My husband and I had dinner here on 8/20/23. The table and booth seating were dirty. The menus were greasy so we asked for another pair. We ordered the scallop appetizer which was delicious. I got a class of wine and my husband got a whiskey drink. I ordered the lemon pepper Mahi Mahi and my husband ordered a wedge salad with salmon. Our food arrived at the same time however my husbands salmon was missing. As we're waiting for his salmon I could smell an odor coming from my food. I took a small piece to taste. My fish was rotten! That's where the odor was coming from. When our waitress came back around to check on us I told her that I didn't think my fish was fresh. Her exact worlds were " yes, I can smell that. I'm so sorry about that". She took the plate and asked if I wanted a replacement. I didn't. I was so grossed out so we just asked for the bill. The manager came by with the bill and told us he took the rotten fish off the bill. Great, right? Well not really because my husband wasn't going to eat his food while I sat around and adored him. So I asked the manager if he could remove that too because he wouldn't be eating it. I was shocked that they even expected us to pay anything at all after what happened. When we got the final bill it was $68 for the scallops and our two drinks. My wine, which I didn't even get to drink, was $23. The manager wasn't very sympathetic. Definitely like it better now than when it was Fishouse Vera Cruz. There's no strong fish-market smell when you initially walk in like there was before. Food is great! Specially the chowder (both versions are a thumbs up - try it as a half/half bowl to try both!). Everything is so good! A must when visiting Temecula! read more

My wife and I went on a Monday night; very quiet and amazing restaurant! The bar area off to the side looks cool to hang out in, plus it's a bonus that you can purchase raw seafood to take home with you. We sat in a little booth in the middle of the restaurant, was nice and quiet nobody was really loud. Was freezing outside but couldn't tell on the inside. I had the scallop & shrimp pasta and my wife had the Mahi. We also ordered the calamari which was so good omg. Will definitely be back! read more

Didn't think this place needs any more good reviews but I'm compelled. The patio is super cute with plenty of shade even for out hoooottt lunch outside. Decided to try this place on me and my friends Birthday. We have Birthdays a day apart so I wanted to try a new place. I called to make a reservation and the person asked me if this was a special occasion and I responded with "actually, yes!". They said they would make notes and all that which made me more excited about this place. Fast forward to the actual dinner which was good! I rarely complain about anything, but I didn't have the best service. I understand that everyone has a day, but was still bummed. I had wine and asked for a water, but the water never came. Also, I wanted to have another glass of wine, but server didn't come back. The biggest bummer I had was that they forgot that I made the reservation for me and my friends birthday. Such a great dining experience here! First of all, making resies on Yelp was a HUGE win. We were in Temecula for a last minute getaway and really wanted a nice, sit down restaurant. All the other ones we had in mind were either booked up or didnt have anything open until closer to our bedtime. Prior to arriving, we called the restaurant just to confirm which they did. We got there and were seated immediately. Everyone was exceptionally friendly &our server was amazing. Food came out relatively quickly and the price was decent for the portions given. Parking was a breeze. We got in and out pretty fast, location of the restaurant is ideal and easy to spot from the street. Overall highly recommend this place if you're in the area! The last time we ate a meal at the Temecula 'Bluewater Grill' it had only been opened a short time. While the food was ok, it was nothing to write home about. Now, after these several years driving by it at least 2 times a day, we decided to give it another try. Everything about our lunch was excellent. The greeter, server, associate employees and cooks. My wife had the 'Fish & Veggie Skewer' and I ordered 'Mahi Mahi Tacos'. Both dishes were outstanding. In addition, the restaurant serves fresh made Sour dough bread with real soft butter. The prices were fair. Erin provided service and one might expect from a fine restaurant. We will be back. read more

Definitely poor service got very surprised. But I was there for 1 hour 30 min I got there before a groups of 30 people they forgot me them they put me back on schedule past 45 min. I just walk out. Before I left I the ask for the manager he did not care he said just sorry but walk away right a I ben going to these place since they open for second time. I took my father to Bluewater Grill, and it was a wonderful presentation the server for a wonderful the food was wonderful and atmosphere. I recommend the shrimp cocktail it's more like a prawn cocktail. They are so huge but the sauce that they use is amazing they are mouthwatering, and we will definitely come back again for them every time you dine here! The food was decent, but the service was not. First, we were next up to be seated. Then the person seating people grabbed a group behind us and seated them at a nice table. We were then seated next to a door that the waiters use to enter/exit the outside eating area. Imagine eating dinner and getting blasted with cold air every 30 seconds. I complain.....first they promise to keep the door closed. That doesn't happen. Then they offer to move us. Then they disappear until we are finished eating at which point they now have a table ready for us. Meanwhile there were "reserved" tables we could have used and it is unclear why it took 40 minutes to get a table ready. It ruined the meal. No offer to pick-up the cost of the meal or even half off....nothing. It ruined our evening in Temecula. read more

We usually love this place but on our most recent visit, we learned that they took the reason we go there off the menu (the lobster roll). We've gone here quite a few times but haven't been in a couple of months and didn't realize they'd changed their menu to exclude what we always order. We aren't too big on seafood but we loved the lobster roll so much that we kept coming back for it. There wasn't much else on the menu that sounded appetizing for us so we went with cheeseburgers and I'm pretty sure the kitchen staff spited us for it because they were sloppily made and didn't come with the sides we originally ordered. In the end, we spent $100 on some pretty crappy cheeseburgers and crossed this spot off our list for good. read more

Food - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Selection - 10/10 Stopped in here today (Monday, October 19th) while my car was being serviced at Hyundai next door. The server Sharon was very friendly and helped pair my choice of the Lobster Roll with scalloped potatoes, my favorite, and a buttery Chardonnay from Talbott Vineyards that was well balanced in its acidity and green apple flavors. Both the Lobster Roll and the potatoes interacted very well with that selection. A Pinot Noir from De Luz, not far from Temecula, caught my eye as it's somewhat rate to see such a delicate variety grown in a hot and sunny region. The 2018 City Lights Pinot Noir from Casa Tiene Vista in Fallbrook was outstanding, with its youth clearly shown in its aromatics but with hints of truffle and mushroom to give it the earthy edge a Pinot needs with a delicate and low acidity adding to its smooth mouthfeel. Sharon talked me into getting the new Mud Pie dessert too and it was the perfect pairing, enhancing the intensity of the red fruit character in the wine beautifully. Jaime is running a great restaurant I definitely plan to return to and showcase when I can. I know Fazeli Cellars would be honored to be included in this already outstanding wine list. We visited this restaurant on June 2nd to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint! Sam our waiter was friendly, personable and attentive. Their clam chowder is delicious! The warm sourdough bread is a perfect accompaniment. I enjoyed the lemon crusted mahi-mahi and my husband had the cedar plank salmon, food was excellent! Both dinners came with two sides. The restaurant was very nice, they comped us a slice of mud pie for our anniversary- absolutely sinful and delicious. We will certainly be back. Thank you! read more
