A pretty good use of space here and lovely Houston based space theming. There's not a ton of indoor space, but there's plenty of tables set up outside if you want to hang out here. However this coffee shops reads as more of a pick up and go place, which is totally fine. They only had 2 signature drinks the morning we popped in, and honestly neither really stood out as unique in any way unfortunately. There's the standard coffee options of course and the normal assortment of sweeteners too, so the rest of the order is up to you. There's pastries and breads available, not sure if they're made in house, but it's a smoker shop so maybe not. read more

UPDATE: They replied the day after I sent a second follow up stating I would be disputing the charge. 6/28 While the team may be trained to read back orders, that did not happen in my case. The staff member who helped us did not repeat the order before charging it. He actually walked away from the counter and came back without confirming anything. They can feel free to review the security footage from that day, as I'm confident it will confirm this interaction. As I stated earlier, I ordered two Vanilla Rose Matchas and was given two Vanilla Rose Coffees. I explained immediately that it was incorrect, but was told I'd have to pay again to get the drinks I originally ordered. I never received any mention of a manager being present or of a discount being offered for the second set of drinks. I paid full price a second time just to get what I had initially ordered, and the first two drinks (ones I couldn't consume) were wasted. I also sent an email the same day and didn't receive any kind of response until I followed up again. That kind of delay felt dismissive and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when my friend (who was with me that day) visited again, the same staff member assumed she was me, addressed her by my name, and winked. This clearly referenced my complaint. This was uncomfortable for her and confirms that my concerns were seen and discussed informally and internally, rather than being addressed appropriately. That behavior is not only unprofessional but also makes it clear that the situation was not taken seriously. I've supported many small businesses and believe in giving grace, but this entire experience has left me feeling dismissed and disappointed. I tried an ice d hot flat white . It was fine. The beans were a bit acidic and light. They definitely steamed the hot flat white perfectly. But the flavors just wasnt for me. I can definitely see why it's popular if those type of beans are your flavor profile. The service was a bit slow. I've been here many times and I love this place! Giant Leap Coffee is located in Uptown Park in Post Oak so it is perfect to get a coffee and go walk around check out the shops or get some food. What I ordered : Large Matcha with Sizzurp syrup (from Summer menu) This place offers different seasonal drinks! So they always have something special items for the current season. Right now they have a summer seasonal menu featuring 4 drinks Inside is quite small not big enough to sit and work or study. This is more of a pick up and go or sit outside as they have chairs outside mini patio. I love the customer service, staff is always friendly, helpful with recommendations, and staff asks if you want a 16oz or 20oz which I appreciate as some coffee spots will forget to ask you about the size of drink you'd like. read more

This place needs a better workflow. The service moves at a snails pace. I went in for a drink and there were 4 people working behind the bar yet the line was literally out of the door. 4 people working behind the bar but the kid at the register has to turn around and make each drink himself. 4 people working behind the bar and not one of them steps in to take orders while the other kid is making a drink. They just stood back there chatting and lauging and filling pitchers with water while the queue grew. The music is blaring so loud you cant think. I get that its part of your brand but standing in line at 7:30am for 20 minutes to order an $8 latte while rock music blasts at you the entire time is not ideal. On top of all this I ordered a vanilla latte which and they forgot to include the flavor syrup. This place is overpriced and the service is too slow. No need to return. read more

I spent an evening studying together at Whole Foods and I got a matcha latte from this tiny coffee shop in the galleria area, which was recommended by my friend. I added the lavender syrup to my matcha latte. They also have bakery items as well but they sell out really early. I really liked our matcha lattes. I felt like it was really good quality matcha and not the powdery type. The lavender flavor was really subtle and did not overpower the matcha at all. Came for for a quick cup of coffee. This is very much a togo type of place, as it is tiny and located in the middle of Uptown Park. There's literally four stools and a few outdoor tables in terms of seating, so be prepared for that. I ordered my usual of iced matcha, and my friend ordered a macchiato with extra foam. They had a lot of trouble making my friend's order and kept suggesting a latte instead, which he didn't want. At the end, he found the espresso a bit too strong and asked for a bit of milk and more foam , which they poured a lot of both and then proceeded to tell him he should have ordered a cappuccino. He didn't finish the drink, as it was not what he wanted. There was no follow up as to whether he enjoyed the newly doctored drink. Oh well. My iced matcha on the other hand was very good. read more

The staff is very nice to offer you suggestions if you need them. The place is small but it's clean and they get you out soon. They are very friendly and they also have chairs for sitting inside or outside. Not many. I'm sure most people take thier orders to go. They have beautiful plants in the back of the Cafe. I got the latte with the rosemary and lemon syrup ($6). It was delicious! The barista described the flavor like the Girl Scout cookies lemon cookie. I agree! It had a nice strong lemon flavor, with just a touch of the rosemary. The rosemary made it taste slightly like a candle (just because it reminded me of a perfume), but not in a bad way at all. It just added some depth to the flavor profile. This is a cool coffee shop that seems to utilize a median space in a nice shopping outlet. There is limited bar seating inside the store. It is quite small inside. There are 4-5 larger circular tables outside with big umbrellas. This is probably one of the most unique syrups that I have tried before. Not the place for matcha Got the standard iced matcha and vanilla rose matcha. The vanilla rose tasted like all rose syrup, zero matcha, and it separated within almost 30 seconds. It was super bitter and didn't taste good I couldn't even drink it.I am not picky when it comes to my matcha or any other sweet drinks so even my mom was suprised to find that I wouldn't even drink it.It has no taste and not sweetener at all. Maybe it was the miscommunication because I did notice there was a bit of a language barrier with the cashier but I assumed it would be sweet and it tasted like nothing. It was also extremely overpriced for such a small cup of matcha.I can get the same drink but way bigger at Dutch bros for the same price. As for the ambience I don't like that the coffee place is not accessible friendly.All the chairs are high chair stools and it's super cramped in there.Anyone with a wheelchair cannot go and sit in there or anyone who is disabled.Yes they have seating outside but in this Houston heat who wants to sit outside! But too close to others (because it's a small space) to be comfortable to be in a meeting without noise interruptions. Wifi speed - did not measure. But was fast for documents.
