The ONLY place I go to for my scrubs. No joke. I am NOT an online shopper, especially for clothes. I'm a thick girl, therefore, I need to make sure my clothes fit! It's one thing to have to buy an outfit for work, so I do NOT want to spend more than I make in order to dress appropriately. Ya'll know what I mean? I'm getting off track... you can see I take my clothes seriously... it's important to be comfortable! ;) Anywhooooo, Blue Sky Hawaii is a GREAT store/warehouse-style shop for those looking for scrubs. Located adjacent to the Bank of Hawaii building near Ala Moana. 2nd floor, above the Hawaiian print clothes store. SO MUCH SELECTION! Lots of dickies, Cherokee, and other brands I'm not familiar with. So much, that they literally use every space possible. Like, you're literally fighting with every hanger just to browse through each clothing article. Lol. It's like a Ross for scrubs, who doesn't like ROSS? Unlike ROSS, it's organized by color of scrubs, and size. Per worker, "If it doesn't have Unisex or Men on it, it's for women!" 1 point to women! ;) No AC! But huge fans throughout the site, and thank the gods again, for fans in the fitting rooms, otherwise, my sweat would be all over the scrubs. Whoopsies! Lol. The store is ran by 3 people, not sure if it's family owned, but the Asian lady with long black hair is soooo nice and helpful! Actually, they're all welcoming and helpful. Thank you to the Asian lady though for helping me find the right size and style for my "hammah" legs :P $27/scrub pants +/- depending on the brand of the scrubs. That's affordable for me! Parking maybe be tight, there's about 3-4 stalls in the front of the building and maybe 10ish behind the building (but this lot is shared with other stores, just beware). No refunds! **SCAMMERS** I came in only cause I really needed to because I had to get 2 lab coats and it was sold out where I normally get it. I picked two of the EXACT SAME lab coats out one in a size L and one in a size XL. The lady in the front said the total would be $54 with tax and I questioned here because each lab coat was parked on the tag as $24.99. So she ended up saying that one of the lab coats was actually $26.99 even though the tag said $24.99. Why would the same exact lab coat be different prices? And the funny thing is the smaller size was the one with the larger price. She was very rude and kept saying what do you want me to do about it. And yes I made sure to check the numbers on the tag and everything was the EXACT same for both sizes. Whoever put it into the computer system must have messed up with the pricing. I had to get it anyways because I needed it for the next day so I ended up paying for it. She even refused to fix the pricing for me. To top it off she asked for a ID when I paid with my card. No one has ever asked me that before especially such a small bill. Don't go here, they're empty for a reason and I hope the owners learn to teach their staff that the mistake is THEIR FAULT. read more

I love this place because they have a variety of things. The only issue is PARKING. T&J Muumuu store downstairs is renovating and there's a No Parking sign posted. Parking in the back is tight. Limited to 4 stalls. I drive a full size pick up and even if parked in the back, others can't get through the lane. I tried to come here on a Monday at 1pm, all 4 stalls taken. Best bet is to park at Ala Moana and walk across to it. read more

Customer service was so BAD!!!! Walked in and NOBODY was there. Needed to try on scrubs n since there were so MANY selection, so I had to try on a lot!! (I had around 6 bottom & two top) The local lady looks at me and said "only 6 at a time" and I was fine with that. When I finally got my picks, she looks at the ones I didn't want and said "well, I gotta put all that back" with an attitude. That's your damn job!! Visited Blue Sky Hawaii after calling to confirm business hours of operation. Weren't particularly friendly on the phone; could say the same for in-person interaction. I've been in healthcare for 9+ years and I haven't had to buy scrubs for the last 5 because I've had the luxury of having them furnished where I work. I asked about which styles/brands were more popular, and what it was they recommended, but they were not able to really give much feedback. They only sell Dickie's and Cherokee brand scrubs, which are great quality, but doesn't provide much variety to an already limited island. I just laugh at the bad reviews about poor service at Blue Sky. It's a mom and pop uniform shop, what do you want? They have uniforms, lots of them, as well as other stuff. If you want work pants, shorts, shirts, scrubs, belts, that kinda stuff, they have it there and there's a large selection. Prices are a little higher than you'll find on Amazon, but it's right there and you can try it on. If you're expecting the kind of service you'll get at Nordstrom, be prepared to be disappointed. Until they start selling uniforms at Nordstrom, I'll continue to go to Blue Sky. The thin skinned maybe need not apply. read more

Found exactly what I needed, one pair of coveralls and one pair overalls. Great selection of Dickies, Wranglers, and oodles of med scrubs. The entrance looks a little scary because of graffiti but the store itself is very large and stocked to the brim with work clothes. Well organized and nice folks. read more

This place has the largest scrubs in many colors and sizes from xxs to xxxl. Should try them on before buying. There's a no refund policy but they will do exchanges within 14 days. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely would come back when I need more scrubs. They also have a good selection of mens work pants too. read more

If I could give a zero star definitely a 0! Most rude disrespectful worker ever. Came and she starts snapping like I can only have 8 people in here you need to go out. Ummm lady how do you expect us to know there's 8 people in there? Can I see through walls? Instead of being respectful and saying it in a nice way she decided to yell and be rude about it. Avoid this place if possible because if you purchase any item that is defective (and try to return the item the next business day) the owner or manager will only give you half the sales price even if you have a receipt. (The store policy that's hanging behind the register states "14 days exchange with a receipt and should be full value of your purchase.") I will still purchase some article of clothing form this store such as tee shirts and shorts but will NOT spend any large amount of revenue from this company ----due to management WILL NOT stand behind their products !! Can someone tell me where a better scrub store place is on island? I'm not sure why this place has such negative reviews, but I hope it doesn't effect their business. I'm not a nurse or a doctor, but in my profession, I feel that these prices are either affordable, reasonable, and/or even better than all the other scrub stores I've seen. I'm pretty basic with colors and design, but even the printed scrubs are nice. I don't need all the extra floral or patterns, but the prices are cheaper than they have listed online at scrubs and beyond, uniform city, or even amazon --- and you don't have to pay the extra cost for shipping like most places here on island up-charge for. They predominantly offered Dickies, Cherokee, and Tooniforms scrub brands and was impressively organized starting from tops and bottoms sectioned off from sizes XXS to XXL each arranged by the colors and prints. I can't say much for customer service much because I don't want to be bothered unless I actually need help, I can find it myself. The store isn't that big, like at Macy's where you need to hunt in the jungle of racks for an associate. If you need someone, they're right there, in the middle of the store, where you'd eventually check out or try on clothes. Plus, they folded the scrubs nicely for me instead of shoving it in a bag. read more

I come here for scrubs and bring family for work clothes (men's). The prices are high compared to other places but the scrub prints are pretty nice and super comfortable (tops only). Still have no idea where the parking is. There really isn't any customer service unless you happen to be dressed nicely or look like someone with a lot of money. Other than that they don't approach just watch you. But I don't come here for the customer service anyways. read more

This store sucks. Yeah it does have alot of choices for uniform. But it's expensive and if your like me who bought shirts for work then, had to return it because your employer gave you some 4 days later... you will get only store credit back. So I now have $48.10 in store credit that I will never use and wasted pretty much $50 on nothing. Try online where it's cheaper anyways and a better return policy. I just was in a rush and couldn't wait. I guess that's what I get for being in a rush. read more

Called to ask what size tents they sold. My first question was... do you sell 30 x 30 canopies. The guy who answered the phone sounded grouchy and said NO! So, I asked well what is the biggest size. My wife bought some new scrubs there for work. Excellent selection. I got a pair of pants. Very comfortable. Military type specs. Not bad on the price... About$30. They got a special going on right now... Spend $95 get 10% off. We spent $94.95. Had to get a fricken nail clipper to get the discount...really?@_@ Just 5 cents short. Got some good stuff.
