What's still good? The service. From the waitstaff, bus-staff, and hostesses, we felt like they are wonderfully friendly and make us feel at home. What needs work: 1. The food quality. The decaf coffee was awful. Didn't drink it. Still had to pay close to $4 (no this isn't Starbucks, it's a small diner mug of bad coffee). The bun on my son's burger was dry and crumbly. The turkey on the turkey club was as cheap as it gets. 2. The price. $68 not including tip for two kids and two adults. One of the adults only got a yogurt parfait and drank water. My kids got small "kids beverages" in a foam cup out of the fountain machine. And I got the one coffee I didn't drink. This just doesn't seem right. Plus they are one of those places that charges you to use a debit card. Some places charge for credit card use but debit??? I don't agree with that. For the so/so food quality, the price didn't make sense at all. They have great people working for them. Thankfully, but that's it. We can't come back. Service and ambiance was not it. We were not asked if we wanted a table or booth but the groups of people before us were asked what they wanted and it was the same hostess. We instantly felt a change of mood from her when it came to my husband and I. Our server as well, she was talkative with her other tables but not with us. Food was alright. I've had the joy of coming here with my parents a few times. It's one of those places that my loving boomers enjoy because it has a huge menu with lots of options, even though they are rarely going to order more than one or two of the old stand-by options. There's typically a bit of a wait here on the weekends, especially around mass times, but they work on getting you in and out fast, and have a good enough quality of food that you don't feel like you're getting screwed over in the process. I decided to get the Mexican quesadilla for breakfast because I was really craving a sort of breakfast burrito experience, but new to taper those expectations for the more middle-of-America experience. That's not a pejorative, it's just you have to know where you're at when setting your expectations. I have to say, they did a great job. Service seemed a bit spread thin, but the food was delicious, and it's such a convenient location that you can't help but enjoy it. I think the part that everyone here loves the most is that the portions are ginormous. This is going to probably be your meal for the entire day, so you might as well enjoy it. Apple stuffed French toast is enough for 3 meals, lovely slightly crispy apples & lots of them. Baked Blueberry French toast is essentially bread pudding with a gorgeous & generous blueberry topping & cream cheese sauce. Again, at least 3 servings and each leftover is a treat. I was expecting so much more than what I experienced. To start off the place was only about 20 percent full, so what we experienced wasn't due to being really busy, and it was a weekday. When we arrived the hostess said it would be a few minutes to seat us. My friend looked at me with a grin and said it must be packed, because we could both see many open tables. It then took our server a long while to walk by and say I'll be right with you and we waited a long time again for her to come and ask if we wanted coffee.after she poured the coffee she said "I'll give you ladies some time to read the menu". She explained that they can't touch my food, who do they have cooking it? Robots? Our food was just okay nothing that impressed me or my friend at all. My husband and I like this place and we order from here often on a weekend when we don't feel like cooking breakfast. However, the last time I got an omelet and pancakes with the strawberry syrup and had such bad food poisoning that my husband had to take the next day off work to take care of our baby. #50-2021 wow I tracked them this year 50 reviews and we're not even 5 months into the year. my favorite breakfast place when I'm home because I usually end up by myself because the folks rise way early and eat. decide to have something a little different today and went with the blue plate special where you could choose your options so I didn't do pigs in the blanket as I've done probably for the last four times lol. came in I was seated and greeted as always have coffee and decide to go with the two eggs soft scrambled the healthier option of turkey sausage and the two pancakes cuz you get a small order instead of three you get two but there's plenty there and I opted for a buck to make them blueberry pancakes. quality was fantastic and service was fine and I definitely keep coming back here when I'm in town and I want to go out to breakfast keep up the fantastic work I've come here enough to decide to up the rating to five stars cross the board. read more

They expanded into a third storefront and we walked in at 10:00 on a Sunday and were seated immediately! The skittles are great, omelettes are great, pancakes are fluffy, delicious and perfectly cooked. Recently I started avoiding gluten and carbs but will splurge if I know it's worth it and I ate a quarter of hubby's pancakes because I couldn't stop at one bite. This time I had the Greek skillet which has gyro meat, feta cheese, potatoes, tomato and tzatziki sauce on the side. I ate a quarter and hubby had the rest the next day. So we went to blueberry hill today for the first time. Our food was exceptionally good and fresh. There's an option to order organic Amish eggs for $1.50 extra which we did. My son had seafood omelette with hollandaise sauce hashbrowns and pancakes. I had a really nice offer that they have with two eggs two pieces of meat and crapes with orange marmalade... Delicious! The reason that there is not five stars is because although our server was very pleasant, we kind of had a hard time finding her a couple of times when we needed something. Small little outing with my grandmother, cousin, and myself on a late Tuesday morning, this is one of grandma's favorite breakfast spots, and we all know how often the older folks enjoy going to the same place. There was a surprising number of people in it but they opened up the other room to seat us in a booth that we requested, which was nice. My cousin had a country skillet and my grandmother had the chunky monkey waffles, they each were very pleased with their food. I met a friend that I had not seen in 40 years at Blueberry Hill on a Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. We did sit there for 2.5 hours chatting, ate breakfast, etc. There were no lines to get into the restaurant during any time that we were there, and honestly, there were empty tables. About two hours in the hostess asked us to leave because we had been there too long and said the waitress wasn't able to make any money that day because she couldn't turn our table. We had planned on leaving a large tip with the understanding the waitress could not turn the table even before the hostess said something to us (keep in mind the hostess had no idea how much we were planning on giving our server).
