The area where I grew up had a huge "diner culture". There were several big diners around that served cheap, delicious meals. When I saw Blueberry's Cafe with a giant line wrapped around the outside of the restaurant, I thought they would be an instant hit with me. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The service was good; partner got no less than 4 coffee refills without asking (so refreshing since normally you have to flag someone down) and it was relatively cheap (especially compared to other spots in the area), but the food was so-so. I got the Red Neck Benedict which I would describe as OK at best and a little blah flavor-wise. The poach on the eggs was perfect but something about the dish as a while didn't quite gibe. I got a side of tomatoes (the man taking our order definitely misunderstood me - wanted potatoes as the side, but didn't want to cause a scene and oh well, at least we got some veggies in!). I didn't hate it but I also definitely didn't love it. My partner fared worse. The skillet that came out was really underwhelming (honestly though if you want a skillet you should probably just GO to Skillet's). We also ordered a side of blueberry pancakes to share and they were... almost raw in the middle? Not very good. Considering what we spent on the meal, I can't really say too much because it was honestly the cheapest meal I've had in a while in this town, but don't go into this place with high expectations. They seem to have a following so I don't think they'll be hurting for customers anytime soon, but I hope they can make some tweaks to make their food a little better overall. read more

And families here because prices are good and portions are large. So I chose the blue berry, strawberry crepes, house made with fresh fruit compote and whipped cream because jeans have spandex in them. And this is sooo good and I won't eat dinner...My husband went traditional, omelette and grits... Listening to some classic rock, and people watching , checking out entrees as they exit the kitchen. We sat outside on the deck, and it was very comfortable. We worried about the service based on how busy the restaurant. Also sitting outside you can sometimes be forgotten. The good news is that the service was excellent. My wife had an omelet which she said was very good. She said they were generous with the ham it was very flavorful. Omelette arrives with hash browns. Server said, "oh yes, you had a side of tomatoes." He ordered it up again. They arrived after I had finished my omelette. I'm a big fan of the breakfast sandwich(egg,sausage patty, cheese, on an English muffin). They have a great side of fruit. The potatoes were good, but I prefer them crispy. The Redneck Benedict was delish-the potato pancakes are perfect. A half order would be the prefect amount for me, it's huge! My friend was all about the 3 meat omelet with the addition of some veggies and he was a fan of the fried potatoes. This little cafe is an unassuming gem in Naples! I stopped by with my aunt for an early morning breakfast and the blueberry pancakes were to die for. They were light, fluffy, and very fragrant. I typically can't eat more than a pancake by myself, but these were so good that I could have had the whole stack to myself. Even coming in on a regular basis in the off season when restaurant is not very busy you find yourself having to get up to find someone to see if your meal is ok or to fill your coffee only to see the staff in a both talking and taking a break. The gave you a blueberry sauce to put on the pancakes as well as syrup. The bacon and sausage were very tasty and the eggs were a large portion.
