I really like Blueberry's Cafe for breakfast. I always really enjoy it. Today is Christmas. We went for lunch. One person had pecan pancakes. He said it was incredible. I had the steamed hot corned beef and pastrami on rye. It was microwaved and like rubber. I ordered it untoasted but but they burned it. When they made the sandwich over it was worse. The fries were good. I never got the mustard. The third was half of a tuna with NO TOMATO. Guess what? They put two slices of TOMATO on that half sandwich. No thank you. Last was a buffalo chicken salad with crumbled blue cheese. They had no blue cheese and the hot sauce was in a plastic container. They gave her feta cheese. Not a good experience. I came in on Monday morning about 1130 and I came in as a single person. There were people waiting which I expected but as everyone else seated, I was the last one standing maybe because I was only one person. After being seated at the table, it took another 10 minutes for waitress to wait on me and another 10 minutes for them to bring me my ice tea. Food came finally and 10 minutes later done and still waiting for bill. Had a ham and cheese omelette which was very good and fresh fruit cup and two sausage links which were so filled with oil the inside of the sausage was like a mush. Didn't eat those. A cute family cafe in Naples, conveniently located on 41. Their breakfast menu has about anything you could want! The service was fast and efficient. We arrived around 9 on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. It definitely started to fill up with the "after church crowd" so go early on a Sunday. I really liked this place! The decor is cute and homey. There are a lot of tables, but they also have a counter you can eat at. Nice size menu with a variety of choices. We came for breakfast, but there is a good size lunch menu as well. My mom enjoyed her omelette filled with bacon, sausage and ham. She said it was nice and fluffy. I loved my blueberry pancakes, so moist and tasty. For some reason, I often encounter dry ones at other restaurants. I got the short stack of 2 pancakes and it was just the right size. Took awhile to be served even though the restaurant was at about 50% capacity. I got the blueberry pancakes. Pancakes were served hot and fluffy, but overall did not have a lot of flavor. The maple syrup served with the pancakes also was surprisingly flavorless and served in a very small plastic container (had to ask for more as the amount given was way too small). Coffee was okay, tasted watered down but was hot (I drank regular coffee, black). An okay breakfast that was decently priced with a big portion. Wow wow wow! I stayed at a hotel with in walking distance and decided to try it. The service was top notch. I saw a lot of people which is a good sign. I got a 3 meat skillet with scrambled eggs. I chose Blueberry's based upon the reviews & how close it is to the Hampton Inn on Tamiami Trail. I was eating alone, the place was slammed at 10:30 on a Sunday morning so it took awhile to find me a seat. Waited probably 20 minutes for a space at the counter. Food was great. Had pancakes, scrambled eggs & sausage patty. Enough food to be stuffed! 3 stars not 5 because of service. Asked for extra butter & extra syrup when I ordered my food. Neither was provided & my waitress never returned to see if everything was good ok. Isn't that pretty much a basic expectation? The next person who's asked if I needed anything was the owner AFTER I finished my meal. He told my waitress I needed coffee. Coffee was great by the way. If you're looking for some great food this spot is it. We came to this area to get to the ocean and being from California we also wanted some great food. The orange juice tasted like it was fresh squeezed. The pecan waffles and banana pancakes were flavorful and fluffy. The blueberry French toast was delicious. Eggs are always eggs nothing special about them but the red potatoes were seasoned just right. Our meals were filling so much so that we will be eating the rest for breakfast tomorrow. My friend and I had been in Naples since my friend was looking for a home in Bonita Springs. We had been staying at the Hyatt and many days ended up having breakfast at the Bluberry Cafe. It is a large square space and they are practicing social distancing. We had been there multiple times during our stay and had many of the dishes features on the menu. I had the French toast, the eggcellent eggs, the eggs Benedict and other options on their menu. The menu is extensive and at this point, due to the pandemic, they were only open until 3P. 1st time at Blueberry's, seated right away but waited 10 min before being greeted even though the restaurant was about half full. Maybe the waitress thought I was waiting for someone as I was dining alone, but I still should have been approached & asked. I ordered a mushroom omelet with spinach & cheddar cheese, grits with cheese & wheat toast. Everything was luke warm at best. The abundant amount of cheese was melted in the omelet, but not on the grits, which were pasty, and the toast was not buttered. Also, the spinach in the omelet was so sparse that it looked like parsley flakes. Prices were very fair. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, so I will try again as I've heard the blueberry waffles are good. read more

Came here for Sunday brunch to a very long wait. No big deal if the food turns out to be worth the wait. Between arriving and getting our food to our table took about an hour and 20 minutes.
