Mexican Roll w Jalapeños
Justo G.

Mexican roll is always amazing!! I add the jalapeños for the extra spice! The customer service here is amazing, they are extremely kind, I'm not sure what other reviewers are saying about their customer service. Just give it a try!! I love the vibes and aesthetics. Also their Chicken Satay is super good! Grab a beer while you at it or some hot sake

A great place to grab lunch on a weekday. Their lunch combo is a great deal! You get an appetizer, entree, salad, and soup all for $16. The pad see ew with chicken was super delicious and made to my spice level just as I asked! The fried spring rolls are super tasty and come out piping hot! Customer service was great and plenty of seats !

Food is fresh for what I had ordered (Sashimi) plate . Service is good nice people. A small place to eat . Will come back and eat here again

Have ordered takeout from here a couple times as the fusion with Thai food can be fun sometimes. - Tempura: we ordered this once and haven't ordered it since. When I came home with my order, I realized our tempura was missing. I immediately called the restaurant to mention this and they said they would have it ready if I wanted to go back to pick it up. I would have appreciated a discount or something for this lack of attention to detail, but let it slide. When I got there, they handed me the box right away and said they reheated it for me so it should be warm. One thing to know about tempura is that it cannot be reheated - it ruins the entire dish as the tempura batter is supposed to be light and crispy. When you reheat it, it becomes soggy. When I mentioned this, they wouldn't budge on creating a new order. - 49er roll: average 49er roll - Crazy salmon roll: I enjoyed the spice and ikura on top of the roll I would recommend trying a variety of their dishes. For the most part, they are good. The three stars is simply for the tempura incident and I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.

My first meal in Alameda. This restaurant is a fusion of Thai food and sushi. I ordered three sushi rolls and two Thai dishes. The sushi is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. The quality of the food is good and the portion size is worth the price. The Thai food I ordered was crab fried rice and Kra paw Beef (come with rice). The food was delicious. The crab fried rice is the MUST !!! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and warm.

We love Blue fin sushi Thai as our neighborhood restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is very very good. It's nice to have a broad menu where everyone can find something delicious from Thai food, Japanese food, and sushi. It's great also cause it's right next to the Encinal Market.

I had a Thai iced tea, chicken wings and spider role not necessarily in that order. The beverage seems to taste the same wherever I go. The chicken wings were good served up with a sweet sauce. The spider role was delicious. Liked the crunchy aspect of some of it. The service was good in this small restaurant. Not a bad place to grab a bite. I was part of a group of eight people. They do have an automatic service charge for certain size parties. Since we had the server issue a couple separate checks it didn't occur to me that the gratuity was already built in to the bill. Glad my friend spoke up and had the bill amended.

The best sushi I have ever had. Attentive service. I love sitting outdoors at restaurants. Although the patio area is near the street you never feel the energy of cars because the patio is surrounded by planters. There are several tables, most with umbrellas, it's quaint.

Stopped by here for lunch and dined outside. The sweetest waitstaff helped us. We were served ice cold water right away. The bento box lunch special caught our eye. You choose one appetizer and one entree. it comes with a salad with a delicious ginger dressing, rice, and a juicy slice of orange.

All aboard the sushi love boat! We are about to embark on a seafood paradise adventure. crazy salmon roll -- I liked this roll more cause of the salmon and ikura (which I think resembles popping boba) heh nikko crunch roll -- this roll was just ok. gyoza came in a cute little boat dish. Crispy and flavorful. takoyaki -- my fave! Well made and quite tasty! mix tempura -- my friends ate this and enjoyed it poppy love boat -- presentation is sooo nice!! Great variety and freshness of the sushi/sashimi. omakase nigiri -- again, another great presentation. Make sure to dip in soy sauce. seafood pad thai -- it was the sweeter, citrus side. Wished it was a tad bit spicer. Good amount of toppings from the shrimp. Yummy. green curry with chicken -- the green curry was soo good I kept on scooping for more and finished the whole bowl! There was a hint spice but still tolerable to eat. beef teriyaki -- liked how the sauce was served ok the side so you could put per your liking. Service is welcoming and accommodating. I'd come back if I was in the area.

Chicken Satay and Mexican Roll

This place gets 5 stars for their food, service and ambience. My boyfriend and I came upon this place because we were intrigued that they served Thai food and Sushi (genius). We love ordering their Chicken Satay and their Mexican Roll. The servers are so kind and always remember us when we go:)

Love the service and the location. Don't love the food but it hits the spot and portions are copious. The Beto box deal at $25 is value for money for sure and is all day long. I wish the food was little more refined and flavor some.

Me and my friends have to decided to give this place a try since we were really craving sushi. Our experience here was amazing!! The staff were super welcoming and nice. They sat us down, gave us plenty of time to order and served us nice cold water :) We came around at a slow time so our rolls were made pretty fast. Our number one favorite so far is the Golden State Roll. When leaving we were thanked by the entire staff!! Overall the food was amazing and we will be coming back soon.

Although the donburi originally caught his eye, we ended up ordering sushi instead. As someone who finally got over the texture issue of sushi, I've been eating more of it and loving it. Hayashi had such fresh fish and a wonderful plating. Is it pricey? Yes, but most sushi places are nowadays. We did spend over $100 on food but we were stuffed and enjoyed every bite. My friend made sure I tried things I'd never had before! They also gave us free scoops of ice cream at the end. The service was terrific. A lady came and took our order on an electronic pad and our food came out fairly quickly. The interior is about the same as the precious donburi restaurant that owned it but comfortable regardless. The bathroom was also clean. As always, parking directly around this area is tight unless you go later at night or you park at the parking garage by the Alameda Theatre or go on a week day after 7 pm.

Based on the reviews I decided to stop by and order a roll to satisfy my craving. Upon entry, I noticed the restaurant was fairly empty (great) and it appeared that only one employee was working at the time. The employee was pleasant he answered my questions and was quick with completing my order. My roll appeared to be made with care and I couldn't wait to dive in. To say the least my roll was A-Mazing. The ingredients tasted fresh. The roll didn't burst open as I picked it up with my chopsticks, etc. My concern is with the prices. This Japanese restaurant food items are priced really high. I paid $25 dollars for a pretty basic tempura roll. I wanted to try some other items but didn't want to leave out paying $50 for a to go meal.

We like…read moreto try to find something near residential and walk, but even then it can get frustrating to find a parking spot. Once you walk into the restaurant, there's indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor seating is covered by a patio, and on colder days, I'm assuming they will put a heater out there? I'm not too sure, since I don't actually eat outside often. Indoor is well lit up, and has a decent amount of seating. The biggest table I have seen seats around 6 people, but can be more if you have small children I suppose. We mostly order the rolls here, and to be fair, it's a decent pricing. However, it is a hit or miss. 1. Lion King - Decent. Taste all the same everywhere you go if you ask me. 2. Deep Fried Spicy Tuna - Must have, definitely my favorite. 3. Golden Gate - More on the saucy side with imitation crab meat, it's basic. 4. Dragon Roll - Again, same anywhere you go. 5. Double Salmon Roll - Salmon on the inside, salmon on the outside. Cheaper alternative than to just getting nigiri or salmon sashimi. The customer service here is not the best in my opinion. The first time we took a friend there for his birthday, and it was terrible. The host, waiter/server, and manager disregarded us. However, a table next to us got the friendliest treatment. The type of treatment you give when you expect them to come back so you can address them by their name. The second time we've been here, the customer service was basic. No expectations, just take your order, serve, and a simple question of how is everything. Honestly, customer service could have been much more reasonable at even the most basic level. Overall, the food is ok. I wouldn't say it's like the best, but if you're here for lunch or a quick bite, it's fine.

It's a cute little spot and aesthetically pleasing. I believe it's a kitchen hall where multiple restaurants are combined into one? You're able to order curry, dim sum, Japanese sandwiches, bento boxes, etc in one spot. Theres indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated where the cushion chairs were. Then we scanned a QR code on the table and started a group order/tab. I was looking for some comfort food during these gloomy days so I ordered the Japanese curry with katsu which came with miso soup. Our food was served through a robot was pretty cool! The curry was good! My total for two curries with katsu, including tax and tip came out to be about $50. I'm rating this place a 3.5 due to our table not being wiped down prior to being seated, there were crumbs on it and our server just picked some of it up but did not wipe down the table. Other cushion seat tables were also not wiped down and the cushion seats had crumbs and stains on them. A family came in and their high top table was wiped down . We also didn't have any napkins in our holder so I did have to get up and grab it from another table. But I would come back and try this place again, maybe during the weekend.

Salmon sashimi was nice thick cuts and melted like butter . For the roll the waiter recommended the island roll and it was pretty good !
