    Herb Roasted Turkey Panino
    Taylor N.

A cute, little coffee shop that's great for studying if you get there early enough to find a seat! This place can get pretty packed, but if you ever get the chance to find a spot, it's great for studying. I ordered an iced flat white with vanilla syrup. It could've used more syrup, but it was great nonetheless. The Herb Roasted Turkey Panino was delicious and flavorful. Overall, I'd definitely come here again!

Great coffee which is the base for outstanding drinks! I ordered an iced mocha that tasted perfect, just the right balance of mocha and coffee. They offer premium beans ( I bought Ethiopian Beans) from some of the best regions for quality coffee. The shop is relatively small but cozy atmosphere with very friendly baristas. If ever back in the neighborhood, I'm there.

This is my favorite coffee shop by far - love the coffees and their made-to-order breakfast item and sandwiches are outstanding. The place is situated at the end of a strip center - you would never see it from the street, but somehow people have discovered this place. If you go at lunch hours, you have a tough time finding a place to sit. Fortunately, they do not get a lot of computer hogs taking up the tables, but they do get an occasional few. The owner is frequently on site, and if it is not peak time will often chat with you for a few minutes. I expect that they will open another location at some point. I highly recommend this coffee shop and I normally with get either the Caprese Panino or the Salmon Toast. They will make modifications to their prepared foods upon request.

This cute coffee shop not only has delicious coffee, but also has delightful sandwiches! Most of their sandwiches are quite big, I wanted something on the small side, so I ordered the cheese sandwich, it comes with cheese and tomato and delicious dressing, but you can add protein or any type of topping that you like, so I requested turkey and avocado and let me tell you, this sandwich was soooo good! that I finished it all! I already had my coffee this morning, so I didn't overload on caffeine, so I just got a lemonade, this was mango flavored, they also have be strawberry and some other flavors. The staff is very nice and attentive, very friendly, they have a cute set up and you can also find pastries, cookies, coffees, and some other type of drinks. There's plenty of parking because they are located in a shopping center.

Had to get some work done to my car and needed coffee shop close by that I could work at. La Tazza was a hidden gem (to me). It's a small and cute coffee shop that was exactly what I needed for a few hours. Service was really great and my iced flat white was delicious. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area

Popped in for an afternoon work session and got a white chocolate raspberry latte with a croissant. The actual place is quite small and cute but it does have a decent amount of seating inside and outside. I had a nice conversation with one of the co owners who was really nice. I think the coffee and food were just okay but I could see myself coming back for another working session!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Houston. The matcha and the lattes are delicious. The food also never fails. My favorite is an iced strawberry blonde latte. They have a variety of food items and pastries which are very good. The service is quick and very friendly. There is plenty of seating and it's a great place to study or hang out. Lots of parking available. They also have some patio chairs and huge umbrellas to cover the sun

Amazing coffee shop. Great food, and excellent coffee. Must try their Strawberry Blonde latte - out of this world. Not too sweet, plenty of strawberry and white chocolate goodness that blends well together while respecting the character and identity of the coffee. I got their El Pepito sandwich and it was delicious. They're very passionate about coffee here. They have detailed labels for all the coffee they sell, and there is a blurb about the standards of coffee that they adhere to. Very special place as far as coffee shops go. In addition, it also has a great vibe inside - a little smatter of green plants, beautiful wall paper and decorations, clean and tidy inside, and the mini wall of coffee products. Check this place out, if you know what is good for you!

Avocado toast x2, rose petal latte, chai latte

An incredible coffee shop! I never even knew this little gem existed, even though I've driven past that Walgreens parking lot for years! I had the chai latte, which was good, but the star of the show was for sure the avocado toast :). The crunch of the ciabatta bread matched perfectly with the avocado and sweet balsamic reduction vinaigrette! There were about 15 seats, so I am glad that I came early before it got bustling. The decor was very elegant and far better than the portraits of animals at Slowpokes down the road in my opinion. There are 2-4 outdoor seats, but the outdoor ambiance really depends on the weather. Lastly, service was good and nothing really "stood out" (which is how it should be at a coffee shop LOL). The food was ready in about 10 minutes, and a server came and took our plates when we were done. Overall, I will definitely come back!

It is a great coffee shop. Featuring Colombian coffees that one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. A terrific tiramisu done properly, with the espresso poured over the savoiardi just before serving. Not cheap. The specialty coffees are small batch, high quality and that is why. The music playlist is fun. Always learning of new Spanish language bands here. Top of the line coffee equipment. Highly recommended.

Loved this coffe shop! This is a great spot to study. One of the few that doesn't have music blasting or people chatting loudly. I will be back. It is tucked off but not hard to find at all. There's a good amount of spots to sit inside as well as out. I would definitely suggest this spot to other. The staff there are very friendly as well. Thank you for a great experience

I could tell this place was popular! I loved my latte and avocado toast! One drink was accidentally made iced when I wanted hot so they made it right without hesitation! I love the bench with tables!

This coffee shop is located in my old stomping grounds. I know this side of Stella Link so well, and I'm pleased to see it's starting to get some worthy coffee spots Nestled in a small shopping outlet, this spot comes highly recommended. I went by here a couple times at various times of day, and it's always busy. This would be one of the only things that is somewhat annoying is that it's a small space with limited seating and surface area, and it always seems to be packed. I even went on a Friday afternoon at 2-3pm and I had to wait for a seat If you are a coffee lover this place is for you. They have all the classic specialty drinks as well as some signature options. Their pastries are all made in house by hand. They have exotic and varieties of coffee beans you won't find at your typical coffee shop. I ordered the pour over Gesha Natural. And while it was a $20+ cup of coffee it was some of the best coffee I've had The manager or owner was talking to friends when I was at the counter then looked at me without words as if to say "what do you want" without saying anything. I didn't love this. But the barista that took care of my order and then meticulously prepared my almost artisanal drink was a delight. This individual was not only informative, and a skilled professional barista, but they also were incredibly polite Some tips: If you are a coffee lover or hipster, definitely take a look at the pour over list. The bean costs change based on market value, but it's well worth it. You can always take your drinks to go. Also, you can purchase beans there as well Cheers!!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
