DELICIOUS! And the staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Even if just for the amazing smell when you walk in the door.

Pinecone is by far one of the best places to get ice cream in Walla Walla. They are constantly creating new flavors and always have a variety of flavors and toppings to chose from! The honey lavender has been my go-to for years now and I can never pass up the free sprinkles. The employees are always so sweet and delightful to talk to! Lastly, I always love the seating areas! It's not too crowded but fits lots of people. Everything is decorated very nicely and makes it a great place to hang out.

Smells amazing....nothing better than a freshly made waffle cone with cookies and cream ice cream on a hot summer day!

    Cheers!!!

Pine Cone creamery was the best ice cream parlor I've been to in a very long time. A great variety of flavors and plenty of seating both inside and outside. The scoop sizes were very generous for the cost. They also offer mixed scoops. One scoop; two different flavors. Super cool. Check out the video of the bathroom. It is the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen an ice cream parlor. And it's super cute to.

Peach cobbler ice cream in a waffle cone... look at all the flavors listed on their menu!!

Such a cute little store with a long line of flavors! We walked over from our airbnb for some ice cream on our last night on Walla Walla. Had we gone on the first night I might have visited more often to try more flavors. The peach cobbler was gooood. As was the honey lavender and Bourbon caramel pecan ( I think those were the names of what my friends had). I'm very visual, so it was hard for me to decide on a flavor with so many options and not being able to see them all. This made me second guess my choice more than I would've liked. Whenever I visit an ice cream shop (which is fast more often than I should admit), I get a cone. Mainly to reduce wasting a cup and spoon, but also because who doesn't like a waffle cone? I didn't love that Pine Cone had a hole in the bottom of their cone and filled it with a marshmallow. While I appreciate the solution they have so I didn't have melting ice cream running down my hand or the front of my shirt, I'm vegetarian and don't eat gelatin. While I was okay with the marshmallow being in my cone, i can imagine others might not be. And there are plenty of shops making waffle cones without a hole at the bottom... PS Pine Cone - perhaps you might consider replacing the single use plastic spoons with a reusable or compostable version

Good flavors but they charge a dollar extra for vegan flavors and it's not mentioned anywhere.. weird and lame

Great variety of flavors. Service was great and quick. I can see how on a hot day this place will be busy.

Great waffle cones. Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream on the left and Thai Iced Tea on the right.

What a great addition to Walla Walla. The ice cream was excellent. They had several good (and some unique) flavors on hand (I split a scoop between Klicker Strawberry and Chocolate and Peanut Butter, while my wife got Thai Iced Tea flavored ice cream). The waffle cones were fantastic - they were a little fragile - but that was because they weren't too thick as some waffle cones are, and the taste was amazing. The space was great as well, with a nice indoor space and a great patio (and right next door to another Walla Walla favorite, Graze).

It was pretty busy inside, but after a bit we were able to order. I ordered an iced soy latte with a pump of almond. Also a regular iced latte. I also ordered a few pastries, the Kouign Amann, Almond Croissant, and Goat Cheese and Herb croissant. They unfortunately don't heat up any pastries which I wish they would because I do think it would make the pastries better. The Kouign was my favorite. It was crunchy and delicious and sweet, I would get again. The goat cheese croissant was pretty good but nothing too special. As for the Almond Croissant, I was very disappointed. It had hardly any almond filling, and there was no almond flavor. I wish they would put slivered almonds on it but it was completely lacking. I would skip the almond croissant completely. As for the coffee, I got a regular iced latte and a Soy almond latte. The coffee was not good at all and it makes me sad to say but after a few sips... I had to throw it away! I felt like it threw away $7. It was very watery and the syrup tasted off. This is usually my go-to at other shops but I just couldn't drink this at all. Overall it was cool to try a pastry or two but I wouldn't make another trip here.

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

I was bicycling around town in the 100 degree heat and contemplating what temperature a brain would actually steam cook at when I saw a sign in a dingy strip-mall next to a supermarket that said "Pineapple Pete's Shaved Ice". I'm going to level with you, it doesn't look like much on the outside, about as close to a zero on curb appeal as it gets. However, it sounded a lot better than heat stroke, so I locked up my trusty stallion of a bicycle and wandered over, only to see to my dismay that there was a "Closed" sign on the door. I started to turn away in despair when a man walked through the door holding a styrofoam cup and said "Hey, they are actually open!" Turns out that guardian angels are real and mine is in his mid-40s with a respectable pot belly and a love of sugared ice. That seems about right. From the inside Pineapple Pete's is a surf oasis that carries off its Hawaii theme quite well. Pleasant decor, fun signs, picnic table seating. There are too many options, but I quickly settled on a rootbeer float shaved ice, that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle. A medium was more than enough for me, and I'm not what you would call a dainty eater. I could go on, but what is the point? If you are in Walla Walla and you like snowcones this is the place you should be, hands down. If you aren't in Walla Walla and/or you don't like snow cones then I don't know what to tell you, I'm not sure why you started reading this review, let alone finished it.
