When there for lunch the other day and a can of Coke , hamburger and French fries will with tax and tip set you back close to $20.i can get a better burger at Ashburn Pub, better French fries at Burger King and a large soft drink at Mickey D's a lot cheaper for the same meal. Oh wait one minute . Not the same at all. My burger was greasy and tasteless, but most of all raw! My guess is that they have some promoted dishwasher cooking the food. Some neighbors of mine recently went there for lunch and very funny had the same Raw experience. It is my hope that they don't get someone sick. I have been to all three BRG locations and have been a customer since 2008. All three offer excellent service combined with exceptional food. I often tell people that you can drop your finger anywhere on the menu and you will never be dissapointed. The rockfish is always my favorite. I highly recommend these restaurants! read more

Used to be one of my favorite places. We drive 30 minutes to get there. Food quality and preparation has decreased. Banana pudding was a joke; Hard cookie crumbs scattered over pudding and unripened bananas. Staff is still friendly. But, my food was decent at best. Probably the best brunch place I have had around so far since moving to the area. Everything was perfectly cooked. I had the country breakfast and replaced the sausage gravy for hollandaise sauce and was a fantastic idea! The ranch with the home fries really was the icing on the cake . I had a pleasant conversation catching up with a friend, and we didn't have any difficulty hearing each other at our 2-person table. We've been ordering take-out from Blue Ridge Grill all during the pandemic and have always been pleased with the food & service. Their salads are excellent--always fresh ingredients--never "bagged" greens. Our sons love the burgers, chili & chips and chicken tenders. Our favorites include grilled chicken salad, Brentwood salad, chicken piccata, prime rib sandwich. Ordering is easy with their app or website and pickup is terrific--there are designated parking spots for order pickup. read more

I can only give this Blue Ridge Grill location 3 stars. My husband and I came by on a Sunday during brunch time. Unfortunately, this Blue Ridge Grill location doesn't serve my favorite part of BRG brunch: the mini churro sticks! :( You won't find any here. The service was great; they were very accommodating of my 4 month old being there. The food was OK - just OK - neither spectacular nor terrible. However, I will truly drive over to the Brambleton location for brunch because it's just not BRG Brunch without churro sticks. I really hope management decides to add those to the menu. It will be interesting to see how this location does given the major competition now in One Loudoun and up near the Whole Foods. Note they do not take Reservations, but they do offer call-ahead seating (this is true of all BRG locations). read more

Nothing bad, but not great. I had the Pacific Rim Chicken Salad. Menu said "sliced chicken" and I was surprised to find that sliced chicken was lunch meat. 15 bucks for some lettuce and lunch meat. Kids menu had decent choices. Atmosphere was nice. Service was good enough, quick and attentive. I'd compare this place to Applebees. If that's what you are looking for, come here. Ate here twice (Ashburn) in the same week as we were visiting. The positives were consistency in the quality of the food and the service. The management quickly resolved an issue with late delivery of a single meal. Kudos to Jay (manager) handling the issue in a very professional manner and much to the satisfaction of myself. I stopped in here on a Saturday not knowing they had happy hour on the weekends, what a pleasant surprise!! HH Mon-Thu 3-7 pm and Fri-Sat-Sun 3-6 pm, which includes 1/2 off all beer and rail drinks and $3 off glasses of wine and special cocktails. They also have a pretty good selection of food specials at the bar and from what I gather it's all the time, except on Fri-Sat they're not available after 6pm. Sweet!! I got some kind of chicken salad to go the first time and it was very good (not on special). I've gone back and had a couple of the food specials and both were very tasty and very good deals. The chili & nachos for $5 and Steak and Cheese Eggrolls for $7. Would recommend everything about this place so far. Nice atmosphere and friendly bartender. read more

Took Grandma for a pre-Mothers Day brunch on Saturday. We called ahead and were seated immediately. Server had drinks on the table before we cracked the menus and recommended the prime rib sandwich and all the brunch items. Bingo! Prime rib sandwich is a huge winner if you're hungry. Crab cake and filet Benedict's looked awesome and left both Moms happy and the kids were happy with their selections too! Grandma was able to take home dinner of leftovers which she was excited about too. Especially like the classic rock music in-place of generic elevator or junky pop you usually hear. I am tired of poor experiences at this establishment, thus am finally writing a review. After several visits - often helping people in my neighborhood with takeout orders - I can say I consistently have poor experiences. The wait staff are rude when taking orders, impatient, and unkind. Perhaps their work environment is very poor and toxic and they are constantly understress? I do not know. However, as a customer, I consistently have been treated rudely by different staff members. The orders take a very long time to fulfill. This most recent order, I sat waiting outside for over 20 minutes for a curbside pickup. I finally went in the restaurant and come to find out, my order was sitting getting cold on the counter. There was no apology or any rush to get my order out. You have to pay when you make the order, so there is no impetus on the restaurant to have a pleased customer, or for a customer to know whether to tip well, etc. The food is bland. So with poor service, why bother going to this place! Seems to be a good ole' boys beer hangout. So if that is your thing, perhaps that's what it's catering to. I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends or family. I certainly have never felt welcome nor appreciated here. And the food is bland, and cold if left sitting out on the counter.... Mediocre menu, mediocre service. When a restaurant opens in a neighborhood, and whether they belong to a chain or not, they have to do their best to earn their clientele's business and leave the best impression they can. Three of us visited this restaurant today and we left unimpressed, to say the least. The menu is very average, with the same type of dish offerings you can find at many other similarly-themed restaurants. With so many great and innovative dining choices popping out in Ashburn, I don't see how their menu will be able to stand out in the long run. Another downside is the complete lack of vegan choices in the menu (once again, every other reputable restaurant will now offer at least one or two dishes). The third, and probably most important factor for my rating was the quality of service. We happened to be served by a waiter who, albeit not rude, she was not friendly at all. Once again, when you are new in the neighborhood, you do your best to be welcoming and make your customers feel at home; give them a reason to come back. She seemed either tired or annoyed (hopefully not at us) and just provided a mediocre service. I paid attention to other waiters and I can confidently said we got the short end of the stick because the rest of them certainly had a much better attitude and served their customers well. This is a decent restaurant with a great menu. I have been to this place twice and am sure I will be going there more often. I've has the calamari and NEW ORLEANS STYLE" CAJUN SHRIMP for appetizers ...they we both really good. For entree, on both occasions I had ordered pasta: NORTHSTAR CHICKEN & PASTA and KING STREET CREOLE PASTA. I liked these pastas better than ones that you get in some high end Italian restaurants. I'm not exactly sure on how to rate this so I won't. I went back today because I love the food here. I want to say thank you to our waiter who's name was Anthony I do believe. However, I was there about 2 weeks prior and had the worst experience. I didn't write then but when I saw the young lady again it brought back the worst experience. Our waiters name then was Taz. We were seated and was told our waiter would be over soon. So we waited. About 15 minutes went by and I asked her are you going to be our waiter and she said yes. I asked can we get service. Fyi we were waiting for another guest. But as Anthony did today, he toke our drink orders until the third person came. Moving forward she says what are you drinking? So we gave our drink order. She comes back, sits them on the table and leaves. The table next to us gets a hello, how are you, what can I get you. She brings them their drinks AND bread which we never recieved nor did she ask did we want any. Our guest arrive and we are talking. Guest asks us well do you think she's coming over(mind you she has walked by at least 3 times and never ask her did she want anything) I called for her and she comes and stands. I said can she get a drink. She turns to her and never asks what she would like she just waits for her to say what she wants. I asked can we get bread as well. So she comes back after 10 minutes with the bread. And then the drink. Never says anything. Again the service she was giving at the other table was superb. A manager walks by named Matt which he was amazing and he takes our order and she never came back. We gave Matt our tip which he didn't want to take but he was amazing. I had promised to never go back to that location. Thank goodness she wasn't our waitress today or I would have left. I'm sharing this late because no one should be treated like this. read more

BRG is a good addition to this part of Ashburn. For me, the real star here is the Sunday brunch. The Country Breakfast (chicken breasts topped with poached eggs and smothered in sausage gravy) is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. They also had fantastic home fries, fried very crispy, the exact way I like them and seasoned perfectly. Bloody Mary was good, which I asked for and received extra spicy. The lunch menu is okay, but the dishes I've had (salads and burgers) didn't wow me like brunch did. Service is on the high side of satisfactory, with some servers being excellent. This restaurant space sat empty for several years after the last establishment closed (Ruby Tuesday, I think?), and I'll certainly help keep it filled up on Sunday mornings for brunch! read more

This place is an amazing place for nice food at a reasonable price and AMAZING service! My family and I are regulars here and the manager has made it a priority to get to know us as a family. The food is amazing; there are a good amount of options ,but not too many ,but I guarantee you will like whatever you get. I regularly get the crispy chicken tenders platter or the chicken piccata. Ordered an ice tea; when it arrived the waiter didn't bring a straw. I was informed I could only have a straw if I request it. The manager came over to inform me that there is pending legistration about the use of straws. I don't want to hear about political views of the manager when I go out to dinner, especially one I am paying for. Bring the straw and let me decide if I use it......not the manager. read more

Where does one even begin to describe greatness?! You are greeted the second you walk in the door. Once shown to your table, rather quickly I must add, food almost appears instantaneously. It's as if they somehow knew what you wanted and began making it before you walked in. My family raises grass fed registered black angus beef, and the BRG burger is some of the best beef I've ever had. Oh and the ribs, fall right off the bone. Teeth not required! And when you come, ask for Vic-"Tori"-a's section. Best server in the DMV! If I had it my way, I'd eat here every day. And don't forget the pumpkin cheesecake. Totally worth getting diabetes for! I've travelled all over the world and the country, and have yet to find a better restaurant. Between the food and friendly service, there's no other place like it.
