This is my 2nd time to Blush. My first visit was before a vacation to Vegas. I went with Alpine snow. I've had very positive experiences both times. The atmosphere is peaceful. Decor is on point- very pretty! I am pleased with how the filing is done and how the polish is applied! Recommend hvg an appointment. The appt time is pretty accurate. I was able to make a lunchtime appointment since I work nearby and I must say they do a really great job here. Though it wasn't busy at lunch when I went, I would still say make an appointment since there were only 2 ladies working when I was there and if you walk in when its busier maybe you will have to wait. Donna did a great job - not rushed, paid attention to detail - even asked if I wanted a third coat on my shellac color polish (which I always forget to ask for with lighter polish colors; a lot of places I've been to don't automatically do 3 for the light colors without asking). A few of my old standbys in the Royal Oak area have let me down recently with quality or rushed jobs so I'll be happy to return to Blush on my lunch hours at work! read more

I started working in Troy in the spring and recently discovered this nail salon within walking distance from my building. I decided one day to stop in during my lunch for a pedicure. I wasn't sure if it would be busy or not. When I arrived there was only one person inside at the time so I was able to get seated right away for a classic pedicure. The women who greeted me were very nice and led me to the nail polish wall and where to sit. The interior is extremely clean and tastefully decorated. I also noticed they use a new plastic liners each time they run the water for a new pedicure. Super impressed. I have gone to nail salon locations around metro Detroit (never the same one twice as of yet), and this salon by far impressed me the most. The prices are average like any other location ($30 for classic pedi). My classic pedicure was very relaxing and they had great colors to choose from for the polish. The woman knew I was on my lunch hour and worked diligently and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Overall, my feet look and feel good and I do believe I have finally found a nail salon I will keep coming back to. I am looking forward to trying out more services in the near future. read more

Hands down the worst experience I ever had. I did a dip manicure. Three of my nails began to peel within 4 days of having them done. My hair would get stuck in my nails. Three more began to peel after that. All all which happened in a matter of less than a week. I called to make an appointment with Anthony to fix 6 of the nails. So I took them all off and called them to make sure it's still okay to get my nails fixed. Lisa said it's not a problem but he won't have enough time today I'll reschedule for tomorrow. The day of my appt. Anthony argued with me about my nails and how he didn't have time to do my nails and he doesn't want to me do them anyway bc i didn't Venmo him a tip. I didn't know they accept Venmo as a tip, i didn't even have cash on me. They don't accept tip on their credit card machine. I can't believe he said that. This place is trash. All the nail techs were yelling in their native tongue. They verbally attacked me. All because I didn't have cash to give him for a tip. This time I made sure I brought cash to give him a good big tip. read more

Been here twice. First time got a regular mani shellac and it was very nicely done! The place is pretty and the staff is nice (some of them). But I recently got acrylics done and I don't like that at all. Very thick acrylic and very uneven shapes. Pretty upset because it's a nice place. Also the tools my person used weren't sanitized in a sterile bag. read more

I have been going to this salon with my mom for a few months now and we both had really loved it up until our last appointment. Getting regular pedicures and shellac manicures took 2.5 hours and we had to wait 30 minutes initially even though we had an appointment. Then, within 7 days two of my shellac nails were off. I was happy with my nails but customer service-not so great. The lady that greeted me was so rude. I showed up earlier then my appointment time and she actually told me I should have come on my appointment time or called. Drove 25 min to get there. Which is ok, but she said it with so much attitude that it was straight up rude. And the lady that did my nails, never even said hello or smiled. They weren't even busy. Daughter and I went for Mani & Pedi, I received shellac and my daughter got acrylics. The girl that took care of my daughter did not give her a manicure and just put the acrylics on and did not clean up the all of the leftover acrylic under her nails and did not clean up nails on top, she left nail polish on her cuticles and cut one of her fingers.
