My expedience with this dry cleaners has been nothing but positive. I have brought comforters, rugs, sweaters, and coats that were cleaned perfectly, ready when I was informed they would be and mostly friendly and helpful service. I had only one experience where the young man gave me my rugs but didn't offer to help me get them to the car. All in all its been a very good experience otherwise!! read more

This place is in disrepair and dirty. For the price they charge for the machines one would think they could repair some of them. Out of 40 washers and dryers 15 were out of order. I called to confirm they had industrial sized washers as I had large comforters to clean. I was told yes only to arrive to two of them broken down, leaving one. I was told my items would fit into the standard sized machines which after attempting, only half of the item fit, proving the attendant wrong. Do NOT go to this place. read more

Don't get alterations here. I brought in a very expensive pair of jeans that took me forever to save for and she ruined them. While she was pinning them I kept telling her that was too short I thought she fixed them to the length I requested but when I tried them on they are too short. They are ruined. Will never go there again for anything! read more

Absolutely agree with previous reviewers who noted that this place is filthy and multiple machines are in need of repair. The wear and tear makes one feel like they've walked into a stranger's basement laundry. I will definitely be sticking to Newmarket's laundromat in the future. read more

Yes nice people with a business plan of running the place into the ground. Its filthy, and a minimal of 6 machines are broken. I hate going there. I guess the idea is that folks who don't own a washer or dryer don't deserve a clean safe environment. Oh by the way... This sure beats the hell hole on lincoln street. I definitely do not agree with the reviewer who gave this business 5 stars, but that was five years ago so maybe it was under different ownership. I cannot speak to the other reviewers concerns about the self-laundry facilities because I never used them. My experience with this business has been strictly for dry cleaning services. Up until today they had done a pretty good job for several months, not great but acceptable, even if very slow. However, today there was a problem, and the way it was handled was unacceptable. My husband brought home items dry cleaned without any attention to the specific instructions we gave them. This is especially upsetting for several reasons: 1) We are in need of the items in two days for a trip we are taking; 2) There was no staff person on the premises today (a weekend) with any authority to assure us that the problem would be corrected within that time period; 3) The "senior" staff person who was present was more interested in arguing about the problem than solving it. That is not the type of service I would expect from any dry cleaner, but especially one which charges the prices Blue Ribbon does. Without the ability to speak with the owner for the next two days (the same day when we need the items) and only a possibility that the owner's son might call us "sometime" today, we decided the only thing we could do was take the items to another dry cleaner, one that is further away in Hampton, but one which had staff available today to assure us that the problem would be corrected and the items available by 2pm Monday. In other words, we had the inconvenience of driving further and will have to pay twice in order to correct a problem which never should have occurred if Blue Ribbon had paid attention. When we moved to Exeter, we were told that Blue Ribbon was the best dry cleaner in Exeter. That seems to be damned by faint praise. I believe good service should be commended, and I have written several reviews to that effect about other businesses which deserved it. Blue Ribbon proved that they definitely do not so I have written this review for the benefit of others who may be considering using Blue Ribbon. read more

Took a suede trimmed sweater coat to them on 10/24 Left a $20 deposit and was told 2 weeks planned to wear it as part if my outfit to a Thaksgiving gathering Excuse after excuse Finally got it back Dec 3rd was charged the full $40 AND it was not even clean! I had to spot clean several places brush out the fur trim which resulted in getting out dirt! And was over all disgusted with their service NEVER AGAIN! read more
