IMO, I've been buying subs for a few years and the sub quality and service has been getting worse. I recently ordered a sub to go on the phone and the person taking my order got it wrong. I called to let the owner know the person taking orders doesn't listen but they blamed me for the mistake. I'd recommend going to Publix since the price is much better and you can see your sub being made. read more

Purchased 1 lb of chicken salad, and a blackened chicken green salad. I asked to purchase a roll - I'm on a job site and don't want to order chicken salad on the roll because I don't know when I'll have a window of time to eat it and don't want the roll to get soggy. The woman at the register refused to sell me a roll - even tho I purchased a whole pound of chicken salad. Instead she gave me saltine crackers ! Yum a saltine cracker sandwich - so satisfying after hours of manual labor - NOT! But I included a picture of my saltine sandwich in case there are fans out there. Additionally I purchased a salad with blackened chicken. There was about 3 ounces of chicken on top of iceberg lettuce, 1/2 a hard boiled egg, and two pieces of tomato. First time I went I was in my first trimester and it was phenomenal (back in 2023). Fast forward to 2025, my amazing friend gets chicken salad from Hobe Sound Deli and the Lord must have waken my taste buds because it was amazing and I HATE chicken salad hahaha! Rude phone person. Horrible sandwich made. Very expensive. They charged extra for cheese who does that? Meat with sliced like thick slabs and the bottom half of the roll half of it was dried out and hard when I called back the rude person on the phone handed me to someone else without even telling me to hold. He told me to come back in for a refund, but thanks a lot that doesn't help me out right now never going back. Don't waste your time or money. read more

It is easy to think in south Florida that you won't top the infamous Publix sub but Hobe Sound Deli is on a totally different level. First time ordering delivery from this place, my review is based on today however I have had their chicken salad sandiwich at a work function and that was excellent. Today I tried the Italian sub, I asked to add Virginia ham, this was not on my sandwich and the original meats of salami and capicola were slim, maybe just an off day. The taste of the sandwich and toppings and bread was great, especially the bread. However the manager was very nice and apologetic and credited that amount back to me.
