    Denver omelet (filled with goodness)
    Michael W.

I'm going to give 4 stars for Blue Willow for 3 reasons. The food is 3-star food but here is what puts it to 4-stars: 1. The service is great and they keep, your coffee cup full. Now the coffee is not great but it is hot and they are CONSTANTLY filling it every few minutes. 2. They give you a LOT of food. I had a three egg omelet and I got hash browns and pancakes (they were very good). 3. The price is worth it. You get a lot of food for a cheap price. I had the Denver Omelet and it was very good. Lots of veggies, ham, and cheese; it was a solid omelet. The hash browns were crispy, really crispy, but lacked seasoning. The pancakes were the highlight, they were really good. The coffee was a let down after 6th Street Filling Station but you get a lot of food. This is a great breakfast before going to Granite Peak,

Truly bottomless coffee, they always keep it coming and it's great coffee! Best eggs Benedict I've had in Wisconsin. Strawberry pancakes amazing! Servers are always amazing!

Nothing can ever go wrong with an omelette and pancakes for breakfast. I had a great experience. Coffee constantly gets refilled and this place is jam packed with people. Means it's a popular place :)

Fantastic classic all day breakfast cafe'. The menu is huge with breakfast meals, burgers, sandwiches, dinner plates, etc. I do love a good breakfast so I rarely make it past the skillet section. The service is always outstanding and the speed that the food comes out will almost throw you off. So fast!!! One of my Wausau favorites.

The price was pretty fair- appetizers are kind of expensive

One of the best places in the Wausau area. Quick and polite service. Been going there for years.

I just wanted to mention that the owner is very unfriendly and at times downright rude. Breakfast was blah so we will come only for lunch.

Excellent food and service, we don't get to Wausau too often, but will be making this one of our regular stops when we do!

Service was also friendly and super efficient, with food made quickly. We were also happy to see there was a steady crowd coming in on a Tuesday night and the staff had no problems making sure everyone was taken care of. We started with the Taste of Manila Egg Rolls because we were so excited to see that something lived on from that restaurant which we miss. The egg rolls were quite tasty and the slaw and sauce just pulled everything together. For our main meals we had the M&O Melt with onion rings and the Red Hot Spicy Clucker with fries. I was happy the the spicy chicken sandwich actually had some heat to it and was full of flavor. The fries were also nicely fried. The M&O Melt was also tasty, and the onion rings were a favorite. Fried nicely so that they had a crunchy bite. It's always a plus when the onion doesn't come out all at once or separate from the breading. These were quite tasty and we definitely recommend the curry ketchup. It added a whole new flavor dimension to the onion rings and fries. Overall, can't wait to try some more menu items next time we're in the area. Definitely recommend.

They replaced the meal but I was still very put off by this. I have not eaten at Era ever since. I thought about giving them another chance so we celebrated our anniversary with brunch. We arrived around noon and it was still pretty busy. It seems like they are always busy and there is no real "slow" period. We had to wait for a table but was only a 5 minute wait for the two of us. The waitress was very polite and upbeat which made the experience more enjoyable. I ordered the Nashville chicken & waffle and the girlfriend ordered the country fried steak. We also order the mimosa flight; the pineapple was our favorite. The order came decently fast for how busy it was. The food was amazing. The potatoes with the country fried steak were incredible. It was a good sized steak with a good amount of gravy; the perfect ratio of meat to gravy. The chicken and waffles were very good. I liked that the hot sauce came on the side. The waffle itself had very good flavor. The breaded chicken was cut into strips and there was a lot of chicken provided. The combo of the sweet waffle with the spicy chicken really hit the spot. I would say that Era changed my mind from my first experience. We had an enjoyable and delicious meal - we will be back.
