The biggest downfall of designing remotely is not having a contractor to refer to our remote design clients because as I'm sure you can imagine, things don't usually go to plan and corners get cut. That changes for us when we met Joe. High end custom outdoor living construction is expensive, it takes a while and it's stressful but if the communication between all parties is on point, the project is a breeze. We're happy to have aligned ourselves with Aspenwood. Our other projects in the area have been train wrecks due to contractors promising things they cannot deliver, overbooking themselves and most importantly horrible communication. This company has knocked it out of the park for 3/3 of our area projects and we're looking forward to the next one.

They even used our pictures online and spoke poorly of us whilst doing so. I paid someone to have the whole thing fixed, and wish I didn't give them a dime. It was so bad Yelp even refunded us some money due to all of the pictures and terrible work product I provided in the end. You've been warned.

Teo was able to recycle a lot of material in our back yard to help bring the price around $5k cheaper than the next best offer. Now when the price is that good, some might expect poor work or follow through. That wasn't the case. The job took a bit longer than expected but Teo was great at communicating if he was going to be back in 1-2 days so he could fulfill smaller projects which I was fine with, especially for the price he saved us. After he laid the sod we did have a couple areas die and Teo came back twice to patch the areas of concern and even patched areas we were not concerned about and changed sprinkler heads to make it more efficient for us. Again, when the price is that good some people might expect to pay the contractor and never see them again but that's not the case. Having a company that follows through and comes back to make things "perfect" is all you can ask for, and him working with us to recycle a lot of material and save us $ made it all worth it. The concrete he added in the front also turned out great. Definitely call to get work done by them if you are on a budget and don't want to worry about half asked jobs. The website says they do "A Perfect Landscape is committed to helping you maintain your Denver landscaping through friendly customer service and affordable sprinkler system installation." As it doesn't say repair - I am interested in updating the system and a new patio. So much for "friendly customer service" - guess they are not so "Perfect". 6-29-18 - Update - I did receive a voicemail from Martine asking to call her so she can make this right. Nice gesture and appreciate the reach out. However, you only get 1 chance for a first impression and this was not a good impression. Especially, after she mentioned she saw this Yelp review. So was it the email I sent or the review - either way - left a bad impression of the company for me. Maybe others will have better luck.
