Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better.

It's so nice to be able to talk to a person with any questions or concerns when it comes to decisions like these. Doctor Gina Sernelli was absolutely wonderful and during our scheduled appointment she arrived on time and answered all of our questions and gave explained everything she was going to do, she was very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Gina made our Kobe feel comfortable and the relief knowing he wasn't experiencing anymore pain was a blessing. I highly recommend Rest Pets if you're needing their services. Acutally the reason, I became a professional pet care provider 28 years ago was from what happened in my own home with a horrible vet to my soul cat. I digress. Dr. Preace taped a small tube to her arm and asked if I was ready for her to have the sedative. Tiera would go to sleep but would still be alive. I took my time n Told him when I was ready. Dr. Ryan Pearce is a licensed DVM who safely performs in-home euthanasia and is proficient in palliative care, pain management, and humane end-of-life protocols. When I reached out, Dr. Pearce responded immediately to my request for a consultation and was able to schedule a same-day appointment within just a few hours to relieve the pain of my suffering cat, Princess. Throughout the process, Dr. Pearce was professional, considerate, and incredibly patient, even helping me locate my cat while she was hiding among moving boxes. The arrangements were deeply respectful of my grief; Dr. Pearce prepared a quiet, comfortable space for Princess and provided a pink pillow and blanket for her transport afterward. I highly recommend this outstanding veterinarian for this challenging but necessary service.

She didn't introduce herself, didn't ask my name, and immediately began lecturing me about one of my other dogs, Bear, claiming he "didn't look well." Bear is under the care of a top-rated general vet and the leading neurological specialist in Arizona. She insisted our veterinarians were wrong and "didn't know what they were doing," which was completely inappropriate and irrelevant to why she was here. I repeatedly asked her to focus on Zeus, who was battling cancer and ready to cross the rainbow. Instead of compassion, she made an already devastating day even harder. When it came time for the euthanasia, she struggled to find a vein and roughly manipulated his leg for nearly ten minutes while he lay there and I was sobbing. She then attempted a heart stick, but her hands were shaky and her approach was harsh, as if he were an object rather than our beloved family member. Her lack of professionalism, skill, and empathy turned one of the most painful days of our lives into something traumatic. She showed no sympathy, no gentleness, and made us feel guilty at a moment when we needed support. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not trust her with any animal.

Apparently she got into a cat fight and the puncture wounds on her belly abscessed rather quickly. I called several mobile vets in the hopes they could come to me as my cat was incredibly stressed and fearful and I didn't want to exacerbate it by taking her to our regular vet who only had long waits and no appointments available. When I called the office manager Tammy said they didn't have any appointments available, and that the vet tech had already gone home for the day, but after we spoke about what was going on she told me "hold on" and when she came back to the phone she said they were going to come to me right away. I could tell how much she cared about my cat just from our conversation. Dr. Garthe was wonderful with my poor grumpy girl, who isn't much of a people cat. She had her calmed (as calm as an in pain cat can be) and drained and cleaned the wound, and then taught me how to care for it. Today shes eating, drinking and even playing again! Its very apparent that she truly cares about our fur babies, and I would call her again in a heartbeat if I needed her. I would give an arm and a leg for my cat, but at the end of the day the superb care she provided was incredibly affordable. I would recommend Dr. Garthe to anyone looking for someone that cares about their animals like they're their own. Thank you Dr. Garthe, and Tammy, you were an incredible assistant! I'm eternally grateful.

We called Dr. Morrison as heartbroken and desperate pet parents, unsure of what we were calling for and just guidance from a kind vet who may understand our grief. Dr. Morrison not only answered the call but explained in detail her services and promised us a peaceful night. It was EVERYTHING and more. Dr. Morrison's approach may not be for everyone and that is ok. But what I will say is she absolutely makes this time about you and your pet. She's completely honest with her approach, what to expect during the night and what you may help with during the process. Dr. Morrison really eases you into the moments, tells you to tell her your pace and is considerate of your heartbreak. After it was done, she gave us all the time in the world to grieve and say our goodbyes. We took an hour and not one word from Dr. Morrison because she knew we needed that time. She stepped away during that time and just told us to come get her when we're ready She also tells us to be completely honest with her during this process; the pace, the things we may want like paw print or fur, at the end she wraps your pet in a warm blanket with a pillow a stuffy and a pink boa. We kindly said the boa didn't really reflect our girl and she immediately understood and took it off. It didn't take away from our grief or the moment because you know everything she does is to try and help. I cannot recommend her services more and I'm without a doubt convinced that there is a reserved seat in heaven for Dr. Morrison because of what she does for families everyday and the peace she brought us will always be appreciated.
