Food was really good here, not the average Vietnamese food you normally get at other restaurants. Service was very nice and friendly. Their sisig fries were delicious! Although it is not listed on their menu, however, if you do decide to order it ask for light sriracha if you can't handle spicy foods. The food is ok not great. It's more for college kids. If you are in a rush, this is not the place to order your food. I was eating in and had to wait 20 plus mins to get my order. They also got my order wrong when I order a burrito and it came out a sandwich. I have to wait another 10 mins for my food. It's a very disappointing experience. read more

Great food! Good customer service. Glad to have a good spot in PIttsburg! Ok here's my complaint....the mangonada shaved ice is ridiculously expensive. The cup is so tiny and they give you the tiny spoon you get at an ice cream shop when you ask for a sample. When I ordered it I thought it would be a decent size for $6.50 and I was shocked when I seen that cup. Actually I was pissed because I got ripped off. If you want a good mangonada check out Dulce's in bay point or Dulce's by Payless shoes in Pittsburg. My friend went in last week and asked for his money back when he seen the mangonada. read more

Hmm...another little Pittsburg gem. Thanks to other yelpers, we decided to have lunch here. Space is very limited and chairs and tables a bit compact and uncomfortable so we took it "to go". Garlic, shrimp noodles were piping hot and delicious. A bit on the greasy side but shrimp was perfectly cooked. Pulled pork sandwich was yummy. Thai iced teas were just OK. They were too pricey in my opinion and not the best I have had. Overall I give it three stars for our first visit. read more

You would think when walking in here and trying the food that Blue Saigon is a Pittsburg land mark. But it blows my mind how new the restaurant is. Also in just a few months it has earn legendary status among other great restaurants in Pittsburg. Now how I found it was with a simple Google search. After living in LA I was very used to trying new places with a simple searched. So when I moved back to Pittsburg I did the same and found Blue Saigon. I decided to give it a chance and went. Immediately going in I got that bay area feel to it. Which was welcoming and nice. Unlike other restaurants in the bay area it didn't feel pretentious. Other restaurants ( especially the ones in Berkeley and Oakland) try way too hard to come across as authentic bay area taste while at the same time their food sucked and overpriced. I can tell the owners knew that they had amazing food but they didn't have to tell you all you need to do is try one of their dishes and you know that this place was legit. The price is also very fair. You get a lot of food for the price your paying which isn't that much. I recommend trying everything on the menu. Some of my favorite dishes are the warrior dog and the candy chicken wings with garlic noodles. If you're looking for something that will fill you up and not break the bank I highly recommend blue Saigon you will get great food and feel like you're having authentic Bay Area food. I personally cannot wait to see how far pBlue Saigon will go. Honestly every Bay Area town needs a Blue Saigon. read more

I have no complain about their food, it's perfectly delicious! But something they can work on is their phone costumer service. Not every time, but most of the time they sound rude and I often order prior to my visit because it takes 15-20 min for my 1 order of burrito to be ready. read more

Went on yelp to check for a good Vietnamese sandwich, instead found one of the most amazing spots out here in Pittsburg. We've been looking for a good Vietnamese sandwich for months and the funny thing is when we got there, we didn't even order the it. The menu had so much more to offer. We had the spicy chicken burrito, garlic noodles and candy wings. All were great!! Asian fusion at its finest. No complaints. The staff was awesome as well. Very nice and very accommodating. Highly recommended. Matter of fact, we are going again next week. Lol. read more

Awesome hole in the wall restaurant. Banh mi sandwich was delicious, I'd eat it every day if I could. Wings are very good, sisig with rice is excellent, chicken soup is simple and delicious. Menu posted in restaurant does not list everything they make, so if you see something here on Yelp that's not on the menu, be sure to ask for it. Blue Saigon is a hole-in-the-wall type of cafe in Pittsburg off of Railroad Avenue. The food is Delicious and very unique.

Stopped in on our way home. Outstanding food. The banh mi with pork was one of the best banh mi's I have ever had. Also tried the pork fried rice burrito. It was very good. With a side of garlic noodles it made a perfect dinner for two. Only $20. Definitely a hole in the wall but one of the best ones you can find. Delicious! We don't live near by, but found this restaurant on our way home from the Bay about a month ago. It made such an impression on us that we had to stop in again today on our way through. So happy we did! They had a jambalaya special with big beautiful prawns that was AMAZING! This little hole in the wall is the best place to have a fast and delicious meal at any time of day in Pittsburg. The service is great and the food is even better, must try the candy fried chicken and warrior dog along with the tempura fried tilapia. Honestly, everything on the menu is worth trying. I visited from Long Beach and I heard good things about this restaurant and I have to check it out. I try the garlic noodles prawns and candy wings both I give it 5 stars. The owner come out of the kitchen and check on me and asked how the food. I want him to open one in Long Beach so I have the luxury of eating this kind of food. Ordered the garlic prawns (they come laying atop a big beautiful mound of sweet & spicy garlic noodles) was AMAZING! Prawns large, plump and cooked just right. Noodles were soft but not soggy. Veggies/garnish were perfectly pickled. Service was friendly and top notch. Place was neat and clean. Highly recommend!!!! read more

The guys that makes the sisig told me this is the best place to get sisig. He said he makes about 200lbs of sisig all the time. So I drove to Pittsburg to try. Wings are alright. On the sweet side though. It's the first time for me to try the fried sisig. Upon recommendation. To my dismay it is not that good. Not even close to the sisig of onpin in south san francisco or tastebuds in san bruno. The lemony taste killed it. Taste old. Probably from making too much sisig. There is really no good sisig place in the east bay. read more
