easily one of the best items we ordered. Perfectly crispy with great seasoning and just the right amount of spice. * Scallion Pancakes - 9/10: Crispy and flavorful, but they could have used more scallions and a larger portion of dipping sauce. Drinks: I ordered a lemon drop martini made with tequila, but it tasted like it was made with vodka. I asked if it could be replaced, but that request was declined. They brought me pineapple juice to try to make it more drinkable, but it didn't help, and the drink still remained on the bill. That was definitely a 0/10 experience. Our hibachi chef was fantastic. He was engaging, acknowledged my fiancé's birthday, and honestly made up for the lackluster service we received from our waiter. One thing diners should be aware of is that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but it isn't verbally mentioned. It's listed as a "service charge" on the receipt, so it's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. I asked about it to confirm, then tipped our hibachi chef separately because he deserved it. The receipt also includes wording encouraging additional gratuity, which could easily lead guests to tip twice if they don't notice the automatic charge. Overall, the food quality and flavors were still good, and the hibachi chef made the experience enjoyable. However, the rushed service, disappointing portion sizes, drink issue, and lack of transparency about the automatic service charge kept this visit from living up to our previous experiences.

The shrimp summer rolls were good and I liked that there were mint leaves in them. We got the pho 29 special and the broth was hearty and they are generous with the different meats. The brisket and tendon pieces were high quality. I also liked the coconut pandan dessert custards. They come warm and are not too sweet--you can add a little whipped cream they come with for a bit of extra sweetness. I think this place might be one of my top two pho places in MA, so it's a shame we don't come to this area regularly. We placed an order today for orange chicken and white rice, but after pickup and arriving home we discovered the rice was missing. This is not an isolated incident, as items are frequently omitted from our orders. When my partner called to address the mistake, the initial offer of a simple credit for the rice was inadequate given the inconvenience. I followed up by offering to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the missing item, but this request was refused. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism during our communication. After I requested to speak with a manager, the staff was reluctant to assist and eventually hung up on me while I was trying to resolve the issue so my partner could enjoy his meal as intended.

I ordered a lunch combo and the small order of bone in ribs. The hot and sour soup bowl small but packed full of ingredients... very good . The lunch special of chicken fingers, wings, fried rice , egg roll. The chicken fingers and wings were fresh fried and excellent wings. Fried rice reheated, egg roll reheated. Egg roll would have been great fresh fried as ingredients were very good. The small order of ribs were meaty and would have been excellent if fresh cooked rather than a reheat and cold ...they were still very good cold as meaty ... needed more sauce, char as when fresh cooked under broiler . It seems improving food wise and can be good one day and just ok the next. I'll visit again as next to my Benjamin Moore excellent paint store and BJs wholesale

Gotta downgrade them from my previous 4 stars to 3-- and 3 might be generous. Some highs and lows…read moreover my last 3 visits, but way too many lows to ignore, even as a former fan and defender. -- Spareribs: Until the past year or so, I regarded Tahiti's spareribs as top 5, maybe even top 3. No longer. The last 3 attempts have all been reheats and all looking like a scattering of random bones from different racks, with charring the only strongpoint. Some were close to cold and some were tough to chew. On average: Average, but formerly elite. -- Egg Roll: A rollercoaster of quality on my recent visits. Narrower than before, but reliably celery-filled and crunchy inside. The shell is sometimes crispy, sometimes bendy, as if sitting around a while. Interiors sometimes moist, sometimes very dry. Flavor has been above average every time. Overall, above average to well above average, though formerly near-elite. -- Lobster Sauce: I've liked the relatively new recipe that's less like motor oil and more on the light side with whole black beans in the mix. But the most recent one was bland and watery. Still good enough to be average, but formerly near-elite. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken: Fingers merely flirting with crisp and typically low meat-to-batter ratio. Unusual topping of onions, peppers, pineapples, and no cherries, with a sauce that seemed an exact compromise/blend of the typical golden and red styles. Sour along with the sweet, but subtle. A little above average. -- Pork Fried Rice: Among my 3 recent visits, solid once, disappointing twice. Fresh once and long in the tooth twice, and varying levels of bland all 3 times. Minimal pork nuggetry. Typically lukewarm. Overall, average, but formerly near-elite. -- Orange Beef: Nice mix of sweet and tart (caramelly along with the orange), good crunch, and good quantity and thickness of the tender beef slices. Very solid dish, and it even rivals Bernard's version, which is saying a lot. A rare bright spot among recent visits. Seems like this place is mailing it in lately, as if they're knowingly cutting corners and sacrificing repeat dining business because their real money comes from the bar. It's a shame, because I used to be a big fan.
