Having the veterinarian come to our home made such a difference. Bella was able to be in her favorite place, surrounded by familiar smells and the people who loved her most. The vet was gentle, patient, and respectful throughout the entire process, taking the time to explain everything and making sure Bella was comfortable and peaceful. What could have been a very clinical or traumatic experience instead felt calm, dignified, and full of care. Bella passed peacefully, and I truly believe that being at home made it much easier for both her and for us. Losing a pet who has been part of your life for so many years is incredibly painful, but Luna Vet helped give Bella the peaceful goodbye she deserved. I am deeply grateful for their kindness during such a difficult time. If anyone is facing the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to their pet, I cannot recommend Luna Vet enough.

Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better.

Making the decision to say goodbye to my French bulldog, Rambo, was one of the hardest things I've…read moreever had to do. Rambo was my baby, and I was absolutely dreading this moment. With a decision like this comes so much doubt and guilt. You question whether you're doing the right thing, whether they might somehow pull through, and the emotional weight can feel overwhelming. On September 21st, 2023 Dr. Ryan Pearce lifted that weight from my heart. From the moment he arrived, he approached everything with compassion, calm, and professionalism. He gently explained just how sick Rambo truly was and gave me reassurance that choosing euthanasia was an act of love, not failure. He answered every question we had, never rushed us, and gave our family the time and space we needed both before and after Rambo passed. His wife, Jessica, was just as thoughtful and kind. She later hand-delivered Rambo's ashes in a beautiful wooden urn. They also provided two paw print molds, one for me and one for my mom along with several stamped paw prints. One was even framed and sits on my dresser to this day. Although I may have read about these keepsakes on their website while searching through my grief, receiving them felt like the most meaningful and comforting surprise. Being able to share those pieces with my mom meant so much. Two years before losing Rambo, I had used another in-home service that was good but Dr. Pearce and Jessica were truly exceptional. Their compassion, attention to detail, and genuine care made an unbearable day more peaceful. On February 11th, 2026, we chose them again because of the experience we had. It was time to say goodbye to Cinco, my sister's dog, who my mom had taken in and cared for. Cinco was 16 years old and had outlived all of our other dogs. Losing her felt especially heavy for my mom. There was something about her being the last one, the one who had been there through everything, that made the grief deeper and it still is. In a time when it feels like you cannot possibly make it through the pain, Dr. Pearce's kindness and steady presence helped relieve some of that weight. That kind of compassion stays with you. We are forever grateful that both Rambo and Cinco were able to pass with dignity, love, and gentleness. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Selena, Jeanne and Tyree

She has labored breathing, hasn't wanted to eat, and her meds just aren't working. Her health has been some good days, some bad, but today was unfortunately one of those bad ones. My biggest concern is she isn't suffering. I left a message and Dr. Pearce called me back almost immediately 12:23. He let me know that he doesn't service this area since it's about an hour from his home (52.6 miles), I appreciate how quickly he returned my call. Living out here can be challenging because many services just aren't available. My regular vet is only open Monday-Thursday until 4 p.m. which is difficult to work around as a teacher. Even though Dr. Pearce couldn't help us directly, I'm very grateful for his prompt response and professionalism during a stressful and emotional time.

She didn't introduce herself, didn't ask my name, and immediately began lecturing me about one of my other dogs, Bear, claiming he "didn't look well." Bear is under the care of a top-rated general vet and the leading neurological specialist in Arizona. She insisted our veterinarians were wrong and "didn't know what they were doing," which was completely inappropriate and irrelevant to why she was here. I repeatedly asked her to focus on Zeus, who was battling cancer and ready to cross the rainbow. Instead of compassion, she made an already devastating day even harder. When it came time for the euthanasia, she struggled to find a vein and roughly manipulated his leg for nearly ten minutes while he lay there and I was sobbing. She then attempted a heart stick, but her hands were shaky and her approach was harsh, as if he were an object rather than our beloved family member. Her lack of professionalism, skill, and empathy turned one of the most painful days of our lives into something traumatic. She showed no sympathy, no gentleness, and made us feel guilty at a moment when we needed support. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not trust her with any animal.

Apparently she got into a cat fight and the puncture wounds on her belly abscessed rather quickly. I called several mobile vets in the hopes they could come to me as my cat was incredibly stressed and fearful and I didn't want to exacerbate it by taking her to our regular vet who only had long waits and no appointments available. When I called the office manager Tammy said they didn't have any appointments available, and that the vet tech had already gone home for the day, but after we spoke about what was going on she told me "hold on" and when she came back to the phone she said they were going to come to me right away. I could tell how much she cared about my cat just from our conversation. Dr. Garthe was wonderful with my poor grumpy girl, who isn't much of a people cat. She had her calmed (as calm as an in pain cat can be) and drained and cleaned the wound, and then taught me how to care for it. Today shes eating, drinking and even playing again! Its very apparent that she truly cares about our fur babies, and I would call her again in a heartbeat if I needed her. I would give an arm and a leg for my cat, but at the end of the day the superb care she provided was incredibly affordable. I would recommend Dr. Garthe to anyone looking for someone that cares about their animals like they're their own. Thank you Dr. Garthe, and Tammy, you were an incredible assistant! I'm eternally grateful.

Dr. Morrison's approach may not be for everyone and that is ok. But what I will say is she absolutely makes this time about you and your pet. She's completely honest with her approach, what to expect during the night and what you may help with during the process. Dr. Morrison really eases you into the moments, tells you to tell her your pace and is considerate of your heartbreak.
