Short version = Tiffany at Pets at Peace responded quickly (I reached out late Monday evening, and she came to our house early in the afternoon the next day). She was compassionate (she went above and beyond to make sure my pet was comfortable and felt no pain). She took her time (which allowed me to take my time saying goodbye). Tiffany made an impossible situation the best it could be for all involved, and I will be eternally grateful to her for that. Long version = My wonderful companion, Brigitte, the miniature poodle, was diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2025. She did well for most of the next few months, but after the new year she started declining. On the evening of January 5th, 2026, I made the decision that every pet owner dreads. I reached out to Tiffany at Pets at Peace that night, and she came to our house at 12:30 pm the next day. This next part is important so please read as it may help you and your pet. I told Tiffany my biggest worry was the initial injection used to sedate Brigitte before the euthanasia injection was given. For my past two dogs it was clear that this shot stung a little, which was distressing for them (at least briefly) and for me (ever since). So, before giving Brigitte that sedative/anesthesia injection, Tiffany gave Brigitte an oral sedative that made her fall asleep first (we were lucky; Brigitte was still eating until the very end and we were able to mix the oral sedative in with some bread and cheese, which she always loved). After several minutes, when I was comfortable Brigitte was deeply asleep, Tiffany injected the main sedative/anesthesia. I watched Brigitte very closely as this injection was administered and I was very relieved to see that she did not react at all. This was the greatest gift Tiffany gave both of us. After several more minutes passed, Tiffany administers the final injection. Again, I watched Brigitte very closely, and I am confident she died as quickly, painlessly, and peacefully as possible. Last Wednesday 3/6/2024 we decided to set our sweet Jerry free. He was 17 1/2 & has been suffering from Canine Cognitive Dementia for several months. Dr. Lossman (formerly Germano) at Pima North Animal Hospital recommended Dr. Tiffany to us for at home euthanasia. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tiffany. She arrived and was very patient, kind, and soft spoken. I felt completely at ease with expressing my emotions and speaking to her. She spent some time with us and our other pup Mickey who gave her the tail wag approval before we said goodbye to Jerry. We are heartbroken, but knowing we have someone like Dr. Tiffany makes us feel at peace with our decision. Our almost 19 y/o fur baby was on hospice for about a month and was doing incredibly well. Unfortunately, one day she rapidly declined and her hospice provider was not available to come out that same day. We searched for other providers and after a few failed calls we found Dr. Tiffany, who also did not have availability the same day. We had to help our sweet Molly over the rainbow bridge today. Tiffany was just amazing!!! She was so compassionate, didn't rush us at all, answered questions we had about having our other dogs present. There are no words to say how much Dr Tiffany did for me and my furr baby . I had had a plan with our family vet for when the time came we would take my little man to his favorite spot / tree and we'd let him go where he loved watching the sun set after playing with his friends. Mr K had a type of disease that was slowly making him paralyzed. I was told he had around 6 months left and we were giving him his bucket list of fun things and memories over those six months . Our beautiful Scout was diagnosed with Lymphoma at 7 years old, two months shy of her eighth birthday. Unfortunately, by the time it was discovered, it had spread to every lymph node throughout her body, especially in her lungs. We were devastated but took comfort knowing Dr. Tiffany would allow Scout the peaceful, dignified death she deserved. We called Dr Tiffany two years ago for our French Bulldog, Delilah. Scout was diagnosed 6/9 and gave us a beautiful month of life but the days approaching July, we knew the cancer had officially exhausted our angel. Due to her large size and it being a Sunday, we decided to go with the package that included transport and individual (partitioned) cremation. I can't put into words Dr. Tiffany's energy. She is quite literally an angel on earth; she is so compassionate, gentle and kind. The moment she walked into our home, Scout perked up and wagged her tail. Scout isn't too keen on new people but it was as if she was seeing an old friend. Dr. Tiffany played ball with Scout (which was her most favorite thing to do) while talking us through the process and answering our questions. When the time came, Dr. Tiffany was very gentle, only proceeding when we were ready. Scout slipped away peacefully around 1130AM. Afterwards, Dr. Tiffany allowed us time to cuddle her and even shaved a bit of her hair for us to keep. When we were ready, Dr. Tiffany brought in the gurney. She had a soft, fleece paw print blanket which she laid on Scout once she had gotten her on the gurney. We were so nervous about the transportation portion seeing as Scout hadn't gone with anyone her whole 7 years of life but I knew we could trust Dr. Tiffany. Dr Tiffany explained that Entrusted Pets (the crematory service) had a strict tagging/identification process upon arrival. Once Scout was placed in Dr. Tiffany's van, Dr. Tiffany did not close the door until we were ready. Afterwards, Dr. Tiffany hugged my mom whom was the most devastated and held her for a few minutes ensuring her Scout would be taken care of. The whole process, though heartbreaking was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful ending to Scout's life. Dr. Tiffany said it would take anywhere from 5-10 days for us to receive Scout back. Luckily, we received a call 4 days after from Entrusted Pets saying she was ready. We have 4 other pets who have also passed. We had them cremated at PALS so they were placed in cedar boxes. Dr. Tiffany, aware of this, requested that Entrusted Pets please place Scout in a cedar box to match our other 4 babies. This is yet another affirmation of Dr. Tiffany's genuine and compassionate character. The pickup/interaction at Entrusted Pets was painless and pleasant. We were greeted immediately upon entering and shown kindness and compassion. We will definitely be using Entrusted Pets in the future. Dr. Tiffany, thank you again for being so compassionate and kind. You are a ray of light in our sadness. Thank you for giving our Scout a peaceful and painless death.
